Written instructions below for each tutorial:
1.
The Bow Knot-
First you're going to start off in a triangle fold, then fold the scarf in half 4 times. Tie scarf from the front to the back and then the back to the front. Tie the two looped ends together to create a medium sized bow. With the remaining two ends twist them together then wrap the twist around itself like you would a bantu knot.
2.
The Top Knot- Tie the scarf from the back to the front, then while holding scarf to your left side start rolling the ends all the way down then wrap the rolled scarf around itself to create a bun.
3.
Bohemian Side Twist- Tie the scarf from the back to the front then while holding scarf to your left side start twisting the ends all the way down.
Next take scarf around the back and under your head and tuck the end on the opposite side of your head.
4.
The Twist Around- Tie the scarf from the back to the front then while holding scarf to your left side start twisting the ends all the way down. Next take the twisted end across the top front right side of your head and tuck under the back flap of the scarf.
5. The Rosette- Tie the scarf from the back to the front then while holding scarf to your right side start twisting the ends all the way down. Next wrap the twist around itself until you create a bantu knot. Then pull and fan out the ends to create a floral accent.
6. The
Funky Hawk-
Start with the scarf in triangle shape. Next fold the scarf in half once. Starting from the back of the head tie scarf from back to front then front to back. Next tie scarf in knot twice in the back.
Tuck ends under scarf flaps.
Style as you like.
7. The
Danish Roll- Tie the scarf from the back to the front then while holding scarf to your left side start twisting the ends all the way down. Wrap twisted end around itself several times until you create a danish like accent.
8. The Side Bun-
Repeat the above steps but work toward the right side of your head. This style was done while my hair was pinned down in twists.
9. Top Knot Turban- Tie the scarf from the back to the front, then while holding scarf to the center front start rolling the ends all the way down then wrap the rolled scarf around itself to create a bun.
10. The Low Roll-
Create above steps but work toward the back of the head.
11. The Side Pouch- Tie the scarf from the front to the back, then while holding scarf to your left side, began as if you'll tie a knot but leave the pulled through pouch out to the side.
12. The Side Knot- Repeat above steps but actually tie a knot to the left side and bring forward so it lays in the front.
