Shah Rukh Khan recently launched Jabra Fan the title track of his upcoming film, Fan in Delhi and answered all the questions put to him on the film. During an interaction with the media, SRK said, "Being an superstar, it was especially tough to play the actor Aryan Khanna in the film as it was part like him and part was not like him at all but director Maneesh Sharma was clear as to how Gaurav was going to be." SRK further said before acting in the film he had superficial understanding of what being a fan means but Maneesh knew the intensity and depth of it. So, he just followed his instructions. Thee candid Khan said, “I know I haven't given my 100% to it as it was really tough." Shah Rukh described himself as a Delhi boy and said that he only had "Fan" director Maneesh Sharma to thank for allowing him to essay this role where he could fully explore his "Dillipan". It was his dream to play a Delhi boy and he was envious of other bollywood actors who got to play Delhi centric roles Speaking on the 'Delhi dialect' Shah Rukh said that living in Mumbai for the past 25 years, had forgotten the Dilli wala language so had to brush it up along with Maneesh Sharma Shah Rukh also spoke about Fan as being a technologically advanced film where visual effects and make-up techniques used in the film were a first never ever been used anywhere in the world before this. When asked who he was a fan of SRK said: "I was not a fan of the extent shown in the film, there were two or three people I grew up really loving one would be Mr. Milkha Singh. I loved stories about him, and how he used to be a champion. I used to be a big fan of his. The second would be Muhammed Ali... I was into sports, so I always liked his being little brashy and bratty, and still being so good at his sport. Then of course, all of us have grown up being Mr. Amitabh Bachchan's fans. I was one of them too. So, yes these three people, strangely, because I was into sports, I have mostly sporting people that I was a fan of... Like Sunil Gavaskar. Shah Rukh went on to talk about a hero that both he and his daughter Suhana shared , he said thay were both fans Olympic gold medal-winning Bruce Jenner, who has become Caitlyn Jenner. He said, “I am glad that me and my daughter both know him or her as well because I never thought my children will be introduced to Bruce Jenner in a different avatar -- kind of like 'Fan'.... like I am being introduced in a different avatar after 25 years." Shah Rukh also said he loved reading about and even got the opportunity to meet Mother Teresa, and that he was also a fan of actor Michael J. Fox. Shah Rukh Khan was in Delhi to launch a special anthem "Jabra fan", which he clarified is a promotional song for the movie and will not appear in the film.
