Haleʻiwa is a North Shore community and census-designated place (CDP) in the Waialua District of the island of Oʻahu, City and County of Honolulu. Haleʻiwa is located on Waialua Bay, the mouth of Anahulu Stream (also known as Anahulu River). A small boat harbor is located here, and the shore of the bay is surrounded by Haleʻiwa Beach Park (north side) and Haleʻiwa Aliʻi Beach Park (south side). Further west from the center of town is Kaiaka State Recreation Area on Kiaka Point beside Kaiaka Bay. As of the 2010 census, the CDP had a population of 3,970. It is the largest commercial center on the North Shore of the island. Its old plantation town character is preserved in many of the buildings, making this a popular destination for tourists and residents alike, visiting surfing and diving sites along the north shore.
The U.S. postal code for Haleʻiwa, including Kawailoa, is 96712.
Haleʻiwa is located at 21°35'24" North, 158°6'50" West (21.590050, -158.113928), southwest along Kamehameha Highway (State route 83) from Pūpūkea. At Haleʻiwa, Kamehameha Highway becomes state route 99 (at the traffic circle known as "Weed Circle"), which runs eastward up across the Oʻahu central plateau to Wahiawā. A new bypass route (Joseph P. Leong Highway) avoids both the traffic circle and Haleʻiwa, extending state route 83 to just north of Haleʻiwa town. Haleʻiwa Road and both Kaukonahua Road and Waialua Beach Road from Weed Circle go south and southwest into Waialua across Paukauila Stream.

Hawaii (English pronunciation: i/həˈwaɪʲi/ hə-WY-(y)ee; locally, [həˈwɐ(ɪ)ʔi]; Hawaiian: Hawaiʻi [həˈvɐjʔi]) is the 50th and most recent state of the United States of America, receiving statehood on August 21, 1959. Hawaii is the only U.S. state located in Oceania and the only one composed entirely of islands. It is the northernmost island group in Polynesia, occupying most of an archipelago in the central Pacific Ocean. Hawaii is the only U.S. state not located in the Americas. The state does not observe daylight saving time.
The state encompasses nearly the entire volcanic Hawaiian archipelago, which comprises hundreds of islands spread over 1,500 miles (2,400 km). At the southeastern end of the archipelago, the eight main islands are—in order from northwest to southeast: Niʻihau, Kauaʻi, Oʻahu, Molokaʻi, Lānaʻi, Kahoʻolawe, Maui and the Island of Hawaiʻi. The last is the largest island in the group; it is often called the "Big Island" or "Hawaiʻi Island" to avoid confusion with the state or archipelago. The archipelago is physiographically and ethnologically part of the Polynesian subregion of Oceania.
North Shore can either be the north shore of a landmass (and the south shore of a body of water), or the north shore of a body of water (and the south shore of a landmass). It may refer to:
The Miss World pageant is the oldest surviving major international beauty pageant. It was created in the United Kingdom by Eric Morley in 1951. Since his death in 2000, Morley's widow, Julia Morley, has co-chaired the pageant. Alongside with its rival, the Miss Universe and Miss Earth contests, Miss World pageant is one of the three most publicised beauty contests in the world.
The current Miss World is Mireia Lalaguna of Spain who was crowned on 19 December 2015 in Sanya, China PR.
In 1951, Eric Morley organised a bikini contest as part of the Festival of Britain celebrations which he called the Festival Bikini Contest. The event was popular with the press, and was dubbed "Miss World" by the media. The swimsuit competition was intended as a promotion for the bikini which had only recently been introduced onto the market, and which was still widely regarded as immodest. When the 1951 Miss World pageant winner, Kerstin "Kiki" Hakansson from Sweden, was crowned in a bikini, it added to the controversy.

Kaʻena or Kaena Point is the westernmost tip of land on the island of Oʻahu. The point can be reached on foot from both the East (via Oʻahu's North Shore / Mokulēʻia) and Southeast (via Waiʻanae Coast). An unimproved track extends some 3 miles (4.8 km) along the coast from the end of the paved road on the east side, where a gate prevents entry of all except authorized vehicles. On the southeast side, at Kaʻena State Park, a paved road passes a beach before terminating into an unpaved road. It continues for a few miles, after which the road is washed out, and further travel must be on foot. It is not possible to travel around the point in a vehicle as the route is better described as a "path" in most places, and is lined on one side with a cliff and on the other with basalt rocks which are quite capable of damaging vehicles.
In Hawaiian, kaʻena means 'the heat'. The area was named after a brother or cousin of Pele who accompanied her from Kahiki. The State of Hawaiʻi has designated the point as a Natural Area Reserve to protect nesting Laysan Albatrosses and wedge-tailed Shearwaters, Hawaiian monk seals, and the fragile (to vehicular traffic) native strand vegetation that has been restored there.

We had a nice relaxing day, with no plans and so this travel vlog is about how our day unfolded. As we were driving to on our way to find the Paalaa Kai bakery, by chance it happened to be Saturday, and on Saturday there is the Waialua farmer’s market. So we pulled in and stopped to see what they had. It was very small, not much available, but there was some good vegetables and fruits available and what I noticed was a man selling poke. So I bought a box of poke for $10 and as I ordered it, he mixed it all up with all the seasoning right then a...
If you plan to visit Oahu, then you must visit the town of Haleiwa on the North Shore. It's great little town away out in the country with restaurants, food trucks, clothing outlets and more. It really embodies the relaxed mellow vibe of the Oahu's North Shore. It's also close to some of the best beaches in the world - Waimea Bay, Pipeline, and Sunset Beach. Many tourist will wait up to an hour for some of Matsumoto's Shave Ice. There are other shave ice options in Haleiwa, but Matsumoto has their own blend of syrups which makes them simply ono. Surfing Haleiwa, North Shore Hawaii the afternoon of January 5th, 2016.
There are so many delicious foods to eat when you are in Hawaii. And one of the most famous things to eat when you drive around the north shore of the island, is at one of the many shrimp trucks. There are quite a few different trucks to choose from, and there's a huge debate as to which one is the best. But among the handful of different shrimp truck options, one of the most famous is Giovanni's Shrimp Truck. I have driven past this shrimp truck in Kahuku many times, but for some reason I have never stopped before to eat there. One reason is because, I would normally fill up on other plate lunches or Hawaiian poke from Kahuku Superette (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DIvn7n7cIeQ) before ever arriving at one of the famous shrimp trucks. But little did I know, there is now a second branch...

Pastor Mike Stangel of the North Shore Christian Fellowship in Haleiwa Hawaii gives a fantastic message about being willing. Jesus is asked to heal a person with leprosy and is willing, see Mark 1:40-45. Are you ready to turn away from your sin and help others do the same? Great analogy of how sin eats away at you spiritually the way leprosy eats away at your flesh, with pictures and stories. Check it out!
I've lost my mind yeah, I've lost control
I've the lost the feeling in my arms, I'm a lost soul
Make the most of me baby, oh don't spit me out
This is how dirty girls get clean, don't leave me now
Listen to her lust, yeah, hear her disgrace
Listen to the fragile things as they all break
Watch from the covers, the comfort of your home
Through the ice and sleet baby, oh down down we go
What angry star runs your devil heart?
What angry star runs your devil heart?
Oh oh, how'd you get so mean?
This is the only way d-dirty girls stay clean
And I wanted you like no one before
Said you're coming back for me honey
This is how hell forms
This is how a storm begins
This is how trouble's born
Listen to sleep
Listen to her wail
You've given birth to terrible things, watch them unveil
Listen to my torment
Listen to my pain
Please come on back here baby, let me try again
What angry star runs your devil heart?
What angry star runs your devil heart?
Oh oh, how'd you get so mean?
This is the only way d-dirty girls stay clean
And the rain it poured down
And the wind it moaned
And she wrapped her legs around him
And she's got no home
And he's looking at me, oh god he looks so dumb
What are you staring at? This is how it's done
I will define for you, the meaning of greed
While you were vanishing, this dirty girl got clean
What angry star runs your devil heart?
What angry star runs your devil heart?
Oh oh, how'd you get so mean?
This is the only way d-dirty girls stay clean
Oh oh, how'd you get so mean?
This is the only way d-dirty girls stay clean
Oh oh, how'd you get so mean?
