Following the ECU flash, I observed much higher IAT's during pulls. High IAT's are dangerous, among other things they are the reason of the timing corrections which limit the performance - in critical situations they can result in limp mode and leave the car inoperable. For that reason, intake air temperature needs to be lowered. There are several ways to do this, but the cheapest and the most effective is to install bigger than factory intercooler. This video shows the process of the installation of the aftermarket, 6" intercooler that is twice the volume of the oem, 4.3" one. Some cutting, some welding was needed, but nothing major. Witam Projekt praktycznie skończony, niestety chińskie MBC musi wypaść i mamy już zamówione nowe. Jak to bywa z projektami robionymi po godzinach wieczny brak czasu na konkretne testy, ale przede wszystkim TDS jeszcze się nie rozleciał co już jest dużym plusem. Trochę miesza nam szyki skrzynia biegów która "ma swoje lata" i nie jest już tak jurna jak młody byk. Icek z busa robi konkretną robotę. Jeszcze raz dzięki chłopakom z HP-Performance szczególnie Michałowi za zrobienie remapu oraz rozmowę. Pozdrawiam!
