Medius is a genus of moths of the Erebidae family.
The gluteal muscles are a group of three muscles which make up the buttocks: the gluteus maximus, gluteus medius and gluteus minimus. The three muscles originate from the ilium and sacrum and insert on the femur. The functions of muscles includes extension, abduction, external rotation and internal rotation of the hip joint.
The gluteus maximus is the largest and most superficial of the three gluteal muscles. It makes up a large portion of the shape and appearance of the hips. It is a narrow and thick fleshy mass of a quadrilateral shape, and forms the prominence of the nates. The gluteus medius is a broad, thick, radiating muscle, situated on the outer surface of the pelvis. It lies profund to the gluteus maximus and its posterior third is covered by the gluteus maximus, its anterior two-thirds by the gluteal aponeurosis, which separates it from the superficial fascia and integument. The gluteus minimus is the smallest of the three gluteal muscles and is situated immediately beneath the gluteus medius.
The human body is the entire structure of a human being and comprises a head, neck, trunk (which includes the thorax and abdomen), arms and hands, legs and feet. Every part of the body is composed of various types of cells, the fundamental unit of life.
At maturity, the estimated average number of cells in the body is given as 37.2 trillion. This number is stated to be of partial data and to be used as a starting point for further calculations. The number given is arrived at by totalling the cell numbers of all the organs of the body and cell types. The composition of the human body is made up of a number of certain elements including carbon, calcium and phosphorus.
The study of the human body involves anatomy and physiology. The human body can show anatomical non-pathological anomalies known as variations which need to be able to be recognised. Physiology focuses on the systems and their organs of the human body and their functions. Many systems and mechanisms interact in order to maintain homeostasis.

Plot: With the assassination of his rowdy and bawdy father King Philip in 336 BC, Alexander gathers up his Home-Boy Macedonians (30,000 or so) and crosses the Hellespont to strike Darius and the Persian Horde. The Persians, of course, torched the Acropolis three generations earlier. The Greeks (and Macedonians) never forgot. During his herculean 12-year odyssey, Alexander succeeds in creating a world empire from the Danube to the Indus. Ever the glorious conqueror, he shows not only military genius, but compassion for the conquered. Alexander's women (aside from his mother Olympias) include his life-long consort, Barsine, who takes him on erotic / chemical "trips". There is also Roxanne, the Bactrian princess / wannabe dancer, his possessive first wife and True Love. His second marriage to Stateira, Darius' clueless daughter, doesn't set well with Roxanne, which starts the tragic time-clock ticking. Roxanne opts into a regime-changing scenario-- orchestrated back in Athens by Demosthenes and Macedonian rivals.

This is because unless you are directly training it, the glute medius is going to have a tendency to get weak and dominated by the more heavily concentrated on muscles like the quads and hamstrings. In this video, I show you how to easily address the weakness in the glute medius muscle and three ways to progress the exercises depending on your current strength level. First thing you need to know is whether or not you have a glute medius that is too weak. If you get knee pain during squats or deadlifts, you may very well have a weak glute medius on one or both sides. If you get an intense b...
http://www.KaiWheeler.com Personal trainer Kai Wheeler demonstrates a myofascial release technique on the glute medius. Myofascial release is a manual pressure technique used to eliminate pain and restore mobility to restricted dysfunctional muscle tissues. This technique is essential for any workout plan because it is directly relates to posture, and injury prevention. Lower back pain is often referred from another affected area that is the real culprit for the discomfort. They key is locating the trigger point (myofascial release). In this case the trigger point is located on the gluteus medius.

My Recent Amazing Shoulder Video: https://youtu.be/sukXWbPeULk Thumbnail Image From © CLIPAREA.com / Fotolia ************************************************** The Gluteus Medius muscle is a critical muscle in your body indeed. It plays a vital role in hip stabilization and is highly active when you are doing single leg activities, such as lunges, walking, going up and down the stairs, running, etc. The Gluteus Medius acts to stabilize your hip and helps prevent you from going into bad movement patterns. One of these bad movement patterns is known as Trendelenburg Gait, where your pelvis can tilt towards the opposite side. This can lead to a variety of issues down the road, including foot pain, knee pain, back pain, and hip pain. So you'll want to strengthen your Gluteus Medius muscle...

The gluteus medius muscle forms the middle layer whereas the gluteus minimus muscle belongs to the deeper layer, along with the rotators of the hip joint. Both are supplied by the superior gluteal nerve, a branch of the sacral plexus (L4-S1). See the world the way I do
Through the eyes of a bitter truth
Fear will shoot through your soul.
You raise your cup and drink their blood
You've gained the power, but you've lost your soul
Oh, what have you done?
Can you feel their breath?
Like ice down your spine
They are here
Hounds of hell, sniffing your heals
Now there's nowhere to hide
No escape for you
You know you're doomed
You're going to die
[SOLO]
Cast away your chains and run
The battle for your life's began
Don't ever look back.
You can hear the hideous cries
They're getting close, you know they're near
Oh, they'll tear you apart
Can you feel their breath?
Like ice down your spine
They are here
Hounds of hell, sniffing your heals
Now there's nowhere to hide
No escape for you
You know you're doomed
You're going to die
[SOLO]
Hounds of hell, sniffing your heals
Now there's nowhere to hide
No escape for you
You know you're doomed
