I was having some fun near my humble christmas tree, and decided to give a try to one of the best rock songs ever: Tush by ZZ Top, off the "Fandango!" album released in 1975. I used a free backing track with vocals, drums and bass, you may find it at guitarbackingtrack(dot)com
I played the song on 1 guitar first. The solos needed a backing guitar so I recorded it later when I was less tipsy.

Based on dozens of interviews with surviving centenarian turpentiners and the memories of Hurd's own grandfather, Jake, "Poet of the Swingin' Blade" is a rich spoken word poem, full of dreams and wonders and hard realities. Part history lesson, part poetry, part American Folklore and all inspiration, "Poet of the Swingin' Blade" is blues drama. Its magic is the wit and tenacity of the turpentiners, truly poets of the swingin' blades that carved the faces of the pines in the deep South.

I was having some fun near my humble christmas tree, and decided to give a try to one of the best rock songs ever: Tush by ZZ Top, off the "Fandango!" album released in 1975. I used a free backing track with vocals, drums and bass, you may find it at guitarbackingtrack(dot)com
I played the song on 1 guitar first. The solos needed a backing guitar so I recorded it later when I was less tipsy.
