Lucky Penny Thoughts: Here is the next oven in our kids oven series! The oven included a pizza hut sign with the "Pizza, Pizza" guy. The oven worked great and I was able to make three pizzas. Pizza 
i/ˈpiːtsə/ is an oven-baked, flat, round bread typically topped with a tomato sauce, cheese and various toppings.
After its invention in Naples, the dish has become popular in many parts of the world. An establishment that makes and sells pizzas is called a "pizzeria".
Pizza (Italian pronunciation: [ˈpittsa], from the Latin verb pìnsere, to press) is Greek in origin. The Ancient Greeks covered their bread with oils, herbs and cheese. In Byzantine Greek, the word was spelled πίτα or pita, meaning pie. The word has now spread to Turkish as pide, and Bulgarian, Croatian and Serbian as pita, Albanian as pite and Modern Hebrew pittāh. The Romans developed placenta, a sheet of dough topped with cheese and honey and flavored with bay leaves. Modern pizza originated in Italy as the Neapolitan pie with tomato. In 1889, cheese was added.
In 1889, during a visit to Naples, Queen Margherita of Italy was served a pizza resembling the colors of the Italian flag, red (tomato), white (mozzarella) and green (basil). This kind of pizza has been named after the Queen as Pizza Margherita.

Pizza Hut is an American restaurant chain and international franchise that offers different styles of pizza along with side dishes including salad, pasta, buffalo wings, breadsticks, garlic bread and desserts.
Corporately known as Pizza Hut, Inc., it is a subsidiary of Yum! Brands, Inc., the world's largest restaurant company.
As of 2012, there were more than 6,000 Pizza Hut restaurants in the United States, and more than 5,139 store locations in 94 other countries and territories around the world.
First Pizza Hut Building, Wichita, Kansas
Pizza Hut was founded on June 15, 1958 by brothers Dan and Frank Carney in their hometown of Wichita, Kansas. When a friend suggested opening a pizza parlor—then a rarity—they agreed that the idea could prove successful, and they borrowed $600 from their mother to start a business with partner John Bender. Renting a small building at 503 South Bluff in downtown Wichita and purchasing secondhand equipment to make pizzas, the Carneys and Bender opened the first Pizza Hut restaurant; on opening night, they gave pizza away to encourage community interest. A year later, in 1959, Pizza Hut was incorporated in Kansas, and Dick Hassur opened the first franchise unit in Topeka.

Pizza Hut is split into several different restaurant formats; the original family-style dine-in locations; store front delivery and carry-out locations; and hybrid locations that offer carry-out, delivery, and dine-in options. Many full-size Pizza Hut locations offer lunch buffet, with "all-you-can-eat" pizza, salad, bread sticks, and a special pasta. Additionally, Pizza Hut also has a number of other business concepts that are different from the store type; Pizza Hut "Bistro" locations are "Red Roofs" which offer an expanded menu and slightly more upscale options.
"Pizza Hut Express" and "The Hut" locations are fast food restaurants. They offer a limited menu with many products not found at traditional Pizza Huts. These type of stores are often paired in a colocated location with a sibling brand such as WingStreet, KFC or Taco Bell, and are also found on college campuses, food courts, theme parks, and in stores such as Target.
Vintage "Red Roof" locations, designed by architect Richard D. Burke, can be found throughout the United States, and quite a few exist in the UK and Australia, and México. Phillip Langdon in his book Orange Roofs, Golden Arches wrote that the Pizza Hut "Red Roof" architecture "is something of a strange object -- considered outside the realm of significant architecture, yet swiftly reflecting shifts in popular taste and unquestionably making an impact on daily life. These buildings rarely show up in architectural journals, yet they have become some of the most numerous and conspicuous in the United States today."

Pizza Hut is an American restaurant chain and international franchise that offers different styles of pizza along with side dishes including salad, pasta, buffalo wings, breadsticks, garlic bread and desserts.
Corporately known as Pizza Hut, Inc., it is a subsidiary of Yum! Brands, Inc., the world's largest restaurant company.
As of 2012, there were more than 6,000 Pizza Hut restaurants in the United States, and more than 5,139 store locations in 94 other countries and territories around the world.
First Pizza Hut Building, Wichita, Kansas
Pizza Hut was founded on June 15, 1958 by brothers Dan and Frank Carney in their hometown of Wichita, Kansas. When a friend suggested opening a pizza parlor—then a rarity—they agreed that the idea could prove successful, and they borrowed $600 from their mother to start a business with partner John Bender. Renting a small building at 503 South Bluff in downtown Wichita and purchasing secondhand equipment to make pizzas, the Carneys and Bender opened the first Pizza Hut restaurant; on opening night, they gave pizza away to encourage community interest. A year later, in 1959, Pizza Hut was incorporated in Kansas, and Dick Hassur opened the first franchise unit in Topeka.

Pizza Hut is split into several different restaurant formats; the original family-style dine-in locations; store front delivery and carry-out locations; and hybrid locations that offer carry-out, delivery, and dine-in options. Many full-size Pizza Hut locations offer lunch buffet, with "all-you-can-eat" pizza, salad, bread sticks, and a special pasta. Additionally, Pizza Hut also has a number of other business concepts that are different from the store type; Pizza Hut "Bistro" locations are "Red Roofs" which offer an expanded menu and slightly more upscale options.
"Pizza Hut Express" and "The Hut" locations are fast food restaurants. They offer a limited menu with many products not found at traditional Pizza Huts. These type of stores are often paired in a colocated location with a sibling brand such as WingStreet, KFC or Taco Bell, and are also found on college campuses, food courts, theme parks, and in stores such as Target.
Vintage "Red Roof" locations, designed by architect Richard D. Burke, can be found throughout the United States, and quite a few exist in the UK and Australia, and México. Phillip Langdon in his book Orange Roofs, Golden Arches wrote that the Pizza Hut "Red Roof" architecture "is something of a strange object -- considered outside the realm of significant architecture, yet swiftly reflecting shifts in popular taste and unquestionably making an impact on daily life. These buildings rarely show up in architectural journals, yet they have become some of the most numerous and conspicuous in the United States today."

Hot Dog Bites Pizza
377 Calories Per Slice
Prep: 15 min Bake: 20-25 min

Ingredients:
• 1 Package of Hot Dogs
• Pizza Dough
• 1 Cup Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
• Pepperoni
• Pizza Sauce
• 1/4 Cup Baking Soda
• 2 Cups Water
• Sea Salt
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Directions:
1.) Roll out your pizza dough till it's pretty thin. This step is actually extremely hard to describe. Just watch the video if you're having trouble with this step.
2.) Place it on your round baking sheet. The dough should hang over the edges. Trim off any thick pieces. We don't want thick shit on our pizza. It will look weird.
3.) Layer your hot dogs around the crust area.
4.) Fold the excess dough over around and under the dogs pressing itself back into the dough.
5.) Now make equally spaced slices into the hot dog & dough around the entire crust area.
6.) Now pull them away, turn them 90 degrees and set them down so the hot dog is now facing outward. Do this to all of them.
7.) If you want your hot dog bites to be pretzel style, get a pot with 2 cups of water to 1/4 cup of baking soda and bring it to a boil. Brush this on the dough you want pretzelized and then sprinkle on sea salt.
8.) Spread on your sauce & cheese and whatever toppings you desire.
9.) Bake at 400°F for 20-25 minutes turning half way.
10.) Cut & eat this monstrosity with a side of mustard.
