On a pale horse named death we ride, worshiping at the blight.

Tactfully I use medical training, dispose of the organs, their bodies cremated to ash.
My grave affliction.
An ode too the taint.
Fatal addiction.
My composure lacks deathly restraint.
I have abused your mistrust.
The line between the poison and cure seems to be the dose.
Misrepresenting those who put their life on the line.
Dealing death, no restraint. Anaesthetise pain.
As his blood salted the earth,
The fetid taste of pestilence is spawned in rebirth,
And as he revelled in the carrion,
His flesh contorted too become,
At one with the plague.
Death pre-curses rape.
Careful precision.
I explore their lesions for reasons, I can not explain.
Afflicted, addicted to death, the human stain.
With their bodies stacked high,
The most unholy & putrid of scents, escaping his lair.
This congealed mess of organs and flesh acting as sustenance, binding his body to hang.
Dealing in the most covert of sickening ways.
The town guard remembered, the death rate out numbered their graves.
The death count out numbered their graves.
With careful precision
I explore their lesions, for reasons I can not explain.
Afflicted, addicted to death, the human stain.
I won’t be caught
Is I that you sought,
playing the doctor or so that you thought.
A thump at the door, the guards they did knock.
The door he did lock, the cellar he looked for his victim, no where to be seen, the doctors gullet had been silently cut.
Bleeding profusely,
I crawl too my throne, this was my lives work.
Encrusted in blood and encircled by bones.
I feel at one,
The alluring stench of death,
Never has anything felt any better.
Though its a fierce disposition,
I signed my life unaware too the plague in return of this life.

GronkFest Short Film Festival & Competition
Competition held at the Central Institute Of Technology, Perth: for students at the Screen & Media [Film & Television] Media camp, held during week four of semester 1 2010.
Competition Rules:
The short film must be rated either G or PG and be suitable to be broadcast on free to air TV. Creative content was open to any genre, but must not exceed 4 minutes in duration. Film must be captured in sequence, utilising only in-camera editing capabilities. Film must be captured and submitted within a 4 hour timeframe. Film must contain some aspect of "DIRT".
This film was judged by lectures and industry professionals, winning for its cast & crew, top prize: "Best In Fest"

Bad Badtz-Maru (1993)
Bad Badtz-Maru (バッドばつ丸, Baddo batsu maru) is a male penguin with spiky hair. His birthday is April 1 (April Fool's Day). He is one of the few Sanrio characters that is marketed to both genders. In Japanese, "badtz" (batsu) is a term for "X", the cross signifying a wrong answer. "Maru" means circle or "O", and signifies a correct answer. Thus, his name figuratively means "wrong-correct," and is frequently represented by "XO". Badtz-Maru has many different facial expressions and poses, but a common expression is of pulling one eye down and sticking out his tongue, a gesture equivalent to blowing a raspberry.

1000 Words: A Silent Interview on Self-Worth, is finally ready to be watched and shared with the world. I couldn't be more pleased with how this project has turned out! Although 23 girls/women, ages 4-92, were interviewed, we have selected only a handful for the short film. All others are featured on blog posts on http://www.bedheadmom.com. Born in 1979, Kook Ewo is a Paris-based title designer and director, who first came to prominence with his work on Silent Hill. He has since directed commercials and shorts films. His main titles, including Splice, Fracture, Solomon Kane and most recently, Silent Hill: Revelation. Ewo is also a teacher at Goblins School of the Image (Paris' school of Visual Arts) in the Motion Design section. SILENT MEMORIES is an ongoing project by photographer Daniela Rodriguez, about the lives of migrants in Australia living with dementia. It explores issues such as cultural isolation, language barriers, and the stigma of nursing homes in multicultural families. This mini documentary includes still images and video. The still images reflect on memory and migration, and how their cultural heritage is vastly different to the situation they find themselves in. The video interview aims to address how the families deal with having to place their parent into a facility that is completely foreign to them, and how they deal the stigma of nursing homes, which is so prevalent in multicultural communities. 1000 Words: A Silent Interview on Self-Worth, is finally ready to be watched and shared with the world. I couldn't be more pleased with how this project has turned out! Although 23 girls/women, ages 4-92, were interviewed, we have selected only a handful for the short film. All others are featured on blog posts on http://www.bedheadmom.com.
We all know how powerful a picture can be. Hence the phrase: a picture is worth a 1000 words. And in the same breath we all know how moving a film can be. The concept for this project is the marriage of the two mediums: the moving picture and the silence of a still image. What was born of this marriage are images and feelings that are truly worth more than a thousand words. In fact, what you see and feel while watching it should spark a dialogue within yourself and with others.
When we set out to do these silent interviews on self-worth we didn't know if it would work. We didn't know if those being interviewed would be honest. We didn't know if you would even be able to know what they were thinking or feeling. And frankly, my husband said it would be boring and no one would watch it.
We found out that it was the opposite. If you pay attention, if you really listen to what those girls are saying, you will find yourself captivated by the drift of their glances, subtle nods and stares, but especially by their hearts.

We were also very fortunate to be able to interview Commander Tom Rieckens, a former Navy SEAL who brought a lot of perspective both for the reenactment and the narrative itself.

SILENT MEMORIES is an ongoing project by photographer Daniela Rodriguez, about the lives of migrants in Australia living with dementia. It explores issues such as cultural isolation, language barriers, and the stigma of nursing homes in multicultural families.
This mini documentary includes still images and video. The still images reflect on memory and migration, and how their cultural heritage is vastly different to the situation they find themselves in. The video interview aims to address how the families deal with having to place their parent into a facility that is completely foreign to them, and how they deal the stigma of nursing homes, which is so prevalent in multicultural communities.
The project began over a year ago when I started photographing Maria Celis, a Chilean, Spanish speaking migrant living with dementia. She migrated to Australia in 1983 and the little English she learnt has completely vanished with her illness. My research uncovered that…
“By 2050 it is estimated that the numbers of people from non-English speaking backgrounds who have dementia will more than triple from 35,549 to 119,582. This large increase will require an increase in ethno-specific services.” (Access Economics, 2009a)
This is an important issue, and one I believe needs to be highlighted to ensure that the multicultural aging population in Australia can access appropriate care, and quality of care.
Ask yourself: “What would it feel like t live in an aged facility and not be able to communicate with your carer?”
