To pull out of Paris but keep the United States involved in the broader UNFCCC process would take more than three years, but withdrawing from the entire framework would be easier—though the backlash for doing so could be even stronger. Ton
The ton is a unit of measure. It has a long history and has acquired a number of meanings and uses over the years. It is used principally as a unit of mass. Its original use as a measurement of volume has continued in the capacity of cargo ships and in terms such as the freight ton. It can also be used as a measure of energy, for truck classification, or as a colloquial term.
It is derived from the tun, the term applied to a barrel of the largest size. This could contain a volume between 175 and 213 imperial gallons (210 and 256 US gal), which could weigh around 2,000 pounds (910 kg) and occupy some 60 cubic feet (1.7 m3) of space.
In the United Kingdom the ton is defined as 2,240 pounds (1,016 kg) (avoirdupois pounds). From 1965 the UK embarked upon a programme of metrication and gradually introduced metric units, including the tonne (metric ton), defined as 1000 kg (2,204.6 lbs). The UK Weights and Measures Act 1985 explicitly excluded from use for trade many units and terms, including the ton and the term "metric ton" for "tonne".

Buju Banton
Buju Banton (born Mark Anthony Myrie 15 July 1973) is a Jamaican dancehall, ragga, and reggae musician. Banton has recorded pop and dance songs, as well as songs dealing with sociopolitical topics.
He released early dancehall singles in 1991, but came to prominence in 1992 with two albums, including Mr. Mention, which became the best-selling album in Jamaican history upon its release. Banton signed with major label Mercury Records and released Voice of Jamaica the following year. By the mid-1990s, Banton had converted to the Rastafari faith, and his music undertook a more spiritual tone. His 2010 album Before the Dawn won Best Reggae Album at the 53rd annual Grammy Awards.
Banton gained international notoriety for the anti-gay track "Boom Bye Bye" early on in his career, as well as for his 2009 arrest and conviction in the United States on drug conspiracy and firearms charges, for which he is currently serving a ten-year federal prison sentence. He is scheduled to be released in December 2018.

A music video or song video is a short film integrating a song and imagery, produced for promotional or artistic purposes. Modern music videos are primarily made and used as a marketing device intended to promote the sale of music recordings. There are also cases where songs are used in tie in marketing campaigns that allow them to become more than just a song. Tie ins and merchandising could be used in toys are marketing campaigns for food and other products. Although the origins of music videos date back to musical short films that first appeared in the 1920s, they came into prominence in the 1980s when MTV based their format around the medium. Prior to the 1980s, these works were described by various terms including "illustrated song", "filmed insert", "promotional (promo) film", "promotional clip", "promotional video", "song video", "song clip" or "film clip". Since the creation and increased popularity of YouTube, mainstream artists now promote new music videos by releasing trailers of short promos on the site for their upcoming song and music video. Consequentially, YouTube has been converted into a social media platform for celebrities and artists to market themselves to their fans and audiences.

These seemingly contrasting elements are tied together by a thick, sweet syrup like bassline underbelly. The end result? A bulbous late night strut-out that defies any formal categorisations.
Won Ton Crystal continues this rich vein of form as rigidly edited vocals and sinewy synth shots bounce off each other with stripped back serendipity. For added melodic firepower pay close attention to the buoyant bassline. Refusing to sit still, it adds an insatiable sense of latent, knowing funk.

You won't believe the amazing street food here in Kolkata. Indian street food and Indian cuisine is so diverse, and all over the streets of India, you can find so many varieties of Indian spices and flavours. In this video, Myself (Trevor James, The Food Ranger) and Ting are going DEEP for street food in Kolkata, trying some AMAZING Bengali Street Foods in Kolkata, and some AMAZING curry and biryani rice.
You can eat amazing spicy and flavourful mutton biryani rice, some super sweet and saffron packed chai tea, a ton of delicious street foods like the Kathi roll and a ton of specialties on deckers lane.
To start our street food tour, we woke up early in the morning to have an Indian Breakfast, an Indian street food breakfast! We went to a local tea shop to have some chai tea and a super delicious potato curry, known as a sabzi, and a flavourful kachori to dip it in! Watching the Indian restaurants and street food stalls like this in action, preparing and cooking the Indian recipes that have been done like this for generations is simply amazing!
After tasting that saffron and sugar packed chai, along with the amazing potato vegetarian curry, we kept exploring the back streets of Kolkata to try and eat the best street foods of Kolkata.
Here, you can travel to India just for the food, and that's exactly what we did!
After the tea, we went to find some classic Bengali street foods on the street corners, and found a super flavourful bhel puri AKA puffed rice with a spicy mango chutney! This was actually very sour and spicy and so delicious!
We then continued traveling in Kolkata's busy and spice scented streets for more delicious foods, and found the amazing hot kathi roll.
This is marinated chicken in a ton of spice and yoghurt, wrapped up in a freshly fried paratha that's covered in a couple eggs, almost like an omelette, a HUGE omelette over top of the paratha! Then the paratha is wrapped up right on the street and you can taste the amazing flavors!
After that, we enjoyed a walk through the busy streets of Kolkata and made our way to deckers lane, the most iconic heritage street food mecca of Kolkata, to try an amazing and spice packed chicken stew. It was quite peppery and delicious!
After a quick walk and one street orange juice later, we arrived at Arsalan biryani rice and curry Indian restaurant to taste the famous mutton biryani and also try the amazing selection of spicy Indian curries. These bengali specialties were simply delicious, a MUST try thing here in Kolkata.

The movie is based on the life of a gursikh professor who comes to INDIA with lots of aspirations and feelings for his heritage and culture, as he had to leave the country during 1984. But as soon as he enters the city he comes across a very different environment and culture among sikh youth. Also few incidents occured which left him in shock and made him to find out what that reason was which shook the roots of sikhi in mere 20-25 years and which took more than 500 years for our Guru Sahibaan and Gursikhs to nurture.
"Proud to be a sikh" is about the journey of that gursikh professor in making sikh youngsters aware and feel proud for their identity and rich heritage , the difficulties he faced during this journey, and how he emerges victorious in the end.
"Proud to be a sikh" is about clarifying the society the true image of a sikh and not the one which they have projected in their minds based on false media propaganda and other misunderstandings.
"Proud to be a sikh" is about the lifestyle of a true khalsa in which he displays both the qualities of being a saint and sipahi in required conditions.

Laos: On the Borders of the Empire - People and Power
Mandarin is the language of choice among its residents and on its street signs and advertising hoardings; clocks are set to Beijing time in homes, stores and even municipal buildings; and the Yuan is by far and away the most common currency.
Any overseas visitors dropping in to Ton Pheung could be excused for thinking themselves in China - albeit a slightly raunchy theme-park version with an unusual preponderance of massage parlours and nightclubs along its streets.
But Ton Pheung is actually in the far northwest of communist Laos - on the border with China, but still in name, if increasingly not in reality, a sovereign district of the Lao People's Democratic Republic.
Yet few here see it that way.
Over the past decade, Chinese investors have moved in, building shopping malls and casinos and glitzy hotel complexes and importing a way of life that is a long way from the traditional norms in Laos - an impoverished landlocked nation where 80 percent of the population still scrape a living from small-scale farming.
And the enclave is far from being an isolated case. One by one, communities across northern Laos are gradually taking on the appearance of de facto Chinese dependencies.
Tourism, transport, property, energy, high-intensity agriculture … with the blessing of the Laos government, China has set out to develop, some say exploit, the potential of its hard-pressed neighbour.
Given the country's desperate need for foreign investment, the Laotian authorities clearly believe that the economic advantages of the relationship outweigh any drawbacks of surrendering sovereignty.
But critics say the consequences for the indigenous population of this unbridled, spill-over capitalism are truly dire - ranging from gambling, prostitution and illicit trade in the newly urbanised border communities to widespread land expropriation, deforestation and pollution in the rural hinterland.
Furthermore, the profits and benefits of all this activity flow back to the Chinese rather than to the locals.
So is it possible that this former French colony, South Asia's poorest state, has given away too much? And will it ever be able to reconcile the needs of its people with the demands of its voracious benefactor? Filmmakers Gwenlaouen Le Gouil, Brice Lambert and Cedric Esteve went to Laos to find out.

Beginning with the earliest documentary, epigraphic, and archaeological evidence for the Armenian presence in the Holy Land, Dr. Terian's lecture will survey thehistory of the Armenian community in Jerusalem. He will review Jerusalem's liturgical, monastic, and theological contributions to the fledgling church in Armenia, as part of the rich heritage of this community that thrived through the centuries as the earliest of the Armenian diasporas. The lecture will conclude with a description of the present situation and a reflection on what the future holds for the community and the historic Patriarchate.
Dr. Abraham Terian, who grew up in Jerusalem and whose earlier Graduate education was in archeology and history of antiquity, is Professor Emeritus of Armenian Theology and Patristics at St. Nersess Armenian Seminary, New Rochelle, New York. Prior to teaching at St. Nersess, he was Professor of Intertestamental and Early Christian Literatures at Andrews University for twenty years, and for four years a recurring Visiting Professor for Armenian and Hellenistic Studies at the University of Chicago. He is an internationally renowned expert in the fields of Hellenistic, early Christian and Armenian theological literature, fields in which he has published extensively. In 2005 he became the first recipient of the Fulbright Distinguished Chair in the Humanities award by the Fulbright Foundation, the Council for International Exchange of Scholars (CIES) of the US Department of State, and the US--Israel Educational Foundation (US--IEF).
In 2008 he was elected a Fellow of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia. He now lives in Fresno, California, with his wife Sara.

In this episode of Roadkill powered by Dodge, David Freiburger and Mike Finnegan head to Colorado Auto & Parts in Englewood, Colorado, and visit the Corns family—builders of the crazy radial-Cessna-powered 1939 Plymouth truck you’ve seen all over the Internet and in Roadkill magazine. Colorado Auto is a giant you-pull-it yard with heritage back to 1959—with a good stash of vintage cars that have been there for decades. One of them was a 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1 that had been melting into the ground since 1980. But 37 years of neglect are not daunting to Roadkill, so the guys figure out how to get it running and driving. First, they’ve got to deal with 37 years of raccoon poop, which is just part of bringing the Disgustang into the Roadkill fleet of project cars.
