"VESSEL THE FILM"

Following our great screening evening at Ultimo, the first in NSW, Women's Abortion Action Campaign (WAAC) will now show the film "Vessel" at Blacktown for supporters and friends on Thursday, 11th June, 2015, from 6.30 pm.

Vessel tells the story of the controversial work of pioneering reproductive rights activist Dr Gomperts, who founded Women On Waves, a Dutch based organisation which, with the use of a ship, provides safe, professional and legal abortions, as well as counselling and contraception, in international waters.

Check out the trailer for "Vessel", and then join WAAC at Blacktown for a screening of this fascinating and powerful film.

Please RSVP to for the Blacktown event to ensure you can be seated. Entry will be by donation, as much or little as you can afford, and we hope there will be time for a Q&A session after the film.

See you there!
