If your book is Young Adult, Comedic Romance, or something serious with a jaded female lead, she probably is. Amy McFadden taps her outstanding comedic talent to become Amy Gallup, a 62-year-old novelist and writing instructor from California whose trip and fall while trying to plant a Norfolk pine results in one calamitous and transformative event after another. McFadden performs Willett's witty satire with humor and irony. Yet she's savvy enough to emphasize the tender over the sardonic. Events after Gallup's fall and mild concussion conspire to forge amazing adventures and life changes-from the ridiculous to the profound. The before and after become a plausible dichotomy that both author and performer achieve beautifully.

Narrator Amy McFadden provides the perfect blend of romantic tension and humor in these two stories of love blooming in the workplace.
McFadden captures the high-energy charm of Joshua's 10-year-old daughter as well as Bethany's conflict between nurturing the girl and remaining emotionally uninvolved with her boss. McFadden's animated voice and smooth transitions between characters' voices make for an enticing listening experience.

Amy McFadden's superb narration propels the listener into the high-stakes world of professional horseback-riding competition. McFadden's diversity of snooty accents for the school's wealthy students is impressive. Her depiction of the close bond between Vivienne and the horses is perfectly paced. This emotionally charged production will touch listeners' hearts.

JTFrazier REVIEW: Charlie Holmberg's The Glass Magician
Amy McFadden‘s excellent narration added to the overall joy of reading the book. I thought her Ceony spot-on, Emery's great as always and she did a nice bit with the gruffness of Grath. Saraj's accent was nicely done as well. Her narration is consistent within itself and the character. I'm delighted with her narration and hope she continues with the series.

AUDIOFILE REVIEW: Elizabeth George's The Edge of Nowhere
McFadden seamlessly combines paranormal events with the adolescent crises of a teen who finds herself on her own. McFadden skillfully portrays the troubled Becca and the voices that haunt her. McFadden also creates strong portraits of secondary characters such as Debbie's ebullient grandchildren.
