Rover or rovers stems from middle English "roven", which means move around, stray. It may refer to:
Rover was a British marque consisting of cars and (earlier) motorcycles. The brand first appeared in 1885 and dissolved in 2005. It was owned by several companies:
Diane Kruger (born 15 July 1976) is a German actress and former fashion model. She is known for roles such as Helen in Troy, Dr. Abigail Chase in National Treasure and its sequel, Bridget von Hammersmark in Inglourious Basterds, Anna in Mr. Nobody, and Gina in Unknown.
She was born as Diane Heidkrüger in Algermissen, Germany, near Hildesheim, the daughter of a computer specialist Hans-Heinrich Heidkrüger, and his wife, Maria-Theresa, a bank employee. She was raised Roman Catholic and attended Catholic school.
She was raised in Germany with her younger brother, Stefan. Her mother sent her to student exchange programs when she was a teenager to improve her English. As a child, Kruger wanted to become a ballerina and successfully auditioned for the Royal Ballet School in London. However, after an injury ended her ballet career prematurely, Kruger moved to Paris and turned her energy toward modeling and learning French.
Kruger soon became interested in acting and took lessons at the Cours Florent. She landed some small appearances in several French films. She made her onscreen debut in 2002, opposite Dennis Hopper and Christopher Lambert in The Piano Player, a TV-movie by Jean-Pierre Roux. Her first major role was the same year when she starred in her then husband's directorial debut Mon Idole.

Plot: "Two go out, but only one comes back!" That's the conclusion Elmer Fudd's dog, Rover comes to after watching "The Dog Lover's Hour" TV show. It seems that, on this particular installment, the host plans to discuss heartless masters who kill their hunting dogs on trips after they have grown old and worn out their usefulness. Elmer, not knowing what's behind Rover's suddenly hostile, edgy demeanor, suggests the two go on a hunting trip--exactly what Rover doesn't want to hear. Fearing the worst, the paranoid pooch sets up a number of traps to kill off the unsuspecting Elmer. The ill-fated attempts include swiping Elmer's gun and shooting at him from afar, but killing a bear instead; releasing a wildcat on Fudd; and planting a land mine beneath where Elmer rests. Every time, Elmer thinks his dog is saving him from said catastrophies. Later at home, an injured Rover watches TV as another installment of "The Dog Lover's Hour" is set to air, sending the bow-wow over the edge; he runs off to the studio and attacks the show's host!
