In this video, you will learn how to pitch cards like you see poker dealers do in casinos. A couple of benefits from learning this correctly include dealing more hands per hour and avoiding different types of arthritis that result from a lot of dealing. Below are the pitch concepts discussed in the video.
Elbows in by your sides.
Palms face the ceiling, for the most part.
Angle (bevel) the cards in the deck slightly.
Fingers on the side of the deck stay at the same level as the deck itself.
Two types of pitches are taught in this video.
The primary pitch pushes the card partly off the deck. You grab the card with your thumb and index finger near the top corner of the card. Your middle finger finds its comfortable divot. Your middle finger projects the card. One of the challenges is learning the timing of when to release the card with the thumb and index finger and when to project the card with the middle finger.
The secondary pitch pushes the card out farther off the deck, and the thumb and index fingers grab the card more toward the middle of the card. This method gives slightly more control over bad cards or in tough situations.
For both pitches, turn your body in your chair to pitch in different directions as opposed to turning your arms.

With the new expansion coming up soon I'm more psyched to get as much TCGO practice as possible. Got the whole Zekrom + Tynamo thing going on. This one is a little bit more serious than the other builds I had before with Hypno and Cofagrigus. I just need PokeGears & Sage's Training SO BADLY. I mean to the point where I would buy like 30 packs hoping to get as much as possible. We have 2 great games here! Enjoy guys! :]

Pitch is an American trick-taking card game derived from the English game of All Fours (Seven Up). Historically, Pitch started as "Blind All Fours", a very simple All Fours variant that is still played in England as a pub game. The modern game involving a bidding phase and setting back a party's score if the bid is not reached came up in the middle of the 19th century and is more precisely known as Auction Pitch or Setback. Pitch was allegedly invented by eight men during a deer hunting trip in Mayfield, Kentucky. One of the eight men, Ernest Ray Cole, reported that the men were snowed in during the hunting trip in a log cabin and had nothing better to do with themselves. Ernest, though a boy at the time, was likely in attendance with his father, Pleasant Grant Cole and possibly on the property of Robert or Thomas Cole, brothers who at one time had adjacent properties in the latter half of the 19th century (Reference = Mayfield County Property Records and Deeds, Clerk of Courts, Mayfield, KY). Unlike most Kentucky winters, the hunters could not hunt at dusk or dawn because the weather was so bad that it was "pitch black" (as black as tar pitch from a tree) outside most of the time, and difficult to see even when the sun did shine. Hence the name of the game "pitch."

A card game is any game using playing cards as the primary device with which the game is played, be they traditional or game-specific. Countless card games exist, including families of related games (such as poker). A small number of card games played with traditional decks have formally standardized rules, but most are folk games whose rules vary by region, culture, and person.
Many games that are not generally placed in the family of card games do in fact use cards for some aspect of their gameplay. Similarly, some games that are placed in the card game genre involve a board. The distinction is that the gameplay of a card game primarily depends on the use of the cards by players (the board is simply a guide for scorekeeping or for card placement), while board games (the principal non-card game genre to use cards) generally focus on the players' positions on the board, and use the cards for some secondary purpose.
A card game is played with a deck or pack of playing cards which are identical in size and shape. Each card has two sides, the face and the back. Normally the backs of the cards are indistinguishable. The faces of the cards may all be unique, or there can be duplicates. The composition of a deck is known to each player. In some cases several decks are shuffled together to form a single pack or shoe.

In this video, you will learn how to pitch cards like you see poker dealers do in casinos. A couple of benefits from learning this correctly include dealing more hands per hour and avoiding different types of arthritis that result from a lot of dealing. Below are the pitch concepts discussed in the video.
Elbows in by your sides.
Palms face the ceiling, for the most part.
Angle (bevel) the cards in the deck slightly.
Fingers on the side of the deck stay at the same level as the deck itself.
Two types of pitches are taught in this video.
The primary pitch pushes the card partly off the deck. You grab the card with your thumb and index finger near the top corner of the card. Your middle finger finds its comfortable divot. Your middle finger projects the card. One of the challenges is learning the timing of when to release the card with the thumb and index finger and when to project the card with the middle finger.
The secondary pitch pushes the card out farther off the deck, and the thumb and index fingers grab the card more toward the middle of the card. This method gives slightly more control over bad cards or in tough situations.
For both pitches, turn your body in your chair to pitch in different directions as opposed to turning your arms.

A bull showed some fancy foot work after it brought a juniors match to a halt when it invaded the pitch. During the game played in Maryborough, Queensland, the animal showed it could really moo-ve when it raced on to the field and made straight for one player who was thankfully agile enough to sidestep the beast as it came hurtling at him. No-one was hurt during the under-15 match between Sunbury and Fraser Flames, as both teams and fans took a break from play to get out of the animal’s way when it careered towards them -

OBJECT: Score the most points convincing the Producer to vote for your Title Cards pitched to meet the selected Premise Card for a new Anime TV series. RULES: Each player takes turns as the Producer who selects 2 Premise Cards from 5 available. Then each player picks up to 4 Title cards from their hand of 10 and explains/pitches how their Title Cards meets the Premise Cards selected by the current Producer. The Producer then selects the pitch he/she likes the most and that player receives 2 points. The game ends when each player has been the Producer an equal number of times; e.g., in a 3 player game, each player is the Producer 4 times. -
