Grants Victoria is a directory of Victorian Government grants and assistance. Here you’ll find general information about grants and assistance for individuals, businesses and communities that can help you:

  • fund ideas and initiatives;
  • develop local and national solutions;
  • get assistance in times of hardship; and
  • access further information.

Victorian Government includes Departments, statutory authorities and government business enterprises.

Grants include funding programs, individual grants, fellowships and scholarships.

Assistance includes help or support in various forms for example, government concessions, such as the seniors card and the winter gas concession, goods, such as water saving rebates and shower heads, or funds,  such as the community safety fund grant, for citizens of Victoria.

      2015-16 Boating Safety and Facilities Program

      The Boating Safety and Facilities Program is a State Government funding program that plays an important role in making boating safer and more accessible for all Victorians. The program has a total of $8 million in funding to distribute to projects across the state.

      Applications are now open for the 2015-16 round and will be accepted up until 16 September 2015. Applications for the aids to navigation category will be accepted up until 30 June 2016. All applicants to this category should discuss their project with Transport Safety Victoria (Waterway Management Unit) in the first instance.

      2016 Marketing Innovation Fund

      The 2016 Marketing Innovation Fund provides one-off support for discrete marketing projects within the creative industries across Victoria with the aim of encouraging new marketing ideas and initiatives and new approaches to marketing.

      It encourages marketers in small to medium creative industries organisations (less than 30 FTE staff) to implement new and innovative projects which have the potential to inform core marketing activities in the future.

      2016 Participation for CALD Seniors Grants program

      Regularly connecting with people is an important part of a fulfilling and healthy lifestyle. Evidence shows that older people from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds are often at a higher risk of social isolation due to a range of factors.
      The Participation for CALD Seniors grants program is a small grants program that offers grants to organisations to create or expand social participation opportunities for socially isolated CALD seniors. Grants of up to $10,000 are available.

      The School Shade Grants Program is a Victorian Government initiative that provides grants for shade development in Victorian Government schools. Schools may apply for one grant of up to $25,000 (excluding GST). Funding is provided to build new shade, repair existing built shade structures or create natural shade by planting trees. Schools may apply for a combination of built and natural shade.
