Tenix was commissioned to design and build Victoria's largest underground Water Recycling Facility and associated infrastructure in Yarra Park, adjacent to the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG).
The $24 million scheme, funded by the Melbourne Cricket Club and the Victorian Government, treats sewage from the local sewerage network to 'Class A' recycled water standards. The treated water is used primarily to irrigate Yarra Park and nearby Punt Road Oval, as well as for cleaning and toilet-flushing at the MCG.
The plant is able to produce over 600 kilolitres of recycled water per day and the scope provided by Tenix represents about two-thirds of the overall value of the scheme.

Yarra Park
Yarra Park (35.469 hectares) is part of the Melbourne Sports and Entertainment Precinct, the premier sporting precinct of Victoria, Australia. Located in Yarra Park is the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) and numerous sporting fields and ovals, including the associated sporting complexes of Melbourne & Olympic Parks. The park and sporting facilities are located in the inner-suburb of East Melbourne. In the late 1850s, many of the earliest games of Australian rules football were played at Yarra Park, which was known at the time as the Richmond Paddock.
Tree-lined paths run parallel to Punt Road and Swan Street, and criss-cross the park. Some of the lawns are used for parking for sporting events. Two footbridges allow pedestrians and cyclists to cross the railway lines to the different sporting venues and easy access to the Yarra River Trail.
Around the MCG are sculptures of Australian sporting heroes including: Australian rules footballers Ron Barassi and Dick Reynolds; cricketers Sir Donald Bradman and Keith Miller; athletics "golden girl" Betty Cuthbert. Nearby is an old eucalyptus scar tree which shows a big scar caused by harvesting of bark for a canoe by the original inhabitants of the Yarra River Valley, the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin nation.

Starting north of Mitcham the trails follows the Mullum Mullum Creek and the Yarra River to Melbourne CBD. The trail is partly sealed, partly unsealed and leads trough bushland, grassland and a few parks of Melbourne's Eastern Suburbs. It includes a few minor ascents and magnificent city views. There is one cut for hydration purposes.... Brighton Baths To Studley Park Boathouse, Victoria Australia - 70km Recumbent Trike Ride Tour
** Warning - accidental swearing on song lyrics around 25:00. Apologies and pls mute if easily offended ** An epic all day recumbent ride. We first run along the beach, then past Albert Park Lake, then along the Yarra River. The trail ends and we expectedly ride our trikes into a 'lift', visit several Cafes, have lunch at Studley Park Boathouse and use a 'floating cycleway' on our return trip before watching the sun go down at a St Kilda bar. Over 70km today. Great fun!

On Sunday 6th January 2013, 6 cyclists from Hume BUG rode from the Moonee Ponds Creek Trail junction with the Metropolitan Ring Road Path to the Main Yarra Trail, Gardiners Creek Trail, and Scotchmans Creek Trail, to Jells Park. Five cyclsits returned on alternative Scotchmans Creek Trail routes to Gardiners Creek Trail, Anniversary Trail to the Capital City Trail and finished at Kensington Station. This is an unedited compilation of videos of the ride.
