Prince Lincoln Thompson & The Royal Rasses-Nobody here but me.
Prince Lincoln Thompson, known as Sax, was a Jamaican singer, musician and songwriter with the reggae band the Royal Rasses, and a member of the Rastafari movement. He was born June 18, 1949 in the west side of Kingston, Jamaica and died of cancer in London on January 23, 1999, five months before his 50th birthday. He was noted for his high falsetto singing voice, very different from his spoken voice.
Early career
He began his recording career as a harmony singer along with Cedric Myton of The Congos in 1967 in a band called The Tartans who then split up in 1969. In 1971 he was taken on by Coxsone Dodd, and recorded 3 songs with him at Studio One called Daughters of Zion, True Experience and Live up to your name. In 1974 he recorded the Humanity album with Cedric Myton, Clinton Hall and Keith Peterkin, and set up the God Sent label in order to sell it. He had two hit singles with Love the way it should be and Kingston 11.
Record deal
He was only selling a tiny number of records until in 1978 he was signed up by Mo Claridge, who at the time ran Ballistics Records, a London offshoot of United Artists. A single Unconventional people was released as a 12 inch single in March 1979 with the Humanity album following in May. That summer of 79 the Royal Rasses recorded a second Prince Lincoln album, Experience, this time without Cedric Myton. This album contained more than just the traditional drum and bass sound of most reggae. The band renamed themselves the Rasses to avoid confusion with fellow reggae band The Royals to record a further album called Natural Wild in summer 1980. This time the music was made in London. Prince Lincoln's decision to invite English rock musician Joe Jackson was controversial, and the album was a commercial flop. 1978 (MCMLXXVIII) was a common year starting on Sunday. ... Thompson returned to Jamaica and re-set up the God Sent label with the help of German company Juicy Peeple to produce his fourth album Ride with the Rasses in 1982. This music was recorded at Tuff Gong and Channel One studios, but again was not commercially successful. Around this time he and his family moved to Tottenham, London where he opened an Ital shop called The Rasses Fish and Grocery Store. In September 1983 he recorded Rootsman Blues in Addis Ababa studio in London. A leap year (or intercalary or bissextile year) is a year containing one additional day (or, in the case of lunisolar calendars, a month) in order to keep the calendar year synchronized with the astronomical or seasonal year. Because seasons and astronomical events do not repeat in a whole number of days, a calendar that had the same number of days in each year would, over time, drift with respect to the event it was supposed to track. By occasionally inserting (or intercalating) an additional day or month into the year, the drift can be corrected. A year that is not a leap year is called a common year.
For example, in the Gregorian calendar (a common solar calendar), February in a leap year has 29 days instead of the usual 28, so the year lasts 366 days instead of the usual 365. Similarly, in the Hebrew calendar (a lunisolar calendar), Adar Aleph, a 13th lunar month is added seven times every 19 years to the twelve lunar months in its common years to keep its calendar year from drifting through the seasons too rapidly.

Justin Drew Bieber (
/ˈbiːbər/ BEE-bər, born March 1, 1994) is a Canadian Pop/R&B singer-songwriter, musician, and actor. Bieber was discovered in 2008 by Scooter Braun, who came across Bieber's videos on YouTube and later became his manager. Braun arranged for him to meet with Usher in Atlanta, Georgia, and Bieber was soon signed to Raymond Braun Media Group (RBMG), a joint venture between Braun and Usher, and then to a recording contract with Island Records offered by L.A. Reid. Bieber's debut single, "One Time", was released in 2009 and peaked in the top twenty in Canada and charted in the top thirty in several international markets. His debut album, the seven-track EP My World, followed in November 2009, and was soon certified platinum in the United States. Prince Lincoln Thompson & The Royal Rasses-Nobody here but me. Prince Lincoln Thompson, known as Sax, was a Jamaican singer, musician and songwriter with the reggae band the Royal Rasses, and a member of the Rastafari movement. He was born June 18, 1949 in the west side of Kingston, Jamaica and died of cancer in London on January 23, 1999, five months before his 50th birthday. He was noted for his high falsetto singing voice, very different from his spoken voice. Early career He began his recording career as a harmony singer along with Cedric Myton of The Congos in 1967 in a band called The Tartans who then split up in 1969. In 1971 he was taken on by Coxsone Dodd, and recorded 3 songs with him at Studio One called Daughters of Zion, True Experience and Live up to your name. In 1974 he recorded the Humanity album with Cedric Myton, Clinton Hall and Keith Peterkin, and set up the God Sent label in order to sell it. He had two hit singles with Love the way it should be and Kingston 11. Record deal He was only selling a tiny number of records until in 1978 he was signed up by Mo Claridge, who at the time ran Ballistics Records, a London offshoot of United Artists. A single Unconventional people was released as a 12 inch single in March 1979 with the Humanity album following in May. That summer of 79 the Royal Rasses recorded a second Prince Lincoln album, Experience, this time without Cedric Myton. This album contained more than just the traditional drum and bass sound of most reggae. The band renamed themselves the Rasses to avoid confusion with fellow reggae band The Royals to record a further album called Natural Wild in summer 1980. This time the music was made in London. Prince Lincoln's decision to invite English rock musician Joe Jackson was controversial, and the album was a commercial flop. 1978 (MCMLXXVIII) was a common year starting on Sunday. ... Leap Year Storm Damage in Nevada, Missouri
On Feb. 29th the storm that did all the damage in Branson and the rest of the Ozarks also took the roof off my barn and totally destroyed the neighbors barn. Feb. 29th is awful early for tornadoes to be happening. Prince Lincoln Thompson, known as Sax, was a Jamaican singer, musician and songwriter with the reggae band the Royal Rasses, and a member of the Rastafari movement. He was born June 18, 1949 in the west side of Kingston, Jamaica and died of cancer in London on January 23, 1999, five months before his 50th birthday. He was noted for his high falsetto singing voice, very different from his spoken voice.
Early career
He began his recording career as a harmony singer along with Cedric Myton of The Congos in 1967 in a band called The Tartans who then split up in 1969. In 1971 he was taken on by Coxsone Dodd, and recorded 3 songs with him at Studio One called Daughters of Zion, True Experience and Live up to your name. In 1974 he recorded the Humanity album with Cedric Myton, Clinton Hall and Keith Peterkin, and set up the God Sent label in order to sell it. He had two hit singles with Love the way it should be and Kingston 11.
Record deal
He was only selling a tiny number of records until in 1978 he was signed up by Mo Claridge, who at the time ran Ballistics Records, a London offshoot of United Artists. A single Unconventional people was released as a 12 inch single in March 1979 with the Humanity album following in May. That summer of 79 the Royal Rasses recorded a second Prince Lincoln album, Experience, this time without Cedric Myton. This album contained more than just the traditional drum and bass sound of most reggae. The band renamed themselves the Rasses to avoid confusion with fellow reggae band The Royals to record a further album called Natural Wild in summer 1980. This time the music was made in London. Prince Lincoln's decision to invite English rock musician Joe Jackson was controversial, and the album was a commercial flop. 1978 (MCMLXXVIII) was a common year starting on Sunday. ... Around this time he and his family moved to Tottenham, London where he opened an Ital shop called The Rasses Fish and Grocery Store. In September 1983 he recorded Rootsman Blues in Addis Ababa studio in London. It was released by Target Records with only three musicians per track, giving the music the intimate quality of chamber music. 1982 (MCMLXXXII) was a common year starting on Friday of the Gregorian calendar. ... As soon as the Node13 started I meet David Morasz and M4D, they show me the Leap sensor and we started doing some stuff with it,,, ...

As soon as the Node13 started I meet David Morasz and M4D, they show me the Leap sensor and we started doing some stuff with it,,, on Tuesday woei gave Simoe the patch to control the drone by vvvv, i took one of the leap sensor and i build my own 2d control, then a 3d control, and i we stop because we run out of time for the next workshops.

on Saturday we keep the same idea, and i meet another great guy there, Felix Herbst, he had his own Leap so he starting building his own version of the control, i was sure that we bout did it right because we made the same thing without knowing each other :P, we got a different approach on how to do the Yaw movement, but he had this great idea of using the altitude sensor feedback to compare it with the data from the drone, and the difference its the altitude command, by doing this if you keep the hand at one point the drone will keep a fix altitude. In addition he add the " no hand, then land ", but it need to wait, but also it need to be fast to do something more complex... and there is nothing more complex that moving 4 drone in sync with a 90* difference between each other on a close space with one hand over a leap motion sensor
all the credits goes to woei who wrote the code,,, and beside that he wrote another patch to tell the drone where to connect, in this case all of them were connected to the same router,,, Felix PC ( pilot) send osc data to my pc ( Mission control) to double check everything, and from my pc to the router to the 4 drones, i was able to overwrite any command with a xbox360 controller, take off, land, emergency and yaw...
It was a great experience, and I'm still amazed of all the great people that i meet on Node13.

CORPUS CHRISTI – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley Vaqueros men’s and women’s track and field teams kick off their outdoor season on Saturday at the Islander Open at the Dugan Family Track & Field Stadium.
Competition begins at 8 a.m. with hammer throw and the 10,000-meter run and the steeplechase at 9:15 a.m. The rest of the running events will start at 2 p.m. and will be on a rolling schedule starting with the 4x100-meter relay.

Last Time Out
The Vaqueros wrapped up their indoor season at the WAC Indoor Conference Championships where they posted 10 top-five finishes on the final day.
The Vaqueros got the day started with a pair of top-five finishes in the men's shot put as freshman Paul May set the bar with a third place finish after hitting a career-best mark of 15.33 meters, which ranks fourth all-time in program history. With his performance, May earned First Team All-WAC honors
Sophomore Antonio Salinas finished a spot behind May in fourth place with a throw of 15.06 meters while sophomore Isaac Samuels finished in sixth place with a throw of 14.69 meters. Salinas and Samuels both earned Second Team All-WAC honors.
Junior Mar Gonzalez also earned Second Team All-WAC honors as he posted a fourth place finish 14.15 meters in the triple jump.
On the women's side, senior Megan Shaw posted a second place finish after hitting a mark of 14.16 meters while sophomore Alyssa Garcia finished in fifth place with a throw of 13.27 meters. Shaw earned First Team All-WAC while Garcia earned Second Team All-WAC honors.
Senior Leocajuan Williams added a second place finish in the women's triple jump after a leap of 11.90 meters to also earn First Team All-WAC honors. In the high jump it was junior Kerissa Wiley who finished in sixth after clearing a height of 1.63 meters and sophomore Kimberly Kuriata who finished in seventh after clearing a height of 1.60 meters.
In the running events, sophomore Christian Williams earned Second Team All-WAC honors with a fourth place finish in the 60-meter hurdles with a career-best time of 8.36 seconds, which ranks third in program history.
Freshman Yariel Matute took home First Team All-WAC honors as he finished in third place in the 400-meter dash with a time of 48.59 seconds. Matute teamed with sophomore File Patiño, senior Trevion Williams and freshman Anthony Magallon in the 4x400-meter relay to finish in third place with a program record time of 3:16.09.

The Vaqueros won four events on the final day of last year’s Islander Open.
Robin Galloso won the 1,500-meter run with a time of 4:48.41 with Jennifer Zapata finishing in second. Galloso went on to win the women’s 800-meter run with a time of 2:19.78.
Trey Taylor won the discus throw with a throw of 46.77 meters while Isaac Samuels finished in second with a throw of 45.98 meters. Samuels added a second place finish in the shot put with Taylor finishing in third.
Trevion Williams made his debut in the 400-meter dash and won with a time of 49.26 seconds and then added a fifth place finish in the 200-meter dash with a time of 22.20 seconds.
Next Up
The Vaqueros will be back in action on March 25 when they head to Houston for the Victor Lopez Classic, hosted by Rice University.

CORPUS CHRISTI – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley Vaqueros men’s and women’s track and field teams kick off their outdoor season on Saturday at the Islander Open at the Dugan Family Track & Field Stadium.
Competition begins at 8 a.m. with hammer throw and the 10,000-meter run and the steeplechase at 9:15 a.m. The rest of the running events will start at 2 p.m. and will be on a rolling schedule starting with the 4x100-meter relay.
Who Else
UTRGV and Texas A&M-Corpus; Christi will be joined by Concordia, Huston Tillotson, Incarnate Word, Our Lady of the Lake, Texas Southern, Texas A&M-Kingsville; and Texas Lutheran
Last Time Out
The Vaqueros wrapped up their indoor season at the WAC Indoor Conference Championships where they posted 10 top-five finishes on the final day.
The Vaqueros got the day started with a pair of top-five finishes in the men's shot put as freshman Paul May set the bar with a third place finish after hitting a career-best mark of 15.33 meters, which ranks fourth all-time in program history. With his performance, May earned First Team All-WAC honors
Sophomore Antonio Salinas finished a spot behind May in fourth place with a throw of 15.06 meters while sophomore Isaac Samuels finished in sixth place with a throw of 14.69 meters. Salinas and Samuels both earned Second Team All-WAC honors.
Junior Mar Gonzalez also earned Second Team All-WAC honors as he posted a fourth place finish 14.15 meters in the triple jump.
On the women's side, senior Megan Shaw posted a second place finish after hitting a mark of 14.16 meters while sophomore Alyssa Garcia finished in fifth place with a throw of 13.27 meters. Shaw earned First Team All-WAC while Garcia earned Second Team All-WAC honors.
Senior Leocajuan Williams added a second place finish in the women's triple jump after a leap of 11.90 meters to also earn First Team All-WAC honors. In the high jump it was junior Kerissa Wiley who finished in sixth after clearing a height of 1.63 meters and sophomore Kimberly Kuriata who finished in seventh after clearing a height of 1.60 meters.
In the running events, sophomore Christian Williams earned Second Team All-WAC honors with a fourth place finish in the 60-meter hurdles with a career-best time of 8.36 seconds, which ranks third in program history.
Freshman Yariel Matute took home First Team All-WAC honors as he finished in third place in the 400-meter dash with a time of 48.59 seconds. Matute teamed with sophomore File Patiño, senior Trevion Williams and freshman Anthony Magallon in the 4x400-meter relay to finish in third place with a program record time of 3:16.09.

Feb. 29th is awful early for tornadoes to be happening. Good time to make sure you have flashlights with working batteries, extra candles, generators and other emergency preparations made as tornado season is starting a little early here in the Midwest!
