The Black Crowes were an American rock band formed in 1989. Their discography includes nine studio albums, four live albums and several charting singles. The band was signed to Def American Recordings in 1989 by producer George Drakoulias and released their debut album, Shake Your Money Maker, the following year. The follow-up, The Southern Harmony and Musical Companion, reached the top of the Billboard 200 in 1992.
After a hiatus between 2002 and 2005, the band released Warpaint, which hit number 5 on the Billboard chart. After the release of a double album, the greatest hits-like and mostly acoustic Croweology in August 2010, the band started a 20th anniversary tour that was followed by an ongoing second hiatus. The band announced that they would return in early 2013 but that December they returned to hiatus status with no specific return date. They announced their break-up in 2015.
The band has sold over 30 million albums, and is listed at number 92 on VH1's "100 Greatest Artists of Hard Rock". They were also labeled by Melody Maker as "The Most Rock 'n' Roll Rock 'n' Roll Band in the World" and the readers of Rolling Stone voted them 'Best New American Band' in 1990.
The Black is a rock band from Austin, Texas that formed in 2002 when singer/songwriter David Longoria began collaborating with drummer Andy Morales. The two were later joined by renowned guitarist Alan Schaefer (son of famous guitar maker Ed Schaefer) and Nick Moulos of the Austin band The Crackpipes.
The group began playing regularly at Emo's and house parties until Schaefer moved to France to teach English in 2004. Longoria joined major label act ...And You Will Know Us by the Trail of Dead during the band's hiatus, his first performance with them on the Late Show with David Letterman in January 2005. Schaefer joined the rest of the band to support Trail of Dead on their European Worlds Apart tour. During the tour Trail of Dead was the band's backing band for a handful of shows.
Their full-length album Tanglewood was recorded in 2004 and released the spring of 2005 on their own record label K Woo.
The band's next release, titled Donna, was released in the summer of 2007.

CNN Money, formerly known as In the Money, Your $$$$$, and Your Money was a thirty-minute news show last hosted by Christine Romans broadcast by CNN from the Time Warner Center studios in New York City. The business program was a week-in-review of that week's financial stories, with analysis of consumer impact from those stories; it was the final CNN program with an exclusive business focus. The show was formerly hosted by Ali Velshi before his move to Al Jazeera America. The program was last shown on Saturdays at 2:00 pm EST.
The show was renamed on June 7, 2014 to coincide with the launch of the new CNNMoney.com. It was canceled in October 2014.
Jealous Again is a 12" EP that was the second release by American hardcore punk band Black Flag and the third-ever release on SST Records.
Although eventually released as a 12" extended-play 45 RPM single, Jealous Again was initially intended to be Black Flag's first full-length album.
Spurred on by the reception to their first release, the EP Nervous Breakdown, Black Flag entered the studio in late 1979 with new drummer Robo and original singer Keith Morris to begin recording their first LP. Basic tracks for all of the songs were cut live in the studio with Morris singing temporary vocal parts. Almost without warning, however, according to bassist Chuck Dukowski, Morris "smashed his records and guitar and walked out screaming for a week," quitting the band and refusing to complete the album.
The band then recruited former Redd Kross member Ron Reyes, (credited on the record as "Chavo Pederast" after a falling out with the band) to be their new vocalist; however, guitarist and band leader Greg Ginn felt he was not yet ready to record, and the tapes were put aside for several months. After several shows with Reyes, one of which was filmed for the movie The Decline of Western Civilization, the sessions resumed, first with Ginn overdubbing new guitar parts and then Reyes doing his vocals. However, the initial attempts to record with Reyes proved fruitless when he started walking out of the vocal booth, and sometimes the studio entirely, in the middle of takes. Reyes later quit the band in the middle of a live performance, derailing the sessions entirely for a second time.

For Those About To Rock is the name of a video containing live performances by AC/DC, Metallica, The Black Crowes, Pantera and E.S.T. in the Tushino Airfield in Moscow, during the implosion of the Soviet Union. In September 1991, only a few days after the August Putsch failed, 1.6 million rock music fans converged in Moscow to enjoy the very first open-air rock concert, part of the Monsters of Rock series. For Those About To Rock...We Salute You: Monsters in Moscow also offers a look at the efforts of the Russian Army to try to postpone the concert (not on the original VHS release).

As I stare into the frozen starlight
My hands burn with the scars of past lives
I see past all the falling chimneys
Home for me
What is home for me?
As I charge into the foothills of your life
Stand under fading sunlight
Hope it will return next morning
Home for me
What is home for me?
I can't wait to find
A home for me
Silence gauge me into my soul
I approach you this morning
Which one will you be?
You're far too important to me
As I stare into the frozen starlight
My hands burn with the scars of past lives
I see past all the falling chimneys
Home for me
What is home for me?
I cannot wait to find
A home for me
