Shares of public sector banks were outperforming other sectoral indices on Tuesday in an otherwise slumping market amid hopes that the government move last week to demonetise Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 currency notes will have a material impact on Casa ratios and improve bottomline of domestic lenders ... I believe PSU banks will benefit more than private lenders as they had opened a large number of Jan-Dhan accounts in the recent past....

While hunting down that elusive ATM machine which has cash in it, banks are charging customers ATM usage fee, if they used other network machines ... The guard, who worked in Mandaveli, has an account with Indian Overseas Bank ...
