Crash Test Kitchen

Crash Test Kitchen (CTK) is the original video cooking podcast and video blog (vlog) as featured in Time magazine. It features creators Warren "Waz" Murray and Leanne "Lenny" White - Australian amateur chefs or 'foodies'. CTK provides short programmes in multiple formats for viewers to follow the adventures (always humorously including all the mistakes with the successes) of Waz and Lenny in their kitchen. New videos are usually posted once a month.

CTK was started in 2005 by Waz and Lenny who were then living in Canada. The program continued to gain success and the podcast became a featured video podcast on iTunes. The program had a short stint 'on the road' across Canada before they moved to London, England until 2012, when they returned to Australia. The web site features archived videos dating back to April 2005, as well as a 'Best of' CTK list. Comments can be left on the site at the bottom of the viewing page for each program.

In the 16 December 2006 issue of Time magazine, the annual "Person of the Year" title was given to "You", meaning the public, particularly independent content creators who used the Internet to post various videos, audio clips, photos, etc. and have had an impact on local or global communities. Among several nominated people to represent "You" were "the Un-Emerils" Waz and Lenny for their success with CTK. 612 ABC News Radio in Brisbane picked up the story as well and an interview with the couple in the Brisbane studio aired 20 December 2006.

Test kitchen

A test kitchen is a kitchen used for the process of developing new kinds of food. On the largest scale, they are run by the research and development departments of large companies in the food industry. Other test kitchens are owned by individuals who enjoy the craft of developing new recipes.

Popular culture

The name has been given to a popular American television show called America's Test Kitchen.

Crash Test 02

Crash Test 02 is the second and final album by Italian band Bloom 06. After many delays, the album was finally released on May 23, 2008. Like their first album, Crash Test 01, this album features lyrics in both English and Italian.

Crash Test 02 Previews

Prior to the album's release, Bloom 06 released multiple previews of various songs from their album on their MySpace page. The first song was Between the Lines, on February 12, 2008. After strong response from their fans, 3 other previews were added, Anche solo per un attimo, Un'altra come te, and Welcome to the Zoo.

After the album's release, You're Amazing and Fall were added to the available preview list.

Singles

"Un'altra come te" was the album's first single, released 2 May 2008. "Between the Lines" was featured as the first track on the band's EP "Club Test 01". An English version of "Un'altra come te" was released in January 2009.

Crash Test 01

Crash Test 01 is the debut album of Bloom 06. The album was released on October 13, 2006. The album was to be Eiffel 65's fourth album but Eiffel 65 members Jeffrey Jey and Maurizio Lobina left Bliss Corporation to pursue interests in their own production company. The track "In the City", also the first single, is based on an Eiffel 65 song, "Living in My City" from their 2003 album Eiffel 65.
