Bande Annonce Officielle "LE BAL DES VAMPIRES" réalisé et avec Roman Polanski. Avant de devenir une comédie musicale, Le Bal des Vampires était un film d'Épouvante, mais aussi une comédie. The Amazing Quest of Ernest Bliss is a 1936 British romantic comedy film directed by Alfred Zeisler and starring Cary Grant. It is a remake of the 1920 film The Amazing Quest of Mr. Ernest Bliss.
The film was re-issued in the United States in 1937 under the title The Amazing Adventure (also alternatively Romance and Riches), and was edited down from the original UK running time of 80 minutes, to 62 minutes. Most prints these days are the shorter one.
Plot:
Ernest Bliss (Cary Grant) is a rich socialite suffering boredom. He makes a bet with a doctor, Sir James Aldroyd, that he can live a year without relying on any of his inherited wealth. He loses the bet for £50,000 when he has to draw money to wed poverty stricken Frances Clayton (Mary Brian), to save her from an unhappy marriage of convenience.

Assim começa A Dança dos Vampiros, num cenário gélido envolto por muita neve em uma noite límpida de lua cheia. A carruagem trazendo o professor Ambronsius (Jack MacGowran) e seu discípulo Alfred (Roman Polanski) surge por um caminho sinistro perseguida por meia dúzia de lobos famintos que atacam a carruagem com ferocidade instintiva. Após conseguirem dispersar os lobos, os dois indivíduos chegam em uma estalagem na beira da estrada e são socorridos pelos aldeões do local. O professor Ambronsius está congelado... imediatamente socorrem-no e mais tarde dão a hospitalidade necessária aos dois viajantes. Uma curiosa observação é então feita pelos dois, eles encontram alho por toda parte... Desconfiam assim que existe algum vampiro na região.
Os acontecimentos vão interligando-se quando deparam com um horrível corcunda que vem à estalagem buscar mantimentos. Em seguida, o rapto de uma linda jovem por um vampiro (Ferdy Maine), que deixa marcas de sangue na tina de banho. Conhecida por Sarah, a jovem atriz nada mais é do que Sharon Tate, a esposa de Roman Polanski, que é o diretor do filme e também interpreta o personagem Alfred, o assistente do professor Ambronsius.
Começa a investigação... O pai de Sarah acaba virando um vampiro também ao sair noite adentro à procura de sua filha desaparecida e ainda por cima fica congelado no meio da neve. Ambronsius e Alfred partem para o castelo do vampiro, coberto de neve...
O cientista e seu companheiro penetram no castelo, mas logo dão de cara com o corcunda que os conduz ao Conde Von Krolock e como hóspedes especiais, os dois passam toda a noitada de inverno rigoroso conversando com o conde até que a tradicional e clássica cantada de galo corta a conversa de ambos. O conde então retira-se para seu repouso de morto-vivo em um caixão...
Antes disso, Alfred foi apresentado para o filho do conde, que parece ser meio afeminado e este parece ter gostado de Alfred para fazer-lhe companhia. No decorrer do tempo começam a investigar tudo que existe no castelo em busca da bela Sarah (atriz que na vida real foi assassinada em 1969 por uma seita satânica comandada por Charles Manson). No desfecho, os dois pesquisadores de vampiros acabam descobrindo que vai haver um baile na próxima noite, uma espécie de convenção de vampiros onde à meia-noite todos eles levantam-se de suas criptas no cemitério que faz fundo com o castelo.
O filho do conde toca cravo no salão de dança e então começam todos os vampiros a dançarem como nos tempos clássicos de séculos passados...
Ambronsius e Alfred traçam um plano para salvar a bela Sarah da qual o jovem Alfred está apaixonado, e no meio da dança dos vampiros os dois investigadores infiltram-se no meio da dança, mas não enganam por muito tempo... pois um enorme espelho denuncia-os no meio dos vampiros que não tem suas imagens refletidas no espelho. Então começa a caçada aos humanos que conseguem salvar Sarah das mãos dos sanguinários vampiros...
Ambronsius, Alfred e Sarah conseguem fugir em uma carruagem, mas são perseguidos pelo corcunda que esquiando dentro de um caixão tenta alcançá-los...

Andreas Malandrinos
Andreas Malandrinos (Greek: Ανδρέας Μαλανδρίνος; 14 November 1888 in Greece – 11 July 1970 in Surrey) was a Greek-born actor who started appearing in British films from 1930, until his death 40 years later in Surrey, England. He was fluent in six languages and used this talent to good effect to flourish as a dialect comedian in British music halls.
Many of his film appearances were so fleeting that his characters often had no names, only descriptions, e.g. "Valet with violin" in The Prince and the Showgirl (1957) and "Woodcutter" in The Fearless Vampire Killers (1967). During his stage career, Andreas Malandrinos billed himself simply as Malandrinos; conversely, his movie billing was often simply "Andreas."

Assim começa A Dança dos Vampiros, num cenário gélido envolto por muita neve em uma noite límpida de lua cheia. A carruagem trazendo o professor Ambronsius (Jack MacGowran) e seu discípulo Alfred (Roman Polanski) surge por um caminho sinistro perseguida por meia dúzia de lobos famintos que atacam a carruagem com ferocidade instintiva. Após conseguirem dispersar os lobos, os dois indivíduos chegam em uma estalagem na beira da estrada e são socorridos pelos aldeões do local. O professor Ambronsius está congelado... imediatamente socorrem-no e mais tarde dão a hospitalidade necessária aos dois viajantes. Uma curiosa observação é então feita pelos dois, eles encontram alho por toda parte... Desconfiam assim que existe algum vampiro na região.
Os acontecimentos vão interligando-se quando deparam com um horrível corcunda que vem à estalagem buscar mantimentos. Em seguida, o rapto de uma linda jovem por um vampiro (Ferdy Maine), que deixa marcas de sangue na tina de banho. Conhecida por Sarah, a jovem atriz nada mais é do que Sharon Tate, a esposa de Roman Polanski, que é o diretor do filme e também interpreta o personagem Alfred, o assistente do professor Ambronsius.
Começa a investigação... O pai de Sarah acaba virando um vampiro também ao sair noite adentro à procura de sua filha desaparecida e ainda por cima fica congelado no meio da neve. Ambronsius e Alfred partem para o castelo do vampiro, coberto de neve...
O cientista e seu companheiro penetram no castelo, mas logo dão de cara com o corcunda que os conduz ao Conde Von Krolock e como hóspedes especiais, os dois passam toda a noitada de inverno rigoroso conversando com o conde até que a tradicional e clássica cantada de galo corta a conversa de ambos. O conde então retira-se para seu repouso de morto-vivo em um caixão...
Antes disso, Alfred foi apresentado para o filho do conde, que parece ser meio afeminado e este parece ter gostado de Alfred para fazer-lhe companhia. No decorrer do tempo começam a investigar tudo que existe no castelo em busca da bela Sarah (atriz que na vida real foi assassinada em 1969 por uma seita satânica comandada por Charles Manson). No desfecho, os dois pesquisadores de vampiros acabam descobrindo que vai haver um baile na próxima noite, uma espécie de convenção de vampiros onde à meia-noite todos eles levantam-se de suas criptas no cemitério que faz fundo com o castelo.
O filho do conde toca cravo no salão de dança e então começam todos os vampiros a dançarem como nos tempos clássicos de séculos passados...
Ambronsius e Alfred traçam um plano para salvar a bela Sarah da qual o jovem Alfred está apaixonado, e no meio da dança dos vampiros os dois investigadores infiltram-se no meio da dança, mas não enganam por muito tempo... pois um enorme espelho denuncia-os no meio dos vampiros que não tem suas imagens refletidas no espelho. Então começa a caçada aos humanos que conseguem salvar Sarah das mãos dos sanguinários vampiros...
Ambronsius, Alfred e Sarah conseguem fugir em uma carruagem, mas são perseguidos pelo corcunda que esquiando dentro de um caixão tenta alcançá-los...

Assim começa A Dança dos Vampiros, num cenário gélido envolto por muita neve em uma noite límpida de lua cheia. Assim começa A Dança dos Vampiros, num cenário gélido envolto por muita neve em uma noite límpida de lua cheia. A carruagem trazendo o professor Ambronsius (Jack MacGowran) e seu discípulo Alfred (Roman Polanski) surge por um caminho sinistro perseguida por meia dúzia de lobos famintos que atacam a carruagem com ferocidade instintiva. Após conseguirem dispersar os lobos, os dois indivíduos chegam em uma estalagem na beira da estrada e são socorridos pelos aldeões do local. O professor Ambronsius está congelado... imediatamente socorrem-no e mais tarde dão a hospitalidade necessária aos dois viajantes. Uma curiosa observação é então feita pelos dois, eles encontram alho por toda parte... Desconfiam assim que existe algum vampiro na região.
Os acontecimentos vão interligando-se quando deparam com um horrível corcunda que vem à estalagem buscar mantimentos. Em seguida, o rapto de uma linda jovem por um vampiro (Ferdy Maine), que deixa marcas de sangue na tina de banho. Conhecida por Sarah, a jovem atriz nada mais é do que Sharon Tate, a esposa de Roman Polanski, que é o diretor do filme e também interpreta o personagem Alfred, o assistente do professor Ambronsius.
Começa a investigação... O pai de Sarah acaba virando um vampiro também ao sair noite adentro à procura de sua filha desaparecida e ainda por cima fica congelado no meio da neve. Ambronsius e Alfred partem para o castelo do vampiro, coberto de neve...
O cientista e seu companheiro penetram no castelo, mas logo dão de cara com o corcunda que os conduz ao Conde Von Krolock e como hóspedes especiais, os dois passam toda a noitada de inverno rigoroso conversando com o conde até que a tradicional e clássica cantada de galo corta a conversa de ambos. O conde então retira-se para seu repouso de morto-vivo em um caixão...
Antes disso, Alfred foi apresentado para o filho do conde, que parece ser meio afeminado e este parece ter gostado de Alfred para fazer-lhe companhia. No decorrer do tempo começam a investigar tudo que existe no castelo em busca da bela Sarah (atriz que na vida real foi assassinada em 1969 por uma seita satânica comandada por Charles Manson). No desfecho, os dois pesquisadores de vampiros acabam descobrindo que vai haver um baile na próxima noite, uma espécie de convenção de vampiros onde à meia-noite todos eles levantam-se de suas criptas no cemitério que faz fundo com o castelo.
O filho do conde toca cravo no salão de dança e então começam todos os vampiros a dançarem como nos tempos clássicos de séculos passados...
Ambronsius e Alfred traçam um plano para salvar a bela Sarah da qual o jovem Alfred está apaixonado, e no meio da dança dos vampiros os dois investigadores infiltram-se no meio da dança, mas não enganam por muito tempo... pois um enorme espelho denuncia-os no meio dos vampiros que não tem suas imagens refletidas no espelho. Então começa a caçada aos humanos que conseguem salvar Sarah das mãos dos sanguinários vampiros...
Ambronsius, Alfred e Sarah conseguem fugir em uma carruagem, mas são perseguidos pelo corcunda que esquiando dentro de um caixão tenta alcançá-los...
