The CPU design used in the video is copyrighted by John Scott, author of the book But How Do It Know?.
There are a few small differences between the CPU in the video and the one used in the book. Those differences are listed below but they should not detract from your understanding of either.
CONTROL UNIT - This component is called the Control Section in the book. It is called Control Unit here simply because that is a more common name for it that you might see used elsewhere.
LOAD INSTRUCTION - In this video, what's called a LOAD instruction is actually called a DATA instruction in the book. The Scott CPU uses two different instructions to move data from RAM into the CPU. One loads the very next piece of data (called a DATA instruction in the book) and the other uses another register to tell it which address to pull that data from (called a LOAD instruction in the book). The instruction was renamed in the video for two reasons: 1) It might be confusing to hear that the first type of data we encounter in RAM is itself also called DATA. 2) Since the LOAD instruction from the book is a more complex concept, it was easier to use the DATA instruction in the video to introduce the concept of moving data from RAM to the CPU .
IN and OUT INSTRUCTIONS - In the Scott CPU, there is more involved in moving data between the CPU and external devices than just an IN or an OUT instruction. That process was simplified in the video to make the introduction of the concept easier.
ACCUMULATOR - The register that holds the output of the ALU is called the Accumulator in the book. That is the name typically used for this register, although it was simply called a register in the video.
MEMORY ADDRESS REGISTER - The Memory Address Register is a part of RAM in the book, but it is a part of the CPU in the video. It was placed in the CPU in the video as this is generally where this register resides in real CPUs.
JUMP INSTRUCTIONS - In the book there are two types of unconditional JUMP instructions. One jumps to the address stored at the next address in RAM (this is the one used in the video) and the other jumps to an address that has already been stored in a register. These are called JMP and JMPR instructions in the book respectively.
MISSING COMPONENT - There is an additional component missing from the CPU in the video that is used to add 1 to the number stored in a register. This component is called "bus 1" in the book and it simply overrides the temporary register and sends the number 1 to the ALU as input B instead.
REVERSED COMPONENTS - The Instruction Register and the Instruction Address Register are in opposite positions in the diagrams used in the book. They are reversed in the video because the internal wiring of the control unit will be introduced in a subsequent video and keeping these registers in their original positions made that design process more difficult.
OP CODE WIRING - The wires used by the control unit to tell the ALU what type of operation to perform appear near the bottom of the ALU in the video, but near the top of the ALU in the book. They were reversed for a similar reason as the one listed above. The wiring of the ALU will be introduced in a subsequent video and keeping these wires at the top of the ALU made the design process more difficult.

In this small project I will show you how I repurposed an old AMD CPU to create a small, light and easy to use electric hand warmer. With the help of a small portable power bank this gadget can warm you up for around 2 and a half hours and can easily reach temperatures up to 60 degrees celcius.

The central processing unit (CPU, occasionally central processor unit) is the hardware within a computer system which carries out the instructions of a computer program by performing the basic arithmetical, logical, and input/output operations of the system. The CPU plays a role somewhat analogous to the brain in the computer. The term has been in use in the computer industry at least since the early 1960s. The form, design, and implementation of CPUs have changed dramatically since the earliest examples, but their fundamental operation remains much the same.
On large machines, CPUs require one or more printed circuit boards. On personal computers and small workstations, the CPU is housed in a single silicon chip called a microprocessor. Since the 1970s the microprocessor class of CPUs has almost completely overtaken all other CPU implementations. Modern CPUs are large scale integrated circuits in packages typically less than four centimeters square, with hundreds of connecting pins.
Two typical components of a CPU are the arithmetic logic unit (ALU), which performs arithmetic and logical operations, and the control unit (CU), which extracts instructions from memory and decodes and executes them, calling on the ALU when necessary.

There are a few small differences between the CPU in the video and the one used in the book. Those differences are listed below but they should not detract from your understanding of either.
CONTROL UNIT - This component is called the Control Section in the book. It is called Control Unit here simply because that is a more common name for it that you might see used elsewhere.
LOAD INSTRUCTION - In this video, what's called a LOAD instruction is actually called a DATA instruction in the book. The Scott CPU uses two different instructions to move data from RAM into the CPU. One loads the very next piece of data (called a DATA instruction in the book) and the other uses another register to tell it which address to pull that data from (called a LOAD instruction in the book). The instruction was renamed in the video for two reasons: 1) It might be confusing to hear that the first type of data we encounter in RAM is itself also called DATA. 2) Since the LOAD instruction from the book is a more complex concept, it was easier to use the DATA instruction in the video to introduce the concept of moving data from RAM to the CPU .
IN and OUT INSTRUCTIONS - In the Scott CPU, there is more involved in moving data between the CPU and external devices than just an IN or an OUT instruction. That process was simplified in the video to make the introduction of the concept easier.
ACCUMULATOR - The register that holds the output of the ALU is called the Accumulator in the book. That is the name typically used for this register, although it was simply called a register in the video.
MEMORY ADDRESS REGISTER - The Memory Address Register is a part of RAM in the book, but it is a part of the CPU in the video. It was placed in the CPU in the video as this is generally where this register resides in real CPUs.
JUMP INSTRUCTIONS - In the book there are two types of unconditional JUMP instructions. One jumps to the address stored at the next address in RAM (this is the one used in the video) and the other jumps to an address that has already been stored in a register. These are called JMP and JMPR instructions in the book respectively.
MISSING COMPONENT - There is an additional component missing from the CPU in the video that is used to add 1 to the number stored in a register. This component is called "bus 1" in the book and it simply overrides the temporary register and sends the number 1 to the ALU as input B instead.
REVERSED COMPONENTS - The Instruction Register and the Instruction Address Register are in opposite positions in the diagrams used in the book. They are reversed in the video because the internal wiring of the control unit will be introduced in a subsequent video and keeping these registers in their original positions made that design process more difficult.

昨日より稼動したマキブONよりG-セルフの動画を上げさせていただきます。正直フォースを買って練習しておけばと後悔。バルバトスとマックナイフはこれ以上に酷い動画になったので一定数の希望がなければ撮りなおします。(次の撮影予定は未定ですが)ヴィレさんとの二人旅の時までにちゃんと研究しておきます・・・。 勝利ポーズは3種類、決着時に装備しているバックパックで変わるみたいです。では武装説明を。宇宙用バックパックはメインがビームライフル、サブが分身飛ばし、特射で換装、特格で高トルクパック呼び出し、下格闘がプレッシャー、格闘はN格に前派生があるみたいです。(この動画ではその存在を知らなかったので次の機会に)前格は射撃バリア持ちです。リフレクターパックは前格でデレンセン教官を倒した時のモーション、アサルトパックは変形することで換装可能。特射が当たればかなり持っていけそうです。覚醒技は確か高トルクパックが出た回でアルケインを救出する時の再現だったではずです。 さてマキブONについていくつか。覚醒は3種類ありまして、今回はエクテンドバーストという回避に特化したものです。半覚から抜け覚ができ、斜めステップに覚醒落ちしても覚醒ゲージがたまります。(7分20秒)体力はフルブの時に戻り、ダメージ量はマキブなので試合はすぐに終わってしまいますね。なので調子に乗っているとすぐに溶かされます。オンライン対戦は180秒、各地でラグが酷いと聞きましたが自分はそういったことがなかったです。(2戦しかしてませんが)各機体の武装SE、BGM、効果音も変更、上げればキリがないです。ブランチバトルも全面的に特に大きく変わっておらず、ステージや機体編成が変わったくらいです。さてラスボスのイクスですがもう言うことないですよね・・・。あのビジュアル・・・。また通常の機体サイズですのでスパアマがない時は格闘も入ります。 ... -

Mein Rechner hat ist sicher noch nicht Reif für die Müllhalde, aber es lässt sich doch noch einiges rausholen: CPU, RAM, Grafikkarte - alles Bauteile, welche sich schnell und Einfach austauschen lassen. In meinem Fall gib es nichts Neues, sondern lediglich gebrauchte Komponenten, welche etwas mehr Leistung bringen sollten. Der bisherige 4-Kern-Prozessor muss einem 6-Kerner weichen, die 20GB RAM werden auf das CPU-Limit von 24GB ergänzt und die beiden treibertechnisch nur noch notdürftig bedienten GeForce 6600GT aus dem Jahr 2004 weicht einer 8 Jahre neueren GTX660. Intro and background: With this generation of Intel processors, Intel decided to cut corners and use very cheap TIM (thermal interface material) between the bare CPU die and the top IHS (integrated heat spreader). Cheap TIM does not transfer heat away from the die well, that's why Ivy Bridge processor heat up very fast, especially when overclocking. With Sandy Bridge and earlier CPU's, Intel used fluxless soldering between the CPU die and the IHS, so they do not have this problem.
By taking the IHS off of Ivy Bridge processors to apply a better TIM, you can get a significant reduction in temperatures without needing additional cooling hardware. As a result from this simple mod, you may get a higher max overclock, more stable results, or reduction in fan noise for a quieter computer.
Do not try this with Sandy Bridge or earlier processor generations since they are soldered on, and much harder to remove the IHS. At the time of this video, here are all the Ivy Bridge models that this works on:

Why are there so many people that don't know how Training mode works? If this was done in Training, there wouldn't be any match starts, stock counts, match ends, timers, nor replays. Seriously, if you're going to try "debunking" this video, please learn how Training works before making an ass of yourself in the comments.
*"Luigi jumped against Wario when he got knocked off the stage!"
See that spring on Windy Hill Zone? You touch it, it bounces you automatically, nevermind the fact Luigi went way higher than he would with any jump and the very obvious spring sound that plays upon touching it.
*"Level 9 CPUs read inputs! If you don't do anything, they don't know what to do!"
Not an accusation, but it's a common explanation for this video that I see people keep passing around, that is completely bullshit. First, the AI does not "read your inputs", it's a stupid myth from the Brawl days that has been debunked over and over, AI just have frame-perfect reactions. Second, doing nothing doesn't "screw up" the AI, they fight just as competently (or incompetently) as before. What makes this video possible is simply the AI having terrible stage awareness, the act of doing nothing itself has no impact on the AI's play.

初日から大盛況だったマキブON、朝から夜まで人がたくさんいました。(昼間から夕方にかけてはいかなかったので分かりませんが)そういったこともあって空いている時間帯も分からないので撮影頻度、そして1回の撮影時間もかなり短いのでリクエストはまだ待ってください。

昨日より稼動したマキブONよりG-セルフの動画を上げさせていただきます。正直フォースを買って練習しておけばと後悔。バルバトスとマックナイフはこれ以上に酷い動画になったので一定数の希望がなければ撮りなおします。(次の撮影予定は未定ですが)ヴィレさんとの二人旅の時までにちゃんと研究しておきます・・・。
勝利ポーズは3種類、決着時に装備しているバックパックで変わるみたいです。では武装説明を。宇宙用バックパックはメインがビームライフル、サブが分身飛ばし、特射で換装、特格で高トルクパック呼び出し、下格闘がプレッシャー、格闘はN格に前派生があるみたいです。(この動画ではその存在を知らなかったので次の機会に)前格は射撃バリア持ちです。リフレクターパックは前格でデレンセン教官を倒した時のモーション、アサルトパックは変形することで換装可能。特射が当たればかなり持っていけそうです。覚醒技は確か高トルクパックが出た回でアルケインを救出する時の再現だったではずです。
さてマキブONについていくつか。覚醒は3種類ありまして、今回はエクテンドバーストという回避に特化したものです。半覚から抜け覚ができ、斜めステップに覚醒落ちしても覚醒ゲージがたまります。(7分20秒)体力はフルブの時に戻り、ダメージ量はマキブなので試合はすぐに終わってしまいますね。なので調子に乗っているとすぐに溶かされます。オンライン対戦は180秒、各地でラグが酷いと聞きましたが自分はそういったことがなかったです。(2戦しかしてませんが)各機体の武装SE、BGM、効果音も変更、上げればキリがないです。ブランチバトルも全面的に特に大きく変わっておらず、ステージや機体編成が変わったくらいです。さてラスボスのイクスですがもう言うことないですよね・・・。あのビジュアル・・・。また通常の機体サイズですのでスパアマがない時は格闘も入ります。
初日から大盛況だったマキブON、朝から夜まで人がたくさんいました。(昼間から夕方にかけてはいかなかったので分かりませんが)そういったこともあって空いている時間帯も分からないので撮影頻度、そして1回の撮影時間もかなり短いのでリクエストはまだ待ってください。

Now most of the time you have seen technical people restarting sql services, or killing long running processes and even restarting complete server, and they can avoid this situation. Before starting any thing I would like to discuss a common myth people have that this is happening because of long running queries only. Which is not all ways true, some times:
Longer running query can be problem
Query having maximum worker time are also problem
Query execution count can also cause problem

ขออธิบายเรื่อง cpu exynos ของs4 ฮะ เค้าบอกว่ามันเป็น octa core หรือว่า 8 core แต่จริงๆเเล้วมันไม่ใช่ 8 Core จริงๆ เพราะว่ามันไม่ได้ทำงานพร้อมกัน
มันประกอบไปด้วย A15 1 ตัวเเล้วก็ A7 1 ตัว แบ่งกันทำงาน พอจะเล่นเกม A15 รันขึ้นมาทำงาน พอไม่ได้เล่นเกม A7 รันขึ้นมาทำงานแทน เพราะว่า A7 ประหยัดไฟกว่า A15 3 เท่า นั่นหมายความว่าถ้าคุณเล่นเกมหนักๆ A15 ก็จะทำงานหนัก เครื่องก็จะร้อนและกินไฟมากกว่า
ปัจจุบันตัวที่มาแรงก็คงไม่พ้น MTK ที่อยู่ใน IQ เกือบทุกรุ่น ทั้งนี้ทั้งนั้นก็เพราะว่า CPU MTK6589 เนี่ย มันสามารถคุมเรื่องความร้อนได้เป็นอย่างดี ที่สำคัญประหยักแบตอีกด้วย
Qualcomm Snapdragon รุ่นต่างๆกำลังได้รับความนิยมอย่างมากในมือถือระดับ Flagship ของแต่ละยี่ห้อ แน่นอนว่าความแรงนั้นมันแรงอยู่เเล้วละ แต่มันมีปัญหาเรื่องความร้อน ส่วนแบตกินไฟระดับกลางๆ
Tegra คือชิปที่สามารถเล่นเกมได้ดีมาก อันนี้มันชัดเจน แต่ปัญหาแน่ๆคือ มันกินแบตมากที่สุดเท่าที่เราเคยใช้มาเลยทีเดียว (พิธักรใช้ LG 4X HD)

Wenn gerade mal kein neuer Rechner zum Bau "rumliegt", greifen wir uns halt mal die vorhandene Hardware und spielen ein wenig "Bäumchen wechsel dich". Mein Rechner hat ist sicher noch nicht Reif für die Müllhalde, aber es lässt sich doch noch einiges rausholen: CPU, RAM, Grafikkarte - alles Bauteile, welche sich schnell und Einfach austauschen lassen. In meinem Fall gib es nichts Neues, sondern lediglich gebrauchte Komponenten, welche etwas mehr Leistung bringen sollten. Der bisherige 4-Kern-Prozessor muss einem 6-Kerner weichen, die 20GB RAM werden auf das CPU-Limit von 24GB ergänzt und die beiden treibertechnisch nur noch notdürftig bedienten GeForce 6600GT aus dem Jahr 2004 weicht einer 8 Jahre neueren GTX660.
Der Wechsel der CPU ging schnell und ohne Probleme. Der selbstgebastelte Lüfter musste jedoch schnell einem "Echten" weichen. Auch die Grafikkarte bereitete keine nennenswerten Probleme. Der Arbeitsspeicher ist hardwaretechnisch schnell getauscht, bereitete aber den größten Ärger: Durch massivie Kompatibilitätsprobleme fühlte ich mich wie in den 90ern. Am Ende steht aber ein aufgefrischtes System, welches mit wenig Geld für die nächsten Jahre gerüstet sein sollte.
