I am a huge fan of Asics, but these shoes are a far cry from the quality I've come to know. The shoes appear cheap, with dried glue exposed on the soles. Not to mention, they are ugly. I'm returning them for the Gel-Nimbus.

I was shocked to discover that the elastic on both shoes was dirty. From the condition of the packaging it was obvious that the shoes had been returned before. I too am returning them. Although I do like the shoe, the inside stitching places pressure on my feet where it should not.

The design of these made it so that the heel kept slapping the floor loudly when I walked. Leather is not very soft and the thong rubs a lot between the toes. Also runs large.

These shoes are so comfortable you would think they came from a comfort brand! The footbed is a cushioned material with good traction that prevents slipping and sliding and there is similar material on the inside of the straps as well. The gold color is rich without being brassy. I agree with other reviewers that the shoe runs narrow; however I found this to be a benefit.

My purpose for this shoe was for a hip-hop dance class. I needed a supportive sneaker with just enough slip on the ball of the foot to allow pivot and protect my aging knees. I wear a 6.5-7 WW street shoe. This shoe was very narrow for me, and the pivot point at the ball of the foot was a little too hard, and made a distracting clacking noise on the wood floor.

This is a nice looking shoe and very comfortable. I would highly recommend this and will look for another color to buy.

A little more orthopedic looking than I like, but did feel pretty good with my orthotic in place.

I ordered 7 pairs of sandals -- the other brands were Chacos, Tevas, Sofft, and Cobb Hill -- and this was the highest quality, most comfortable shoe. The footbed is amazing -- firm and supportive. I got a 7 and it was a perfect fit; I normally wear a 7 or 7.5 and have a wide toebox and narrow heel. These don't have quite the hippie chic of my Birkenstock Mayaris, but they are at least as comfortable and, most importantly, I can run in them without my sandals falling off! I just wish Taos shoes were a bit more stylish.

I absolutely love these sandals! So much so that I ordered another pair. I wear a size 4 in a woman's shoe, so it's a bit of a challenge to find cute, inexpensive sandals. I'm also a little reluctant to buy girl's sandals because they are a little youthful and I worry about sizing. However, I ordered the size 2 and they fit beautifully. Very comfortable too.

Very very comfortable and true to size. Have walked miles on them on the first day and they felt like a glove all day long.
