Raffy Tima (born Rufino Tima, Jr. on January 7, 1975) is a Filipino anchor, producer and host of GMA Network and its affiliate GMA News TV.
Tima was one of GMA’s main reporter during the 2000 to 2004 series of kidnapping by the Abu Sayyaf group, a Muslim extremist group in Southern Mindanao, and the all-out war of the Armed Forces of the Philippines against the Moro Islamic Liberation Front, a separatist Muslim rebel group in Central Mindanao. Tima has also covered the war in Afghanistan in 2001 and Iraq in 2004.
A recipient of numerous commendations including most outstanding news producer in 2004 for his coverage of the Philippines Presidential elections, Raffy Tima is now a senior producer for GMA news, an anchor of Balitanghali with Pia Arcangel-Halili, a noontime newscast of GMA News TV Formerly Q and a host of the public affairs show 100% Pinoy. He is likewise the pioneering host of Reporter's Notebook and has also hosted i-Witness, a Peabody Award winning public affairs show of GMA.
