Each Recipe Makes 8 scones

½ cup of heavy cream
1 tbsp vanilla
2 eggs
FOR RAISIN SCONES:
Add ¼ cup black raisins and ¼ cup golden raisins
Egg Wash
1 whole egg
SERVE WITH: Twinings Apple Spiced Chai Tea http://bit.ly/1mTL7Oy
METHOD:
Preheat oven to 400F.
In a large bowl whisk together the flour, sugar, salt and baking powder.
Then work the butter cubes into the flour with your hands until a coarse meal develops. Then toss in the raisins and mix gently with your hands to combine.
In a separate small bowl add the heavy cream, eggs and vanilla and whisk with a fork until combined.
Create a small well in the center of the flour mixture. Pour the cream mixture into the well, and stir with a fork until combined, and then change to a large wooden spoon.
Turn the dough out onto a floured surface. Form into a disk, cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 mins, or pop in the freezer for 10 mins.
Once chilled, roll the dough out to ½ “ thickness. Cut out scones with a 2” round biscuit cutter and place on a parchment lined cookie sheet.
Then whisk 1 whole egg in a small bowl, then with a pastry brush lightly glaze the tops of the scones with the egg wash.
TIP: To assure your scones retain their shape after they are baked pop your tray into your fridge for 15 mins before baking. This will re-chill the dough and allow them to bake up in a more uniform fashion.
Bake for 10-12 mins until risen and golden brown. Serve with butter and jam alongside your favorite tea!
FOR CRANBERRY ORANGE SCONES:
Replace raisins with ½ cup of Cranberries
Add 2 tbsp orange zest with the cranberries
Glaze with heavy cream and turbinado sugar
SERVE WITH: Twinings Orange & Cinnamon Spice Tea http://bit.ly/1rnqMkw
To form triangle scones:
Roll dough into a square, ½” thick. Cut in half vertically, then horizontally. Then cut each little square diagonally to create smaller triangles.
Transfer to a parchment lined cookie sheet. Glaze with heavy cream and sprinkle with the turbinado sugar.
CHOCOLATE CHUNK:
Add 3 oz of chopped bittersweet chocolate at the coarse meal stage. Mix to combine and proceed as directed for basic scone recipe.

Gemma's Traditional Irish Scones
INGREDIENTS
3 ½ cups (1 lb/ 16oz ) Flour (all purpose/plain)
5 level tsp Baking powder
1 Generous pinch Of salt
¼ cup (2 oz/60g) white sugar
1 stick (4 oz/ 125g) cold salted Butter,
1 Whole egg
2 oz Double cream
7 oz whole milk
Milk to glaze
METHOD
1. In a large bowl mix the dry ingredients together
2. Rub in the cold butter with your fingers until it resembles breadcrumbs.
3. If adding dried fruit eg. Raisins, berries, citrus rind, chocolate chips add them now before you add liquid
4. Mix your egg with the milk and cream and pour into your flour mix (if you don’t have cream you can use only milk)
5. With an open hand mix loosely your scone mix until your dough forms. The bowl should be clean from the dough
6. Turn your dough onto a floured work surface
7. Knead lightly to give your dough a smooth surface
8. Pat your dough down with your hand until around 1 inches thick
9. With a scone cutter cut out your lovely little scones. You will have around 12
10. Put on a baking tray, glaze the tops of your scones with some milk to give them a golden top when baked
11. Bake at 350oF (18OoC) for 35 minutes.
12. Enjoy with Irish butter, jam and freshly whipped cream. Scones are best eaten the day they are baked but the next day you can pop them back in the oven to freshen them up again.

Hey there! You might remember that I absolutely LOVE scones and, while a plain scone is one of my favourite things to bake and eat, there is one Summery addition I can't do without and that is raspberries. So here is my recipe for Raspberry Scones! (it's still Summer, right?)
Recipe -

Classic Scone Recipe
2 cups flour
½ cup sugar
1 tbsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
¾ cup Silk Unsweetened Almond
1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
2. In a large bowl whisk flour, sugar, baking powder and salt until it’s well combined.
3. Add Silk Almond and stir until mixture is combined.
4. Scoop mixture onto a parchment-lined baking sheet to form 12
scones.
5. Bake for 12-14 minutes.
6. Allow scones to cool completely before packaging.
7. Scones can be refrigerated for 1 week or frozen for up to 3 months.
8. Enjoy!
Orange Cranberry Scones

3. In a second bowl whisk Silk Almond, freshly squeezed orange juice and orange zest.
4. Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and stir.

7. Top with a sprinkle of coarse sugar.
8. Bake for 12-14 minutes.
9. Allow scones to cool completely before packaging.

2. In a large bowl whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, rosemary, garlic powder and Parmesan cheese (if using) until it’s well combined.
3. Add Silk Almond and stir until mixture is combined.
4. Scoop mixture onto a parchment-lined baking sheet to form 12 scones.
5. Bake for 12-14 minutes.
6. Top with a little melted butter and another sprinkle of garlic powder.
7. Allow scones to cool completely before packaging.
8. Scones can be refrigerated for 1 week or frozen for up to 3 months.

Basic British Scone Recipe
Yield about 8 scones
Prep time: 30 min (when a food processor is used)
Baking time: 12-15 min
Ingredients
2 cups flour, cake flour preferably (250g)
1 tablespoon granulated sugar (15g)
4 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup unsalted butter, cold, cubed (56g)
2/3 cup whole milk (160ml)
1 egg
Additional 1 egg, beaten, for egg wash
2 tablespoons cranberries or raisins, optional
Directions
Preheat the oven at 390 degrees F (200 C).
In a bowl add in 2 cups of flour, 1 tablespoon of sugar, 4 teaspoons of baking powder, and half teaspoons of salt and whisk until combined.
Add cold butter and cut butter into flour with fingers. In French it’s sablage. Or you can use a pastry blender. Today I am using a food processor. I will pulse until fine sands.
Transfer into a bowl.
Crack an egg into a bowl and beat lightly. Make a well in the center of the butter-flour mixture. Add in milk and egg mixture. Fold just until moistened.
Today I am adding 2 tablespoons of cranberries and stir until just combined.
Flour generously the work surface.
Turn the batter on to work surface. Patt out to a round 1 inch thick.
Then stamp out rounds with a pastry ring and place on a baking sheet.
Brush the tops of the scones with egg wash. To make basic egg wash, crack an egg and beat lightly.
Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until well-risen and golden brown.

1. 볼에 밀가루 250g, 설탕 10g, 베이킹파우더 10g, 소금 조금을 넣습니다. 그리고 잘 섞어주세요. 다음 차가운 버터를 넣고, 손가락으로 잘게 자릅니다. 불어로는 모래처럼 만든다고 해서 사블라쥬라고 해요. 혹은 페이스트리 블랜더써도 되구요. 전 오늘 푸드 프로세서를 쓸께요. ‘펄스’ 버튼 을 눌러가며 모래알 처럼 만드세요. 그리고 볼로 옮깁니다.
2. 다른 볼에 달걀넣고 풉니다. 그리고 밀가루-버터-모래 중간에 구멍을 만들고, 우유와 달걀을 넣으세요. 그리고 스패출라로 반죽이 젖을 때까지만 섞어 주세요. 오늘 추가적으로 크랜베리 20g람을 넣을께요. 그리고 아주 살짝 섞어주세요.
3. 선반에 밀가루를 충분히 깔고, 반죽을 옮기세요. 손바닥으로 약3센치 정도 될 때까지 가볍게 탁탁 치세요. 다음 쿠키 커터나 무스링으로 찍어냅니다. 그리고 베이킹팬으로 옮기세요.
4. 스콘에 달걀물을 발라주시구요. 가장 기본적인 달걀물은 그냥 풀은 달걀이예요.
5. 200도로 예열된 오븐에서 12-15분간 굽습니다. 잘 부풀고, 금빛 갈색을 띌 때까지요. 달걀물을 입히면 이렇게 스콘 표면이 바삭하고 반짝거려요.

Basic British Scone Recipe
Yield about 8 scones
Prep time: 30 min (when a food processor is used)
Baking time: 12-15 min
Ingredients
2 cups flour, cake flour preferably (250g)
1 tablespoon granulated sugar (15g)
4 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup unsalted butter, cold, cubed (56g)
2/3 cup whole milk (160ml)
1 egg
Additional 1 egg, beaten, for egg wash
2 tablespoons cranberries or raisins, optional
Directions
Preheat the oven at 390 degrees F (200 C).
In a bowl add in 2 cups of flour, 1 tablespoon of sugar, 4 teaspoons of baking powder, and half teaspoons of salt and whisk until combined.
Add cold butter and cut butter into flour with fingers. In French it’s sablage. Or you can use a pastry blender. Today I am using a food processor. I will pulse until fine sands.
Transfer into a bowl.
Crack an egg into a bowl and beat lightly. Make a well in the center of the butter-flour mixture. Add in milk and egg mixture. Fold just until moistened.
Today I am adding 2 tablespoons of cranberries and stir until just combined.
Flour generously the work surface.
Turn the batter on to work surface. Patt out to a round 1 inch thick.
Then stamp out rounds with a pastry ring and place on a baking sheet.
Brush the tops of the scones with egg wash. To make basic egg wash, crack an egg and beat lightly.
Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until well-risen and golden brown.

만들기
1. 볼에 밀가루 250g, 설탕 10g, 베이킹파우더 10g, 소금 조금을 넣습니다. 그리고 잘 섞어주세요. 다음 차가운 버터를 넣고, 손가락으로 잘게 자릅니다. 불어로는 모래처럼 만든다고 해서 사블라쥬라고 해요. 혹은 페이스트리 블랜더써도 되구요. 전 오늘 푸드 프로세서를 쓸께요. ‘펄스’ 버튼 을 눌러가며 모래알 처럼 만드세요. 그리고 볼로 옮깁니다.
2. 다른 볼에 달걀넣고 풉니다. 그리고 밀가루-버터-모래 중간에 구멍을 만들고, 우유와 달걀을 넣으세요. 그리고 스패출라로 반죽이 젖을 때까지만 섞어 주세요. 오늘 추가적으로 크랜베리 20g람을 넣을께요. 그리고 아주 살짝 섞어주세요.
3. 선반에 밀가루를 충분히 깔고, 반죽을 옮기세요. 손바닥으로 약3센치 정도 될 때까지 가볍게 탁탁 치세요. 다음 쿠키 커터나 무스링으로 찍어냅니다. 그리고 베이킹팬으로 옮기세요.
4. 스콘에 달걀물을 발라주시구요. 가장 기본적인 달걀물은 그냥 풀은 달걀이예요.
5. 200도로 예열된 오븐에서 12-15분간 굽습니다. 잘 부풀고, 금빛 갈색을 띌 때까지요. 달걀물을 입히면 이렇게 스콘 표면이 바삭하고 반짝거려요.

English Style Scones Recipe with Quick Strawberry Jam:
MAKES 9 SCONES, USING A 2.5 INCH CUTTER
Ingredients:
2 cups flour
4 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 cup sugar
6 tbsp unsalted butter, at room temperature
2/3 cup whole milk
1 large egg
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F.
In a food processor, pulse the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar a couple times to combine. Add the butter and pulse 7-10 times until the butter is completely distributed. You shouldn't see any chunks of butter, and the mixture should have a sandy texture to it. Transfer to a large mixing bowl.
In a small bowl, whisk to combine the milk and egg. Save 2 tbsp of it for the egg wash later, and pour the rest into the mixing bowl. Stir to combine with a spatula, until a rough dough forms. Transfer to a lightly floured countertop and knead about 15 times until the dough comes together into a smooth ball. Roll the dough about an inch thick and use a 2.5" cutter to cut about 7 circles. Re-roll the scraps and cut out another 2. Place the scones onto a parchment or silicone mat lined baking sheet and brush the tops with the reserved egg wash. Bake the scones for 13-15 minutes, until about tripled in height, and golden brown on the tops and bottoms.
Note: If making this recipe by hand, whisk to combine the dry ingredients in a large bowl, and mix in the butter with a hand mixer. Proceed with the recipe as instructed.
Quick Strawberry Jam Recipe:
Ingredients:
1 lb strawberries, sliced
1/3 cup sugar
1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
zest of 1 lemon
Directions:
Combine all ingredients in a saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium high heat and cook for 10 minutes, stirring frequently, until the mixture reduces to a thick consistency. Pour into a glass container and let cool to room temperature, then chill completely in the fridge. Keeps for 1 week.

건조 크렌베리는 대형마트에서 쉽게 구하실 수 있구요 ~
이 레시피에서 크렌베리를 빼면 플레인 스콘이 된답니다

▼좀 더 자세한 만드는 법▼
Cake flour (or all-purpose flour) 박력분 또는 중력분 300g / Dried cranberries 건 크렌베리 80g / Butter 버터 60g / Milk 우유 100g (=ml) / Sugar 설탕 30g / Egg 달걀 1 / Baking powder 베이킹 파우더 6g / Salt
소금 3g / Vanilla essence 바닐라 에센스 / Extra Egg 여분의 달걀 (=달걀물)
1/체친 밀가루에 설탕/소금/베이킹 파우더를 넣고 골고루 섞어주세요
2/ 실온에 30분 정도 둔 말랑한 상태의 버터를 넣고, 양손으로 가볍게 비벼 소보루 상태로 만들어주세요~
3/ 바닐라 에센스 / 달걀 / 우유를 넣고 가볍게 반죽해주세요
4/ 크렌베리를 넣고 골고루 반죽해주세요~
5/ 30분간 냉장고에서 휴지 시켜주세요~
6/ 2.5 cm 두께의 길쭉한 모양으로 성형한 뒤, 삼각형 모양으로 잘라 달걀물(달걀을 푼거) 190도에서 15~20분 간 구워주세요~

Ingredients:

Ingredients:
300g all purpose flour
120g coconut milk
60g vegetable oil
60g sweetener
a hint of salt
1 tsp baking powder
Instructions:
1, mix all the ingredients, then divide into 8 equal pieces.
2, bake at 350℉ / 180℃ for 30 minutes.
