I've always been enamored by the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Black Series, now having driven it that's confirmed! To be quite honest, it's an epic piece of kit and truly explains why the price tags are now circa £500,000 - double the launch price just a few years ago.
With the most incredible of naturally aspirated V8s, 6.2 litres with 631PS to be exact, incredible looks by taking the already aggressive SLS AMG and widening it with added carbon wing and canards for both aero and looks - it's quite a statement.
The only problem; this is a car I would love to one day own but there aren't many out there, and they aren't cheap either!

The Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG is a luxury grand tourer automobile developed by Mercedes-Benz AMG to replace the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren. The car is the first Mercedes automobile designed in-house by AMG and is described by Mercedes as a spiritual successor to the 300SL Gullwing.
The vehicle was unveiled at the 2009 Frankfurt Auto Show. Sales will begin in mid-2010 in Europe with MSRP of €177,310 (including taxes) and in the United States in mid-2011 for less than $200,000. Promotional advertisements of the SLS AMG have also begun airing in India as well from April 2010. The SLS AMG is featured as the cover car for the upcoming PlayStation 3 racing game Gran Turismo 5, and is the safety car for the 2010 Formula One season.

Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG
The Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG (C197 / R197) is a front-engine, 2-seater luxury, limited production supercar automobile developed by Mercedes-AMG of German automaker Mercedes-Benz and was the first Mercedes-Benz automobile designed in-house by AMG. The car, which has gull-wing doors, was the successor to the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren and was described by Mercedes-Benz as a spiritual successor to the Mercedes-Benz 300SL Gullwing. SLS stands for "Sport Leicht Super" (Sport Light Super). The Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG was assembled largely by hand, with its chassis and aluminum body shell produced by Magna Steyr in Graz, Austria and then transferred to Sindelfingen, Germany for assembly, with its engine being hand built by AMG in Affalterbach, Germany.
It was the first Mercedes-Benz designed and built from scratch entirely by AMG. Upon its introduction the SLS AMG's 571 PS (420 kW; 563 hp) M159 engine was according to AMG "the world's most powerful naturally aspirated production series engine" ever produced. The SLS AMG was also Mercedes-Benz's last naturally aspirated engine.

Head 2 Head
Head 2 Head was a sports quiz show that aired on ABC TV in Australia between 18 February and 9 December 2006 and broadcast on Saturday evenings initially at 6 pm, then at 5 pm. The show was hosted by Ashley Bradnam and produced by Nick Price.
Quiz format
The show format was for two contestants to answers sports trivia questions over four "quarters".
In the first quarter, competitors would answer ten general questions, all of which were either multiple choice or "true or false". One point was awarded for a correct answer and there was no penalty for an incorrect answer.
In the second quarter, competitors would answer up to twenty questions on a specialty topic in a maximum period of two minutes. The topics would be chosen by the contestants several weeks prior to the show. As with the first quarter, one point was awarded for a correct answer and there was no penalty for an incorrect answer.
The third quarter lasts two minutes and is a more traditional quiz show "buzzer round", again with general sports questions. One point is awarded for a correct answer but one point is now lost for an incorrect answer.

I've always been enamored by the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Black Series, now having driven it that's confirmed! To be quite honest, it's an epic piece of kit and truly explains why the price tags are now circa £500,000 - double the launch price just a few years ago.
With the most incredible of naturally aspirated V8s, 6.2 litres with 631PS to be exact, incredible looks by taking the already aggressive SLS AMG and widening it with added carbon wing and canards for both aero and looks - it's quite a statement.
The only problem; this is a car I would love to one day own but there aren't many out there, and they aren't cheap either!
