A number of trigraphs are found in the Latin script, most of these used especially in Irish orthography.

A

⟨aai⟩ is used in Dutch to write the sound /aːi̯/.

⟨abh⟩ is used in Irish to write the sound /əu̯/, or in Donegal, /oː/, between broad consonants.

⟨adh⟩ is used in Irish to write the sound /əi̯/, or in Donegal, /eː/, between broad consonants, or an unstressed /ə/ at the end of a word.

⟨aei⟩ is used in Irish to write the sound /eː/ between a broad and a slender consonant.

⟨agh⟩ is used in Irish to write the sound /əi̯/, or in Donegal, /eː/, between broad consonants.

⟨aim⟩ is used in French to write the sound /ɛ̃/ (/ɛm/ before a vowel).

⟨ain⟩ is used in French to write the sound /ɛ̃/ (/ɛn/ before a vowel). It also represents /ɛ̃/ in Tibetan Pinyin, where it is alternatively written än.

⟨aío⟩ is used in Irish to write the sound /iː/ between broad consonants.

⟨amh⟩ is used in Irish to write the sound /əu̯/, or in Donegal, /oː/, between broad consonants.

Video editor

A video editor is a technically inclined individual that is involved with making creative video editing decisions in the post-production of film making and video production. The video editor's responsibilities involve decisions about the selection and combining of shots into sequences, and the addition of accompanying sound effects and music to ultimately create a finished movie, television program, commercial, promo, or snipe.

A video editor can also refer to a computer device controller that controls video machines to mechanically put pieces of a film together using a 9-Pin Protocol. This is also referred to as machine to machine or linear editing.

Video editors usually use non-linear editing software today to accomplish the task of editing.

Video

Video is an electronic medium for the recording, copying, playback, broadcasting, and display of moving visual media.

Video systems vary greatly in the resolution of the display, how they are refreshed, and the rate of refreshed, and 3D video systems exist. They can also be carried on a variety of media, including radio broadcast, tapes, DVDs, computer files etc.

History

Video technology was first developed for Mechanical television systems, which were quickly replaced by cathode ray tube (CRT) television systems, but several new technologies for video display devices have since been invented. Charles Ginsburg led an Ampex research team developing one of the first practical video tape recorder (VTR). In 1951 the first video tape recorder captured live images from television cameras by converting the camera's electrical impulses and saving the information onto magnetic video tape.

Video recorders were sold for $50,000 in 1956, and videotapes cost $300 per one-hour reel. However, prices gradually dropped over the years; in 1971, Sony began selling videocassette recorder (VCR) decks and tapes to the public.

Software products

NCH Software provides software programs for audio, video, business, dictation and transcription, graphics, telephony and other utilities. On September 26, 2014, cnet.com showed their most-frequently downloaded program from NCH Software was WavePad Sound Editor Masters Edition.

VideoPad is a video editing application developed by NCH Software for the home and professional market. VideoPad is part of a suite that integrates with other software created by NCH Software. This other software includes WavePad, a sound-editing program; MixPad, a sound-mixing program; PhotoPad, an image editor; and Prism a Video Format Converter.

Controversy

Some computer security companies categorized NCH software as bloatware because it bundled the Google Chrome Toolbar. In July 2015, NCH Software announced it was no longer bundling the Google toolbar. As at November 30, 2015, NCH Software is marked clean by all antivirus products.
