LEAP YEAR SPECIAL: This building will be abandoned soon! Tour of the elevators - a trip back to the 70s. Very nice old STAHL elevators in here The AVZ III used to be a seperate university in the past and was included to the Friedrich-Wilhelms-University later on. This has got a building made in the 60s. This got extended in the 70s to what it is today. Several floors in this building got evacuated due to a PCB contamination. This happened to floors 2-6 and 9-11, which is the top floors. Floors 7-8 and K, S, E, 1 are still used. There are six elevators in the main building and one old modernized in the old one. Old modernized Häfelein & Windeck-lift in the old building: x This elevator used to have a swing doors and no inner doors. Later on it got some innerdoors. In 2002, the doors got replaced by automatic ones. Same to the buttons. The rest of the cab is still original. The motor also appears as original. Nice. Stahl-Zaiser lifts 1 and 2 in the 70s building: x these used to be large, but these got a wall installed in the cab, reducing the available space! The inner fixtured got replaced. I don't like that. Lift 2 wasn't working and it will not return back into service, somebody told me that. Large Stahl-Zaiser locked off elevator 3 in the 70s building: x This used to be included in the set, but then it got new call locks and runs independently. You need a key to call this elevator right now. And all floors inside are locked aswell. There are three locks in them. They lock the public floors (K-1), floors 7-8 and the contaminated floors 2-6 and 9-11. The inner panels got changed a lot of times and now it has got many seperated parts. Small Stahl-Zaiser lift 4 in the 70s building: x This elevator is still part of the set, but it is smaller and it was never larger than it is now. Elevator 4 runs in the same shaft as elevator 5, so it is half size. This also needs a key for floors 7-8. Small Stahl-Zaiser locked off elevator 5: x This elevator is shutdown forever and will be removed. It got walled off at some floors. When it was in use, it was locked off and reserved for Professor's use only. This elevator never was part of the set, it used to run independently. I don't know any more about this elevator. Das AVZ III war früher eine eigenständige Hochschule, bekannt als Pädagogische Fakultät. Die Bushaltestelle vor dem Gebäude, bedient von den Linien 551, 600 und 601 heißt noch heute so. Das Gebäude besteht aus einem Altbau der 60er-Jahre und einem großen Anbau der 70er mit 11 Obergeschossen. Einige Etagen wurden wegen einer sehr hohen PCB-Belastung evakuiert. Das betrifft die Etagen 2-6 und die oberen Stockwerke 9-11. Diese Etagen sind nur noch mit dem Lastenaufzug ansteuerbar und dazu braucht es einen besonderen Schlüssel. Das Gebäude enthält sechs Aufzüge und das sind sie: Alter Häfelein & Windeck-Aufzug, modernisiert: x Dieser Aufzug hatte früher eine Außendrehtür und keine Innentüren. Dann wurden Innentüren eingebaut. 2002 schließlich wurde das Türsystem komplett ausgetauscht durch Automatiktüren und die Knöpfe ebenfalls. Die Kabine und der Motor scheinen jedoch sehr original zu sein. Schön! Stahl-Zaiser-Aufzüge 1 und 2 im 70er-Bau: x In diesen beiden Aufzügen wurde Wände in die Kabine eingesetzt, die den Platz verkleinern! Außerde wurden die Innentableaus ersetzt. Die Etagen 2-67 und 9-11 sind völlig blickoert, die Etagen 7-8 nur mit Schlüssel anfahrbar. Aufzug 2 ist außer Betrieb. Laut Info eines Mitarbeiters wird er nicht mehr repariert. Verschlossener Stahl-Zaiser-Aufzug 3, große Kabine Dieser Aufzug dient vorrangig als Lastenaufzug. Früher war er Teil der Aufzugsgruppe, wurde dann von ihr gelöst und bekam einen Ruf-Schlüsselschalter außen. Die Innensteuerung wurde gesperrt. Drei verschiedene Schlösser blockieren die öffentlichen Etagen K-1, die Etagen 7-8 und die kontaminierten Etagen 2-6 und 9-11. Das Innentableau wurde andauernd geändert und besteht heute aus unzähligen Einzelelementen. Kleiner Stahl-Zaiser-Aufzug 4 Dieser Aufzug ist Teil der Aufzugsgruppe. Er war schon immer so klein, wie er jetzt ist. Er teilt sich den Schacht mit Aufzug 5 und hat daher nur die halbe Größe. Auch er hat ein neues Innentableau. Verschlossener Stahl-Zaiser Professoren-Aufzug 5 Dieser Aufzug ist außer Betrieb genommen worden und auf einigen Etagen wurde er bereits mit Wänden abgedeckt. Dieser Aufzug ist Vergangenheit! Früher war er verschlossen und für die Professoren vorgesehen. Dieser Aufzug warnie Teil der Aufzugsgruppe, er fuhr einzeln.
