Plot: THE LIGHT portrays the loss of innocence - of life - and parallels good vs. evil, angels versus demons and light versus dark. As a young man, Adam, ventures away from the light, he finds himself in a hellishly dark warehouse. Adam discovers a religious artifact and is immediately accosted by a ruthless ex-con, "Old Scratch," and his two cohorts. Violence ensues and it appears that evil has once again prevailed.

Plot: A depressed and destitute Nick Irons, a tennis pro banned from the tour for slugging a player during a TV match, agrees to coach a bookie's "head case" son, Joel, who wants to turn pro. The bookie wants his son to get out of tennis and contracts Nick to discourage him. Nick begins to do that but after an episode with his old flame, Jennifer, and after seeing the kid's determination he decides to teach him all the tricks, both physical and psychological, of the trade. The two battle the kids of a famous coach, unfair refs., injuries, travel all over the southern US, while Nick tries to woo his love back, finally to reach the big championship tennis match where all is resolved in dramatic fashion.

Plot: Jack Deebs is a cartoonist who is due to be released from jail. His comic book "Cool World" describes a zany world populated by "doodles" (cartoon characters) and "noids" (humanoids). What Jack did't realize is that Cool World really does exist, and a "doodle" scientist has just perfected a machine which links Cool World with our world. Intrigued at seeing his creating come to life, Jack is nonetheless wary as he knows that not everything in Cool World is exactly friendly.

Plot: Stockbroker Joe Downey('Warren Douglas (I)' (qv)), mistaken in the dark for gangster "Slats" Slattery ('Robert Osterloh' (qv)), is brutally beaten by a rival gangster, "Knuckles" Morgan ('Meyer Grace' (qv)), and Downey winds up in jail on a drunk charge. Plot: When Public Enemy No. 3 Sonny McGann meets composer Bob Gunther, he gets the idea of having Bob write music to a poem he has written about his long-lost sweetheart Sadie McGlonsky. Somewhere between kidnapping and gentle persuasion, Sonny takes Bob and his girlfriend Linda Carroll to his penthouse hideout and orders Bob to write the music. After completion, Sonny and his mob use some strong-arm persuasion to get it on "The Hit Parade." Bob tries to trick Sonny saying he can't write any more music because of his unrequited love for music comedy star Magda Delys. Sonny's solution is to have his men bring Magda and a minister with a marriage license to the penthouse. Bob is forced to begin the ceremony but Public Enemy No. 2, Big Foot Louie, barges in and reveals that his own hobby is writing music. And Sonny recognizes Magda as his long-lost love Sadie McGlonsky. He and Big Foot decide to quit the rackets and surrender to the District Attorney so they can collaborate on writing hit songs "in the pen."

Plot: When the First Union National Bank of Williamstown is robbed, the three bank robbers get away by hitching their car to Wilbur's trailer. When the police find part of Wilbur's coat in front of the open safe, they suspect bank teller Wilbur of being in on the robbery. But according to Carol, Wilbur is not smart enough to rob a bank and it shows. While on the run, they come into contact with Julie, the copper heiress, and make plans to have Wilbur help kidnap her. Of course, Wilbur has no clue as to their true intentions.

Plot: It opens in 1926 when three bank robbers, Theodore Kedrich, Jan Imarski, and Petra Lonelli, stage a daring daylight bank robbery and get away with a million dollars in cash. They are soon apprehended and sent to prison for ten years but the money is not recovered. Flash forward to 1936 when all three men have been released from prison and are about to be deported back to where they came from via the Deportation department at Ellis Island. They arrive by the ferry boat and already on hand to bid them adieu, and possibly learn where they stashed the missing money, is gang leader Dude and his three henchmen, Nails, Moxie and Bugs, and also Kendrich's niece Betty Parker there to bid old Uncle Ted a fond goodbye. Also on Ellis Island is a crook called Solo, who has an upper hand as he has stolen the credentials of a Treasury Agent named Peter James and has access to the prisoners, and has cut a deal with Kendrichs to get him off of Ellis Island.
