She-Ra: Princess of Power

She-Ra: Princess of Power is an American animated television series produced in 1985 by Filmation. A spin-off of Filmation's He-Man and the Masters of the Universe series, She-Ra was aimed primarily at a young female audience to counterbalance He-Man's popularity with young males. Unlike the He-Man cartoon, which was based on the Masters of the Universe toy line by Mattel, the creation of She-Ra was a collaboration between Filmation and Mattel. The initial group of characters and premise were created by Filmation, while the characters introduced later were designed by Mattel. Mattel provided financial backing for the show, as well as an accompanying toyline. The series premiered in 1985 and was cancelled in 1986, after 2 seasons and 93 episodes.

On March 22, 1985, Filmation released an animated movie based on the series titled, He-Man and She-Ra: The Secret of the Sword. The film is composed of five episodes from the She-Ra television series: "Into Etheria", "Beast Island", "She-Ra Unchained", "Reunions" and "Battle For Bright Moon".

A Trip (Slovene: Izlet) is a 2011 Slovenian drama film directed by Nejc Gazvoda. The film was selected as the Slovenian entry for the Best Foreign Language Oscar at the 85th Academy Awards, but it did not make the final shortlist.

Lilly Saini Singh (pronounced [lɪli sɪŋɡʱ]; born 26 September 1988), better known by her YouTube username Superwoman (styled "IISuperwomanII"), is an Indo-Canadian YouTube personality, vlogger, and comedian. Since beginning her channel in October 2010, her videos have received over 1 billion views, and her channel has accumulated over 7.8 million subscribers. In 2015, she ranked 8th on the Forbes list of World's Highest Paid YouTube Stars, earning a reported $3 million in 2015. Singh was part of YouTube Rewind 2014 and led YouTube Rewind 2015.

Early life and education

Singh was born in Scarborough, Ontario, Canada, to Malwinder and Sukhwinder Singh, who are originally from Punjab, India. She was raised in the Rajput Sikh tradition. Singh has an older sister named Tina. As a child, Singh was a tomboy. She attended Mary Shadd Public School during her elementary years and high school at Lester B. Pearson Collegiate Institute, graduating in 2006. She has a bachelor's degree in psychology from York University. Singh developed a strong connection with her Punjabi heritage during visits to India. She struggled with depression, and began making YouTube videos as a way of dealing with her feelings.

YouTube Red

YouTube Red is a paid subscription service offered by YouTube to internet users in the United States; it provides advertising-free streaming of videos hosted by the service, offline and background playback of videos on mobile devices, access to new original content, and access to advertising-free music streaming in November 2014. It offered ad-free streaming of music and music videos from participating labels on YouTube and Google Play Music. The service was re-launched in a revised form as YouTube Red on October 28, 2015, expanding its scope to offer ad-free access to all YouTube videos, as opposed to just music, as well as premium content produced in collaboration with notable YouTube producers and personalities.

History

The service was first unveiled in November 2014 as Music Key, serving as a collaboration between YouTube and Google Play Music, and meant to succeed the former's own subscription service. Music Key offered ad-free playback of music videos from participating labels hosted on YouTube, as well as background and offline playback of music videos on mobile devices from within the YouTube app. The service also included access to Google Play Music All Access, which provides ad-free audio streaming of a library of music. Alongside Music Key, Google also introduced tighter integration between Play Music and YouTube's apps, including the sharing of music recommendations, and access to YouTube's music videos from within the Play Music app. Music Key was not YouTube's first foray into premium content, having launched film rentals in 2010, and premium, subscription-based channels in 2013.
