Hey everyone, here's my US Airways Airbus A321 Full Flight Experience video, flying flight 413 with nonstop service from EWR to PHX! FLIGHT EXPERIENCE: Information about US Airways: US Airways is a major US airline that is now part of American Airlines. US Airways had 193 destinations in 24 countries in North America, South America, Europe and the Middle East. The new American Airlines is part of the OneWorld Alliance, and US Airways was part of Star Alliance. US Airways had a fleet of 338 mainline aircraft and 278 regional jets and turboprops. The new American Airlines contains 964 mainline aircraft. On this Airbus A321, there was no in flight entertainment system. They do give complimentary beverages, but there is a cost for snacks and food. The airline does have meal boxes for purchase as well. The legroom in the A321 was great and better than I expected. The seats were comfortable and soft, but the seat I sat in had limited recline due to the flight attendant seat behind me. Seats: On the Airbus A321, US Airways has First and Economy class sections, with 16 First class seats and 171 economy seats. There are 34 rows in the Airbus 321, with a 2-2 configuration in first class and the standard 3-3 config in economy. The first class seats are 21 inches wide and have a seat pitch of 38 inches. Economy class seats are 18 inches wide and have a pitch of 32 inches. The legroom was very reasonable in this airplane. Food/Beverage: US Airways uses the standard cart to push around in the aisle, carrying the drinks/cans in them. US Airways serves a selection of complimentary beverages, with more offered in the menu for a cost. There is also a large selection of snacks and meals on the menu but they are a bit pricey. I was allowed to visit the cockpit at the end of the flight and the chief purser was happy to assist. Delays : Our departure time was 10 minutes late, and we arrived on time. In-Flight Entertainment: US Airways does not offer TV / Music service entertainment on it's Airbus A321. They do offer Gogo Wi-Fi connection for purchase. Bags over 50 lbs / 22kg are considered overweight, and dimensions over 62 - 126 in / 157 - 320cm (height/width/length) are considered oversize. One personal item and carry on is allowed on the aircraft for no charge. The carry on bag can be up to 45 inches.
