Salah (dancer)

Salah "Entertainer" Benlemqawanssa (born June 28, 1979), also known as Spider Salah, is an award-winning competitive hip-hop dancer from France who won the inaugural season of La France a un incroyable talent (France has Incredible Talent) and the fourth season of Arabs Got Talent. He calls his personal dance style P.A.B.E. which stands for Popping, Animation, Boogaloo, and Effects. Although Salah is best known for popping, he is also skilled in b-boying.

Career

Salah started dancing in 1996 after he saw the dance crew O Posse practicing their moves in front of the mirrors of the Théâtre national de Chaillot. Two years later, he and his crew The Family won second place at the international b-boying competition Battle of the Year (BOTY) in 1998. In 1999, he joined the contemporary dance company Montalvo-Hervieu.

In 2006, Salah won the first season of Incroyable Talent. In 2007, he performed a one-man stage show at London-based Breakin' Convention called "The Dream of Gluby". In 2008, he starred as himself in Beats Per Minute, an independent film about a French popper who discovers he can rewind time with his dance moves. In 2009, Salah served as a judge at BOTY's international one-on-one b-boy battle in Germany. BOTY is a b-boy competition exclusively for b-boy crews; however, to celebrate their 20th anniversary they had a competition for b-boy solo dancers.

Salah (biblical figure)

Salah (שלח, Shelach, ISO 259-3 Šelḥ Hebrew word #7974 in Strong's Concordance) is an ancestor of the Israelites according to the Table of Nations in Genesis 10. He is thus one of the table's "seventy names". He is called Shelah in 1 Chronicles 1:18 and Sala (Greek word #4527 in Strong's) in the Septuagint and Luke 3:35.

In the ancestral line from Noah to Abraham, he is the son of Arpachshad (in the Masoretic Text) or Cainan (in the Septuagint and Samaritan Pentateuch) and the father of Eber. The name "Eber" for his son is the original eponym of the Hebrew people, from the root 'abar (עבר, Hebrew word #5674 in Strong's Concordance), "to cross over".

The Book of Luke and Book of Jubilees from the Christian Bible both agree with the Septuagint and the Samaritan Pentateuch in making Salah the son of Cainan, adding the information that his mother was Milcah (the daughter of Madai), while his wife is named as Mu'ak, daughter of Kesed (another son of Arphachsad).

Salah's age at death is given as 433 (Masoretic), 460 (Septuagint), and 460 (Samaritan).

Dana

Dana (ضانا) is a small village near the city of Tafilah, in central-western Jordan. It is situated on the edge of a large natural gorge, Wadi Dana and enjoys spectacular view over Wadi Araba.

Dana is about 500 years old, and preserves many aspects of Jordanian villages of the 19th century villages of Jordan. It hosts Dana nature reserve, one of Jordan's premier nature reserves with eco-tourism facilities.

Dana (car)

Dana was the brand name of a car built by Hakon Olsen, who had created the Maskinfabriken Dana in Copenhagen, Denmark. The car had a Peugeot air-cooled 6 hp engine and was built between 1908 and 1914 with minor modifications. The end of its (limited) production has been attributed to different company priorities after the outbreak of World War I.

Dana, proizvodnja in prodaja pijač, d. o. o. (English: Dana, the manufacture and sale of drinks) is a major Slovenian manufacturer of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. It is located in the village of Mirna in southeastern Slovenia.

The company was established as a work organization in 1952. The brand Dana was registered in 1955. At first, the company produced only alcoholic beverages. After 1970, the program was expanded with the non-alcohol beverages. Since 2005, Dana has made the majority of profit with its high-quality natural mineral water Dana. In July 2012, the company was transformed from a joint-stock company to a limited liability company. It changed its name from Dana, tovarna rastlinskih specialitet in destilacija, d.d. In 2000, Dana was ISO 9001 certified. In 2009, it obtained the International Food Standard (IFS) certificate.
