BILAL DAN ADZAN TERAKHIRNYA
Semenjak Rasulullah wafat, Bilal menyatakan bahwa dirinya tidak akan mengumandangkan adzan lagi.
Ketika Khalifah Abu Bakar memintanya untuk menjadi muadzin kembali, dengan hati pilu nan sendu bilal berkata: "Biarkan aku hanya menjadi muadzin Rasulullah saja. Rasulullah telah tiada, maka aku bukan muadzin siapa-siapa lagi."
Abu Bakar pun tak bisa lagi mendesak Bilal untuk kembali mengumandangkan adzan.
Kesedihan sebab ditinggal wafat Rasulullah terus mengendap di hati Bilal. Dan kesedihan itu yang mendorongnya meninggalkan Madinah, dia ikut pasukan Fath Islamy menuju Syam, dan kemudian tinggal di Homs, Syria.
Lama Bilal tak mengunjungi Madinah, sampai pada suatu malam, Rasulullah hadir dalam mimpi Bilal, dan menegurnya: "Ya Bilal, Wa maa hadzal jafa? Hai Bilal, mengapa engkau tak mengunjungiku? Mengapa sampai seperti ini?"
Bilal pun bangun terperanjat, segera dia mempersiapkan perjalanan ke Madinah, untuk ziarah ke makam Rasulullah. Sekian tahun sudah dia meninggalkan Rasulullah.
Setiba di Madinah, Bilal bersedu sedan melepas rasa rindunya pada Rasulullah, pada sang kekasih.
Saat itu, dua pemuda yang telah beranjak dewasa, mendekatinya. Keduanya adalah cucu Rasulullah Hasan dan Husein. Dengan mata sembab oleh tangis, Bilal yang kian beranjak tua memeluk kedua cucu Rasulullah tersebut.
Salah satu dari keduanya berkata kepada Bilal: "Paman, maukah engkau sekali saja mengumandangkan adzan untuk kami? Kami ingin mengenang kakek kami."
Ketika itu, Umar bin Khattab yang telah jadi Khalifah juga sedang melihat pemandangan mengharukan itu, dan beliau juga memohon kepada Bilal untuk mengumandangkan adzan, meski sekali saja.
Bilal pun memenuhi permintaan itu.
Saat waktu shalat tiba, dia naik pada tempat dahulu biasa dia adzan pada masa Rasulullah masih hidup.
Mulailah dia mengumandangkan adzan.
Saat lafadz Allahu Akbar dikumandangkan olehnya, mendadak seluruh Madinah senyap, segala aktifitas terhenti, semua terkejut, suara yang telah bertahun-tahun hilang, suara yang mengingatkan pada sosok Nan Agung, suara yang begitu dirindukan itu telah kembali.
Ketika Bilal meneriakkan kata Asyhadu an laa ilaha illallah, seluruh isi kota madinah berlarian ke arah suara itu sambil berteriak, bahkan para gadis dalam pingitan mereka pun keluar.
Dan saat bilal mengumandangkan Asyhadu anna Muhammadan Rasulullah, Madinah pecah oleh tangisan dan ratapan yang sangat memilukan.
Semua menangis, teringat masa-masa indah bersama Rasulullah, Umar bin Khattab yang paling keras tangisnya. Bahkan Bilal sendiri pun tak sanggup meneruskan adzannya, lidahnya tercekat oleh air mata yang berderai. Hari itu madinah mengenang masa saat masih ada Rasulullah diantara mereka.
Hari itu adalah adzan pertama dan terakhir bagi Bilal setelah Rasulullah wafat. Adzan yang tak bisa dirampungkan.
Subhanallah...
kisah diatas ini mampu mencampur adukkan perasaan kita.
Mampu membuat kita menitikkan airmata tanda kecintaan kita kepada Rasulullah Shallallaahu ‘Alaihi Wasallaam, sebagaimana cinta kita pula kepada umat Muhammad.
Itulah pentingnya ukhuwah...
karena ukhuwah itu merupakan penanda keimanan kita.

Bilal (2008)
PlotObserving the life of a toddler boy, Bilal, who still needs a lot of care, and his blind parents is fascinating yet uneasy and dangerous. Unlike their parents, the kids are not blind. Bilal lives with his parents who do not need light. In his dark house he plays hide-and-seek and teases his younger brother (sometimes in a risky manner) and then breaks his arm. When he wants to "hide" from his parents, he sneaks out and other various things happen. It is not that his parents leave the kids alone, in fact, they do their best. Capturing a young sighted boy, unaware of cameras, and his blind parents, offers a sense of reality and rare moments of love and hope. Their everyday life may look cruel to viewers who can see, but to them it is normal and natural. Bilal lives in hardship with his family in their own way and creates another life for himself.

Ketika Khalifah Abu Bakar memintanya untuk menjadi muadzin kembali, dengan hati pilu nan sendu bilal berkata: "Biarkan aku hanya menjadi muadzin Rasulullah saja. BILAL DAN ADZAN TERAKHIRNYA
Semenjak Rasulullah wafat, Bilal menyatakan bahwa dirinya tidak akan mengumandangkan adzan lagi.
Ketika Khalifah Abu Bakar memintanya untuk menjadi muadzin kembali, dengan hati pilu nan sendu bilal berkata: "Biarkan aku hanya menjadi muadzin Rasulullah saja. Rasulullah telah tiada, maka aku bukan muadzin siapa-siapa lagi."
Abu Bakar pun tak bisa lagi mendesak Bilal untuk kembali mengumandangkan adzan.
Kesedihan sebab ditinggal wafat Rasulullah terus mengendap di hati Bilal. Dan kesedihan itu yang mendorongnya meninggalkan Madinah, dia ikut pasukan Fath Islamy menuju Syam, dan kemudian tinggal di Homs, Syria.
Lama Bilal tak mengunjungi Madinah, sampai pada suatu malam, Rasulullah hadir dalam mimpi Bilal, dan menegurnya: "Ya Bilal, Wa maa hadzal jafa? Hai Bilal, mengapa engkau tak mengunjungiku? Mengapa sampai seperti ini?"
Bilal pun bangun terperanjat, segera dia mempersiapkan perjalanan ke Madinah, untuk ziarah ke makam Rasulullah. Sekian tahun sudah dia meninggalkan Rasulullah.
Setiba di Madinah, Bilal bersedu sedan melepas rasa rindunya pada Rasulullah, pada sang kekasih.
Saat itu, dua pemuda yang telah beranjak dewasa, mendekatinya. Keduanya adalah cucu Rasulullah Hasan dan Husein. Dengan mata sembab oleh tangis, Bilal yang kian beranjak tua memeluk kedua cucu Rasulullah tersebut.
Salah satu dari keduanya berkata kepada Bilal: "Paman, maukah engkau sekali saja mengumandangkan adzan untuk kami? Kami ingin mengenang kakek kami."
Ketika itu, Umar bin Khattab yang telah jadi Khalifah juga sedang melihat pemandangan mengharukan itu, dan beliau juga memohon kepada Bilal untuk mengumandangkan adzan, meski sekali saja.
Bilal pun memenuhi permintaan itu.
Saat waktu shalat tiba, dia naik pada tempat dahulu biasa dia adzan pada masa Rasulullah masih hidup.
Mulailah dia mengumandangkan adzan.
Saat lafadz Allahu Akbar dikumandangkan olehnya, mendadak seluruh Madinah senyap, segala aktifitas terhenti, semua terkejut, suara yang telah bertahun-tahun hilang, suara yang mengingatkan pada sosok Nan Agung, suara yang begitu dirindukan itu telah kembali.
Ketika Bilal meneriakkan kata Asyhadu an laa ilaha illallah, seluruh isi kota madinah berlarian ke arah suara itu sambil berteriak, bahkan para gadis dalam pingitan mereka pun keluar.
Dan saat bilal mengumandangkan Asyhadu anna Muhammadan Rasulullah, Madinah pecah oleh tangisan dan ratapan yang sangat memilukan.
Semua menangis, teringat masa-masa indah bersama Rasulullah, Umar bin Khattab yang paling keras tangisnya. Bahkan Bilal sendiri pun tak sanggup meneruskan adzannya, lidahnya tercekat oleh air mata yang berderai. Hari itu madinah mengenang masa saat masih ada Rasulullah diantara mereka.
Hari itu adalah adzan pertama dan terakhir bagi Bilal setelah Rasulullah wafat. Adzan yang tak bisa dirampungkan.
Subhanallah...
kisah diatas ini mampu mencampur adukkan perasaan kita.
Mampu membuat kita menitikkan airmata tanda kecintaan kita kepada Rasulullah Shallallaahu ‘Alaihi Wasallaam, sebagaimana cinta kita pula kepada umat Muhammad.
Itulah pentingnya ukhuwah...
karena ukhuwah itu merupakan penanda keimanan kita.
