Fast Eddie (born Edwin A. Smith; January 20, 1969) is an American house producer from Chicago, Illinois.
Prior to his entry into the realm of production, Fast Eddie was one of the premier DJs of the early Chicago house movement. His talents earned him spots on WGCI and WBMX. During that period, he produced one of his first singles in collaboration with Kenny "Jammin'" Jason entitled "Can You Dance", circa 1986. In 1987, Eddie came out with other house tracks such as "The Whop", based on the dance of the same name. Eddie then left WGCI for WBMX for a short time and then quit his radio DJ gigs to concentrate on producing. In 1988, Eddie scored one of his biggest hits with "Acid Thunder" on the DJ International label. However, it was the track "Hip House" that really established his career as a producer. Eddie popularized the genre of hip house.
He scored several hits on the US Billboard Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart in the late 1980s and early 1990s, including "Git On Up" (featuring Sundance), which spent a week at number one in 1989, but only reached number 49 in the UK Singles Chart.

Edward Allan Clarke (born 5 October 1950, Twickenham, London) better known as "Fast" Eddie Clarke, is a guitarist who was a member of British heavy metal bands Fastway and Motörhead. As of 28 December 2015, he is the last surviving member of Motörhead's classic lineup.
Clarke began playing guitar and by the time he was aged fifteen had been through many local bands, one of which was called The Bitter End. He continued playing local gigs until 1973, when he turned professional by joining Curtis Knight's band, Zeus, as lead guitarist. In 1974, the band recorded an album called The Second Coming at Olympic Studios. Clarke wrote the music to Knight's lyrics, on a track entitled "The Confession".
Clarke also recorded the album Sea of Time with Zeus. Later with guitarist friend Allan Callan, keyboard player Nicky Hogarth, and drummer Chris Perry, Clarke attended a recorded jam session at Command Studios in Piccadilly. As a result of the tracks from this session, the quartet secured a deal with Anchor Records, and called the band Blue Goose. With a recording contract secured, Clarke, Hogarth and Perry left Zeus to focus on their own project with Callan.

The Lochem Pop Festival at the open-air theater in Lochem was organized by Joost Carlier and was a very successful pop festival. Many famous artists were on stage and the festival was mostly packed with people. People were even sitting or hanging in the trees to be able to catch a glimpse of their idol/idols. When it comes to the Motorhead show that took place on 15th of May 1980 there have been a few tracks circulating from a Radio broadcast at the time but now finally a complete recording has shown up and it has here been spread on a glorious double album featuring the tracks from the Radio broadcast as bonus. Motörhead back in 1980 was nothing but musical brilliance, you have Lemmys unmistakable sandpaper vocals, the skilful playing of guitarist Fast Eddie Clarke and the maniac drum...

Fast Eddie thought he was free
Cutting and conniving, confiding in me, he said
"I've got a fast car that shimmers and shines
My name is know up and down the line!"
He wants that kick-back whiplash living it up
Like those big bad kids that like it rough
I want that badge back Mama
Been living in a dark place, oh yeah
I've got no place to go
I want to ride tonight
As a witness to that war outside
Your hands in mine like the hands of time
Hey man I want to figure it out
I want the goddamn answers and I need them now
"I don't want to put up a fight
I don't want to take your hand tonight!"
I want that badge back Mama
Been living in a dark place
I want that badge back Mama
Been living in a dark place, oh yeah
I've got no place to go
I want to ride tonight
As a witness to that war outside
Your hands in mine like the hands of time
Nostalgia prunes, eats away at his skin
It's like high-noon with no way to win
I'll pull that old rifle right out of the ground
With my new shades on I'm gonna take this town
I want that badge back Mama
Been living in a dark place, oh yeah
I want that badge back Mama
Been living in a dark place, oh yeah
I've got no place to go
I want to ride tonight
As a witness to that war outside
