Learning and education, whether it be for career entry, transition, employment or for personal development as a health and wellness practitioner or to improve self-health or that of a loved one, giving people the knowledge, skills and resources to achieve their goals and enjoy life at its fullest. Normandale is rooted in core values which are completely reflected in our programs and offerings:
Education, empowerment, quality, accessibility and partnership. I have been hearing SO much about what you guys have been doing at Normandale Community College in health and wellness and in integrative health education. 3. Why it is so unique and special?

Law of attraction We know that education is our foundation. Our goal is to educate and train. Our programs and offerings reflect our core value of education and learning. We work with business and organizations to help build wellness programs and skilled employee bases We know that for adult learners, learning is about more than just hearing information, it is about experiencing the learning, enjoying the entire experience. We design our programs to be an outstanding experience, not just a course. Because of our partnership and value model, we have an impressive cadre of internationally and nationally known program areas like our
Tai Chi for Arthritis instructors in the nation, the
Energy Medicine Sound Therapy Master Program,
Emotional Freedom Techniques This is just a sampling of programs. 4. What can you tell me about the trends in learning environment in health and wellness? Bridging, connectivity, integration, fusion of traditional healthcare and integrative, holistic care and healing We know that the worlds are blurring between traditional healthcare and holistic healthcare. As we look at the future, we see a need to educate both sides of the spectrum about the other as it will be critical to helping work through our healthcare crisis and ensuring that individuals are self-empowering, being proactive about their care, learning about all the options available as well as healthcare providers as they ramp up their care quality, options and effectiveness.

What's our future vision? We feel that we need to broaden our outreach. As we grow our program areas, we are envisioning programs that will be accessible across the nation through online/distance learning options and solid partnerships with learning organizations that carry our same values and mission.
Continued development of partnerships, especially with those who are leaders and visionaries within the health and healing world.
People are telling us all the time that "they have been watching us" and the growth and development of the Integrative
Health Education Center... Hospitals and clinics are building integrative teams and specialty offices just for holistic care With the new space, we have an enormous opportunity to engage and attract and even possible educate or influence Thought leaders, scientists, medical experts, etc. about integrative care Much work has been done and foundations laid and seeds planted and this is the year that many things are coming to fruition.
