South Beach, also nicknamed SoBe, is a neighborhood in the city of Miami Beach, Florida, United States, located due east of Miami city proper between Biscayne Bay and the Atlantic Ocean. The area encompasses all of the barrier islands of Miami Beach south of Indian Creek.
This area was the first section of Miami Beach to be developed, starting in the 1910s, thanks to the development efforts of Carl G. Fisher, the Lummus Brothers, and John S. Collins, the latter whose construction of the Collins Bridge provided the first vital land link between mainland Miami and the beaches.
The area has gone through numerous artificial and natural changes over the years, including a booming regional economy, increased tourism, and the 1926 hurricane, which destroyed much of the area. As of 2010, about 39,186 residents live in South Beach.
South Beach started as farmland. In 1870, Henry and Charles Lum purchased 165 acres (67 ha) for coconut farming. Charles Lum built the first house on the beach in 1886. In 1894, the Lum brothers left the island, leaving control of the plantation to John Collins, who came to South Beach two years later to survey the land. He used the land for farming purposes, discovering fresh water and extending his parcel from 14th Street to 67th in 1907.[citation needed]

After his own, gambling father squandered his college savings, New York good guy Matt Evans moves to the fancy resort Southbeach in Florida, where his former girlfriend Arielle Casta is trying to make it as a model, and gets a challenging job in Elizabeth Bauer's hot night club-hotel as security officer and general right hand, making her son Alex terribly jealous. He is followed by his best mate Vincent 'Vince', an incorrigible flirt who keeps flirting with disloyalty as well, even after he gets employed as bodyguard by the honorable gangster Robert Fuentes, who attracts danger for both friends.

The neighborhood of South Beach, comprising the southernmost 2.5 square miles (6.5 km2) of Miami Beach, along with downtown Miami and the Port of Miami, collectively form the commercial center of South Florida.[5] As of the 2010 census, Miami Beach had a total population of 87,779.[6] It has been one of America's pre-eminent beach resorts since the early 20th century. In 1979, Miami Beach's Art Deco Historic District was listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The Art Deco District is the largest collection of Art Deco architecture in the world[7] and comprises hundreds of hotels, apartments and other structures erected between 1923 and 1943. Mediterranean, Streamline Moderne and Art Deco are all represented in the District. The Historic District is bounded by the Atlantic Ocean on the East, Lenox Court on the West, 6th Street on the South and Dade Boulevard along the Collins Canal to the North. The movement to preserve the Art Deco District's architectural heritage was led by former interior designer Barbara Capitman, who now has a street in the District named in her honor.

The quality is amazing but the camera has many flaws and if you understand them you can work around it to create awesome looking videos. The main problem is the focusing. focusing goes off in lighting and when subjects focal length changes. There is no zoom to consider and wide angle is the only angle. Fast panning can cause unstable results, and good lighting is a must as well. The Etosha National Park in the north of Namibia is one of the largest nature reserves in the world. In the dry winter months hundreds of thousands of animals gather and make this park into Africa’s most populated wildlife area. It's LA's second largest city — home to the historic Queen Mary, dozens of hip art galleries, and one of California's best aquariums, Aquarium of the Pacific. Most Long Beach restaurants and shops are found at Shoreline Village. You can check out Wyland's famous Planet Ocean mural at Long Beach Sports Arena, or head to The Pike for a spin on the Ferris wheel. The 3-mile Long Beach Bike Path travels along the waterfront from Shoreline Village to Belmont Shore. Several fun Long Beach events are held throughout the year, including the popular Long Beach Grand Prix (http://www.lbgp.com) in April, and Comic and Horror Con, held twice yearly at Long Beach Convention Center. One of the city's signature attractions is the RMS Queen Mary ship, which has been docked here since 1967. Sailing the Atlantic between 1936 and 1967, it was one of the most luxurious ocean liners of its time. Roughly twice the size of Titanic, the Queen Mary weighs over 81,000 tons and stretches more than 1,000 feet. One of the most impressive galleries is the Tropical Pacific region, where a three-story tall predator tank provides a glimpse of barracudas, giant black sea bass and leopard sharks. In Shark Lagoon, you can pet bamboo, zebra and epaulette sharks in a shallow pool, then feed the birds in Lorikeet Forest. Dozens of Long Beach cruises and whale watching trips are offered throughout the day, along with daily jaunts to Catalina Island.
