Kunjikoonan may refer to:
Dhanya Veena, better known by her stage name Navya Nair, is an Indian actress who works in Malayalam, Tamil, and Kannada films. She is well established in Malayalam. She is two time recipient of Kerala State Film Award for Best Actress and Kalaimamani award.
Navya Nair was born on 14 October 1985 to Raju & Veena Raju who hails from Cheppad, a village near Harippad in Alleppey District. The film director K. Madhu is her uncle. She studied at Bethany Balikamadom High School, Nangiarkulangara till 10th grade and then at MSM Higher Secondary School, where her mother was a teacher. She married Mumbai-based businessman, Santhosh Menon, on 21 January 2010 and they have a son Sai Krishna, born on 22 November 2010.
She was still at school when offered her first film role, starring opposite Dileep in Ishtam in 2001. There followed roles in partnership with Dileep, in films such as Mazhathullikkilukkam, Kunjikoonan, Kalyanaraman, Pandippada, Gramaphone and Pattanathil Sundaran.
Salim Ahmed Ghoush (22 April 1951 – 2 February 2010), better known by his stage name Cochin Haneefa, was an Indian film actor, director, and screenwriter. He started his career in the 1970s mainly portraying villainous roles, before going on to become one of the most popular comedians of Malayalam cinema. He has acted in more than 300 films in Malayalam, Tamil and Hindi.
As a director he is best known for the films Aankiliyude Tharattu (1987) and Valtsalyam (1993).
Haneefa was born in Kochi to Kochi Velthedathu Tharavattil A.B. Muhammed and Hajira. He studied at Kochi St. Augustine's School and St. Albert's College and graduated with a degree in Botany. He was married to Fasila. The couple have twins, Safa and Marva.
He was a member of the famed comedy troupe Cochin Kalabhavan, whose members included Jayaram, Kalabhavan Mani, Harisree Ashokan, Salim Kumar, and Bindhu Panicker. He made his film debut in 1972 in Azhimukham directed by Vijayan and went on to act in over 300 films in Malayalam. He also acted in over 80 Tamil films, including popular movies like Mahanadi with Kamal Haasan,Sivaji and Enthiran with Rajinikanth.

Mohan Sithara, is a Malayalam film music composer. He received Kerala state award for the songs in Priyanandan's "Sufi Paranja Kadha". Since 1986 he is an active musician in Malayalam film industry. He is talented in putting Western, Classical and Folk styles in his songs which attracts more audience to hear his songs. He has worked with famous lyricists and poets like O. N. V Kurup, Yusufali Kechery, Sreekumaran Thampi, P K Gopi, Kunjumoitheen Kutty, Kaithapram Damodaran Namboothiri, Rafeeq Ahmed, Rajeev Aalunkal, S. Ramesan Nair, B R Prasad, Vinayan, Bharanikkavu Sivakumar, Anil Panachooran, Vayalar Sarath Chandra Varma, Gireesh Puthenchery, Bichu Thirumala etc. Almost, every singers had been part of his songs namely K. J. Yesudas, P. Jayachandran, K. S. Chithra, Sujatha Mohan, Madhu Balakrishnan, G. Venugopal, M. G. Sreekumar, Vidhu Prathap, Afsal, Manjari, Jyotsna Radhakrishnan,swarnalatha, Sheelamani, Biju Narayanan, Priya R Pai and Poornasree among others.
