FINALLY a complete list of the Best songs from 1990-1999 by year....Since every other playlist video on YouTube was either incomplete, a copy of somebody else's music list, or just based on VH1's top 100 list, I made a full playlist of the 90's. Remember...these songs are among the best of the 1990's. I couldn't include EVERY song from that era. Nobody wants to compile that list.
BTW...enter sandman was purposely excluded.
For all those obsessed with 2pac, there IS a song by him mixed in the list!

We have revamped our entire network of IOS Smart Phone applications adding new DAB stations Absolute Radio 60s, home of The Beatles, Stones and Motown and Absolute Radio 70s, the UK's Only 70s Radio Station, to the current series. Fresh apps for Absolute Radio,Absolute 80s, Absolute Radio 90s, Absolute Radio 00s, Absolute Classic Rock and Absolute Radio extra complete our 6th generation app launch.
The updates have been developed to furthermore increase usability and positive in app experiences across the board and we can claim a UK first with the inclusion of the Mobile In-Stream functionality. This follows news that we are set to partner with European start--up AdsWizz to provide the technology that will power the new Absolute Radio In-Stream Ads Service.
The service offers 'full view' gender, demographic and active location-based targeting via IP which effectively tailors the user's in-app experience and dictates the content and adverts they receive. This groundbreaking technology offers listeners the opportunity to receive a better quality, contextual, visualized radio experience that's more relevant to them, while advertisers gain an intimate level of access to the station's core audience.
To date, the Absolute Radio app network has recorded over 2.5m installs and 300,000 active users. We recorded over a 500% increase in mobile revenue growth from 2010 and forecast that this will double into next year.
The new apps were designed in-house and co-built by the Absolute Radio OGS Labs team and All In Media. The refreshed interfaces, eye catching new design and UI allows listeners to tune into their favourite shows directly in-app with improved quality thanks to the new 'Intelligent Streaming' function. This ensures CD quality audio through a wireless connection with strong stream quality preventing constant buffering when listening on the move.
A host of new features are available across the new app network including the revolutionary RadioSync Technology. This allows users to scroll seamlessly through their mobile radio experience from the moment they started streaming. Listeners can remind themselves of tracks that have been played,download or share the music, buy gig tickets through the Absolute Radio ticket store and more.
Each app includes instant access to Absolute Radio's complete podcast archive. With over 20,000 free podcasts to choose from, users can save their favourites and be notified via Push Notifications when a new episode is available. Access to all of the top interviews with artists, celebrities and presenters are available in app, via the Absolute Radio YouTube channel.
The apps also allow listeners to interact directly with the Absolute Radio studio over the phone, using SMS, email and AudioBoo with increased social network sharing functions via Facebook and Twitter.

The latest Absolute Radio suite of apps are updated with new features and available in mobile stores to download now.
As before listening to all Absolute Radio stations is made easy on the move and we've been very careful to maintain the stability of our mobile streams when moving between mobile network connection speeds. For our Apple and Android apps we've now included the ability to listen in high quality when connected to wifi. This HQ stream sounds great when connected to external speakers or docked in an iPod dock. The HQ stream can be activated by selecting the HQ button. The HQ option is streamed at 128kbps.
We've also added an 'email studio' function, so contacting and joining in with the show you're listening to is quick and easy to do.
Remember, when you're listening to one of Absolute Radio's stations from the app, we will also show you what track is playing on the other available stations so if you see a song playing on another station that you like it's easy to flip over, have a listen and flip back to you favourite station.
Apps are available for Absolute Radio, Absolute 80s, Absolute Radio 90s, Absolute Radio 00s and Absolute Classic Rock. Don't forget that you can also listen to live premiership commentary on Saturday afternoons from any of these apps direct to your mobile.
All of our Apple and Android apps are compatible with the most popular mobile advertising networks with all Apple apps compatible with iAd.

We've launched a fully loaded Absolute Radio app for the Samsung Smart TV platform
Designed in-house at Absolute Radio and built by the TV App Agency, the App, available now, gives Samsung Smart TV owners direct access to live streamed HQ audio from the Absolute Radio Network -- including Absolute Radio, Absolute Radio 60s, Absolute Radio 70s, Absolute 80s, Absolute Radio 90s, Absolute Radio 00s, Absolute Classic Rock and Absolute Radio extra.
The Samsung Smart Hub interface allows one-click access to all Absolute Radio audio streaming in High Quality, with tabbed navigation that enables the user to easily switch between stations and shows using their TV's remote control. Real time 'Now Playing' and 'Up Next' information is included, alongside track artwork and Twitter messages from the on-air presenter.
QR codes are also a feature giving smart phone consumers the ability to find out more by scanning the QR code from selected marketing banners on screen with their smartphones and tablets. Users will have access to a wide variety of products including the free Absolute Radio Rock 'N' Roll Football Live Scores app -- the stations fully loaded Barclays Premier League commentary and match day centre application.

Absolute Radio is one of the UK's three Independent National Radio stations. The station rebranded to its current name at 7:45 am on 29 September 2008.
The station is based in London and plays popular rock music. It currently broadcasts on mediumwave and DAB across the UK, on 105.8 FM in London, Sky (channel 0107), Virgin Media (channel 915), Freeview (channel 727), Freesat (channel 724) and TalkTalk TV (channel 620). It is also available in other parts of the world via satellite, cable, and on the Internet. Absolute Radio is a patron of The Radio Academy.
The 1990 Broadcasting Act allowed for the launch of independent national radio (INR) stations in the United Kingdom. The Radio Authority was mandated to award three INR licences, one of which (INR1) had to be for a 'non-pop' station (which was awarded to Classic FM), and one of which had to be for a predominantly speech-based service (this would be advertised later as INR3 and would be awarded to Talk Radio). The remaining licence was to be open to 'all-comers'. The licences were to be awarded to the highest cash bidder, providing that the applicant met criteria set down in the Broadcasting Act.

Absolute Radio 90s is a spin-off service from Absolute Radio. Like Absolute 80s, this DAB spin-off service is a rolling music service which plays music from the 1990s. Some of the artists which feature on the service include Blur, Oasis, The Chemical Brothers, Guns and Roses, Portishead, The Stone Roses, Radiohead and Primal Scream amongst others. It was launched on DAB Digital Radio in London in June 2010 and on the Digital One platform on 25 August 2010 and was initially available for one month as a 'test'. However, the availability of the station nationally continued beyond the end of September, and after a strong opening Rajar figure, it was confirmed that the 90s service would continue to be available on Digital One.
The station was announced in May 2010 when Absolute 80s launched on the Digital One national multiplex.
In fact, the station had by June 11, narrowed what the launch song would be down to two - Blur's "Country House" or Oasis's "Roll With It". Even after the two groups have split, the rivalry between the two continues. Potential listeners could decide by going to the stations website. The service was officially launched on Monday, June 21, 2010 by Christian O'Connell at 10am with the Oasis song "Roll With It" being the first song played on the station (with 58% of the vote). It was then followed by a 90s mixtape.

Marina Lambrini Diamandis (Greek: Μαρίνα-Λαμπρινή Διαμάντη, pronounced [ðʝaˈmadi]; born 10 October 1985), better known by her stage name Marina and the Diamonds (sometimes stylised as Marina & the Diamonds), is a Welsh singer-songwriter. She rose to fame after reaching number two on the BBC Sound of 2010 poll list, coming second to Ellie Goulding. After releasing one private EP, Diamandis released her second extended play, The Crown Jewels EP, with help from Neon Gold Records, in 2009. Now signed to 679 Recordings, she released her debut full length studio album, The Family Jewels, followed by her third extended play, The American Jewels EP, in 2010. In 2011, Diamandis announced that she was working on her second album, Electra Heart, which was released in April 2012 and went to #1 in the UK and Ireland.
Her stage name, "Marina and the Diamonds", consists of Diamandis' first name and the translation of her surname which means "Diamonds" in Greek. Although "The Diamonds" is often mistakenly believed to refer to her backing band, it in fact refers to Diamandis' fans: she explains this on her Myspace page by saying "I'm Marina. You are the diamonds."

As before listening to all Absolute Radio stations is made easy on the move and we've been very careful to maintain the stability of our mobile streams when moving between mobile network connection speeds. We have revamped our entire network of IOS Smart Phone applications adding new DAB stations Absolute Radio 60s, home of The Beatles, Stones and Motown and Absolute Radio 70s, the UK's Only 70s Radio Station, to the current series. Fresh apps for Absolute Radio,Absolute 80s, Absolute Radio 90s, Absolute Radio 00s, Absolute Classic Rock and Absolute Radio extra complete our 6th generation app launch.
The updates have been developed to furthermore increase usability and positive in app experiences across the board and we can claim a UK first with the inclusion of the Mobile In-Stream functionality. This follows news that we are set to partner with European start--up AdsWizz to provide the technology that will power the new Absolute Radio In-Stream Ads Service.
The service offers 'full view' gender, demographic and active location-based targeting via IP which effectively tailors the user's in-app experience and dictates the content and adverts they receive. This groundbreaking technology offers listeners the opportunity to receive a better quality, contextual, visualized radio experience that's more relevant to them, while advertisers gain an intimate level of access to the station's core audience.
To date, the Absolute Radio app network has recorded over 2.5m installs and 300,000 active users. We recorded over a 500% increase in mobile revenue growth from 2010 and forecast that this will double into next year.
The new apps were designed in-house and co-built by the Absolute Radio OGS Labs team and All In Media. The refreshed interfaces, eye catching new design and UI allows listeners to tune into their favourite shows directly in-app with improved quality thanks to the new 'Intelligent Streaming' function. This ensures CD quality audio through a wireless connection with strong stream quality preventing constant buffering when listening on the move.
A host of new features are available across the new app network including the revolutionary RadioSync Technology. This allows users to scroll seamlessly through their mobile radio experience from the moment they started streaming. Listeners can remind themselves of tracks that have been played,download or share the music, buy gig tickets through the Absolute Radio ticket store and more.
Each app includes instant access to Absolute Radio's complete podcast archive. With over 20,000 free podcasts to choose from, users can save their favourites and be notified via Push Notifications when a new episode is available. Access to all of the top interviews with artists, celebrities and presenters are available in app, via the Absolute Radio YouTube channel.

The latest Absolute Radio suite of apps are updated with new features and available in mobile stores to download now.
As before listening to all Absolute Radio stations is made easy on the move and we've been very careful to maintain the stability of our mobile streams when moving between mobile network connection speeds. For our Apple and Android apps we've now included the ability to listen in high quality when connected to wifi. This HQ stream sounds great when connected to external speakers or docked in an iPod dock. The HQ stream can be activated by selecting the HQ button. The HQ option is streamed at 128kbps.
We've also added an 'email studio' function, so contacting and joining in with the show you're listening to is quick and easy to do.
Remember, when you're listening to one of Absolute Radio's stations from the app, we will also show you what track is playing on the other available stations so if you see a song playing on another station that you like it's easy to flip over, have a listen and flip back to you favourite station.
Apps are available for Absolute Radio, Absolute 80s, Absolute Radio 90s, Absolute Radio 00s and Absolute Classic Rock. Don't forget that you can also listen to live premiership commentary on Saturday afternoons from any of these apps direct to your mobile.
All of our Apple and Android apps are compatible with the most popular mobile advertising networks with all Apple apps compatible with iAd.
Absolute Radio apps are available across multiple devices and platforms, including the Apple, Android, Nokia, Blackberry and Windows Phone 7.

The "Green Book" was a travel guide published from 1936-1964 by a black postal worker in Harlem, NY named Victor H. Green. He featured restaurants, hotels, barbershops, beauty parlors, taverns, garages and gas stations that were willing to serve black people during the Jim Crow era.
Victor Green said he created the "Green Book" to "give the Negro traveler information that will keep him from running into difficulties, embarrassments and to make his trip more enjoyable.”
There are many stories about the difficulties of blacks traveling in the Southern and Northeastern United States but it was even more challenging for blacks to travel in the Western United States. Only six percent of the 100+ motels that lined Route 66 in Albuquerque, New Mexico admitted blacks, so a travel guide was an absolute necessity.

Spending a day in Girona will reveal its beautiful architecture and ancient history. The best part is that it's only 60 miles north of Barcelona and easily reached by bus, car or train, making it a most popular day trip destination from Barcelona.
David starts off by having his guide Carles explain a little bit about why Girona has such a fascinating history - it's geographical location at the crossroads of Spain and France has always made it a strategic point, thus highly desirable to those who wished to conquer the Iberian Peninsula. When the Romans arrived they realized that controlling Girona was the key to gaining control of the Iberian Peninsula.
One of the main things to do in the Old Town is walk along the 14th century Medieval walls. The wall stretches 1.5 kilometers and was used as a protective measure for the city's inhabitants. Carles stops to explain the purpose for the holes in the wall. He then takes David to the oldest part of the wall constructed by the Romans in the 3rd century. They built a section of the wall in a triangular shape to get unobstructed views of the river.
From the wall you get excellent panoramic views of the Old Town and the Pyrenees Mountains, making it great for taking pictures. Up next is the Gothic-style Girona Cathedral, which took over 400 years to complete! The reason for the lengthy construction is its architectural design. Instead of having columns to support the roof, it has only a single arch spanning the entire width of the church (23 meters). The Girona Cathedral has the world's largest Gothic arch.
The last stop on David's day in Girona is the Cathedral Cloister. It is a Romanesque Cloister that features a series of beautiful columns depicting figures and animal motifs. It also has a handsome bell tower.
