*bin el ouidane : Un site exceptionnel au coeur du Maroc traditionnel,Il existe un lac, au centre de l'Atlas, entre l'oued El Abid et l'assif Ahanesal,dont les eaux cristallines reflètent toute la beauté de la Nature : Bin el Ouidane,ces trois mots signifiant littéralement "entre les fleuves"...Enchâssé entre les monts du Haut-Atlas, le Tazerkount (à 1730 mètres d'altitude),le R'Nin (à 2411 mètres) et le Tassemit (à 2148 mètres), tous trois au Nord, ainsi que le Chito (à 2662 mètres) et le M'Goun (culminant à 4071 mètres), au Sud, le lac de Bin el Ouidane, juché à 810 mètres d'altitude, s'étend sur plus de 37 Km2.La terre rouge et ocre, aux alentours, est le berceau millénaire des oliviers, amandiers et autres chênes-verts qui se multiplient entre les douars berbères.
Rouge et vert, couleurs du Maroc profond...Le barrage de Bin el Ouidane (en arabe : سد بين الودان) est un barrage marocain situé dans la province d'Azilal (région de Tadla-Azilal).
Édifice majeur en matière de construction de barrage, il a une double vocation : la production d'énergie et l'irrigation. Il est considéré comme le plus haut barrage en voûte d'Afrique et le plus grand du Maroc en production énergétique...
*Les cascades d'Ouzoud : sont des chutes d'eau situées au Maroc. À 120 km de Beni Mellal et 150 km de Marrakech, elles constituent une attraction touristique importante. Nées de l'oued Ouzoud, elle mesurent environ 110 mètres de hauteur.
Les cascades d'Ouzoud sont récemment devenues accessibles à partir de la petite cité d'Aït Attab (sur une distance d'environ 25 km) en provenance de Beni Mellal ou de Marrakech à travers la cité sucrière d'Oulad Ayad (Province de Fquih Ben Salah).Les cascades d'Ouzoud sont parmi les plus beau site du Moyen Atlas. Ce site est situé à environ 200 km de Marrakech, au nord-est de la ville. Pour accéder aux cascades d'ouzoud sortez de Marrakech par la route de Fès, au kilomètre 17 prenez la direction de la ville de Demnat. Une fois à la ville de Demnat prenez la direction Tannant. Au kilomètre 140, bifurquer à gauche. Il vous reste environ 15 kilomètre à traverser dans Moyen Atlas pour arrivée aux cascades d'Ouzoud.

Around 100 people protested in the city of Beni Mellal as the trial of two homosexuals and a group of men who allegedly attacked them resumed on Monday. A Moroccan court released the two male victims while two perpetrators convicted of attacking the couple remain incarcerated.
Local citizens and relatives of the arrested attackers gathered outside the court and demanded their release. "Law 489 of the penal code prohibits homosexuality. The victims reported that they have had homosexual relations and the judge released them and our children are in jail," said one of the family members of a man accused of involvement in the attack.

Beni-Mellal (Berber: Bni Mellal, Arabic: بني ملال) is a Moroccan city located at (32°20′22″N 6°21′39″W / 32.33944°N 6.36083°W / 32.33944; -6.36083). It is the capital city of the Tadla-Azilal Region, with a population of 163,286 (2004 census). It sits at the foot of Mount Tassemit (2247m), and next to the plains of Beni Amir.
As the city lies quite far inland and is shielded by the Middle Atlas mountains the area has a real continental climate with very hot summers and quite cold winters.
The walls of the city go back to Mawlay Ismail, in 1688, as well as the Kasba Bel-Kush but most of the city is quite modern and forms an important economic centre for the region. Local agricultural products as oranges, olives, figs etc. find their way to the market via Beni Mellal.
The city has good connections via the road to Casablanca to the East and lies on the ancient route - now a national road - from Fez to Marrakech. The national rail-operator ONCF is also extending the railtrack from Casablanca to (nearby) Oued Zem to the city.

Ouzoud Morocco ecology tourism
Last weekend I visited Ouzoud I and my friends, It is marvelous place. We enjoyed time playing guitars, many tourist like it especially with the sound of waterfalls coming from high mountains of Grand Atlas. Ouzoud Waterfalls (French: Cascades d'Ouzoud) (110 m high) are located near the Grand Atlas village of Tanaghmeilt, in the province of Azilal, 150 km northeast of Marrakech, in Morocco. *bin el ouidane : Un site exceptionnel au coeur du Maroc traditionnel,Il existe un lac, au centre de l'Atlas, entre l'oued El Abid et l'assif Ahanesal,dont les eaux cristallines reflètent toute la beauté de la Nature : Bin el Ouidane,ces trois mots signifiant littéralement "entre les fleuves"...Enchâssé entre les monts du Haut-Atlas, le Tazerkount (à 1730 mètres d'altitude),le R'Nin (à 2411 mètres) et le Tassemit (à 2148 mètres), tous trois au Nord, ainsi que le Chito (à 2662 mètres) et le M'Goun (culminant à 4071 mètres), au Sud, le lac de Bin el Ouidane, juché à 810 mètres d'altitude, s'étend sur plus de 37 Km2.La terre rouge et ocre, aux alentours, est le berceau millénaire des oliviers, amandiers et autres chênes-verts qui se multiplient entre les douars berbères.
Rouge et vert, couleurs du Maroc profond...Le barrage de Bin el Ouidane (en arabe : سد بين الودان) est un barrage marocain situé dans la province d'Azilal (région de Tadla-Azilal).
Édifice majeur en matière de construction de barrage, il a une double vocation : la production d'énergie et l'irrigation. Il est considéré comme le plus haut barrage en voûte d'Afrique et le plus grand du Maroc en production énergétique...
*Les cascades d'Ouzoud : sont des chutes d'eau situées au Maroc. À 120 km de Beni Mellal et 150 km de Marrakech, elles constituent une attraction touristique importante. Nées de l'oued Ouzoud, elle mesurent environ 110 mètres de hauteur.
Les cascades d'Ouzoud sont récemment devenues accessibles à partir de la petite cité d'Aït Attab (sur une distance d'environ 25 km) en provenance de Beni Mellal ou de Marrakech à travers la cité sucrière d'Oulad Ayad (Province de Fquih Ben Salah).Les cascades d'Ouzoud sont parmi les plus beau site du Moyen Atlas. Ce site est situé à environ 200 km de Marrakech, au nord-est de la ville. Pour accéder aux cascades d'ouzoud sortez de Marrakech par la route de Fès, au kilomètre 17 prenez la direction de la ville de Demnat. Une fois à la ville de Demnat prenez la direction Tannant. Last weekend I visited Ouzoud I and my friends, It is marvelous place. We enjoyed time playing guitars, many tourist like it especially with the sound of waterfalls coming from high mountains of Grand Atlas.
Ouzoud Waterfalls (French: Cascades d'Ouzoud) (110 m high) are located near the Grand Atlas village of Tanaghmeilt, in the province of Azilal, 150 km northeast of Marrakech, in Morocco.

Last weekend I visited Ouzoud I and my friends, It is marvelous place. We enjoyed time playing guitars, many tourist like it especially with the sound of waterfalls coming from high mountains of Grand Atlas.
Ouzoud Waterfalls (French: Cascades d'Ouzoud) (110 m high) are located near the Grand Atlas village of Tanaghmeilt, in the province of Azilal, 150 km northeast of Marrakech, in Morocco.
Ouzoud means "the act of grinding grain" in Berber. This seems to be confirmed by the frequent mills in the region.
The bottom of the falls is accessible through a shaded path of olive trees. At the summit of the falls, there are a dozen old small mills that are still in use. One can also follow a narrow and difficult track leading to the road of Beni Mellal. While descending the gorges from the "wadi el-Abid" in a canyon sometimes one does not distinguish the bottom which is nearly 600 metres down.

My dedication in life is to pass on the ancient history of the Holy Land.
Following upon many years of travel around the world, which was highlighted by a very exciting emotional and soul-searching meeting with the Dalai Lama, I realized that I had a mission. To pass on the the history of the Holy Land, its religions, and in particular, the birth and development of Christianity.
In order to fulfill this "calling" in the best way possible, I studied in depth, visited, and personally experienced each and every important site of the ancient Christians. I studied for and received my first bachelors degree in the ancient history of the Holy Land, and am presently completing my studies for my second degree.(Masters)
Parralel to my studies, and in order to earn a living, I was employed for many years in advertising. What I learned there was how to attract the publics attention, generate and, increase interest, and assimilate information. All this I use as tools to describe, explain and deepen the interest in the sites that we visit. From my experience, I have learned that in this way, the Holy Land becomes more than just history, and that the large stones that we see scattered about in dissaray, join together one by one until they become - a Byzantine Church. This also happens when I lead a group of Pilgrims in the Steps of Jesus. We climb to the peak of Mount Precipice, "glide" over the land to the Sea of Galilee, land on the water and "see" the miracle which enfolds before us. This is a many faceted experience. Not only history which you will remember and cherish, but an experience which I hope will be inplanted in your hearts and minds, and will accompany you all the days of your life.
