Blue Buffalo, makers of natural, healthy dog and cat food started the Blue Buffalo Foundation for Cancer Research (B.B.F.C.R.) after their namesake and founding dog-father was diagnosed with pet cancer. The B.B.F.C.R. was created to help find a cure for the #1 disease-related killer of dogs and cats, as well as provide funds to the families impacted by this terrible disease.

Since 2006 - The Blue Buffalo Foundation for Cancer Research has supported the Morris Animal Foundation’s breakthrough research studies around the world. Nine years and nearly $6 million later, the BBFCR has become a platinum partner in the Morris Animal Foundation’s groundbreaking Golden Retriever Lifetime Study and Osteosarcoma Initiative. Through this dynamic partnership, BBFCR hopes to help eradicate pet cancer and preserve the well-being of our furry friends everywhere.

Since 2009, The Orvis Company and its customers have supported to Morris Animal Foundation through its on-line Cover Dog Photo contest to help fund Canine Cancer studies. Each year, thousands of Future Professionals and staff members from Paul Mitchell Schools donate their time, talent, and energy to support a variety of charitable causes. Over the past 10 years, their annual, three-month-long "FUNraising" campaign has raised over $13 million through bake sales, fashion shows, cut-a-thons, grassroots outreach, and countless other activities and events to support philanthropic efforts. Paul Mitchell Schools has supported Morris Animal Foundation since 2011, raising over $550,000. John Paul Mitchell has supported Morris Animal Foundation since 2011.

This year, John Paul Pet, a leading grooming and hygiene product line dedicated to the proper care of all pets, has teamed up with Helping Tales Publishers on a new coloring and activity book, Cooper: A Rescue Dog’s Tale. Cooper’s heartwarming true story aims to help children better understand pet rescue and can be purchased through Amazon. The Petco Foundation has served as a voice for companion animals across the country since 1999. Each year, we help animal-welfare organizations find lifelong, loving homes for millions of orphaned pets, as well as fund spay and neuter efforts, animal assisted therapy programs and humane education.

Since 2010 The Petco Foundation has donated over $3,200,000 through its May Pet Cancer Awareness Month Campaign. These dollars will fund Morris Animal Foundation’s Canine Health studies. Petco is Platinum Partner of the Golden Retriever Lifetime Study.

Petplan has supported Morris Animal Foundation since 2011.  Petplan sponsors the Morris Animal Foundation K9 Cancer Walk series by providing the walk goodie bag for participants and hosts Morris Animal Foundation educational articles in fetch! magazine.  Petplan expanded their support to include a sympathy card program.  Petplan makes a $12 donation to Morris Animal Foundation for every policyholder whose four-legged family member has passed away.
