I've been wanting to make a video when I'm at the Comet Sports Awards. It's been a fantastic time there! I won the Sports Personality of the Year Award which sponsored Fit4Less and I was a finalist for The Paul Pearce Disability Award sponsored eatlunch! Before the comments come in about my not so great answering questions for the Q&A; with David Croft, yes I do agree, I don't really consider myself very good at answering questions, but still I felt I did do well, also when I was trying for the cycle up on stage, the reason for all the fumbles and scratches was because it was really hot up on stage which caused my hands to sweat a lot! Here's the complete show of an unsold pilot called "Beane's of Boston," about the goings-on at a small department store in that city, that aired over WBBM Channel 2. Sorry for the crackly-picture - but hey, Channel 2 was crackle-y. This was based on a long-running British TV series, "Are You Being Served?," that ran in Britain on the BBC (British Broadcasting Corporation) between 1972 and 1985, and in Chicago was a frequent staple on WTTW Channel 11 in the 1980's and '90's. The stars of this ultimately misbegotten Americanized version were John Hillerman (a few years before "Magnum, P.I.") as Mr. Peacock, Charlotte Rae as Mrs. Slocombe, Alan Sues (former regular on "Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In") as Mr. Humphries, George O'Hanlon, Jr. (son of the longtime voice of George Jetson on "The Jet...

Grace Brothers is closing down, and instead of the handsome retirement pensions that they all thought they were going to get, the staff has been left a bed and breakfast cottage called Millstone Manor in the English countryside. Now if they want some of their pensions back, they had better get to work! So Mr. Humphries (John Inman), Mrs. Slocombe (Mollie Sugden), Captain Peacock (Frank Thornton), Miss Brahms (Wendy Ri...
