Lev Borisovich Kamenev (Russian: Лев Бори́сович Ка́менев, IPA: [ˈlʲɛf bɐˈrʲisəvʲɪtɕ ˈkamʲɪnʲɪf]; 18 July [O.S. 6 July] 1883 – 25 August 1936), born Rozenfeld (Russian: Ро́зенфельд), was a Bolshevik revolutionary and a prominent Soviet politician. He was one of the seven members of the first Politburo, founded in 1917 to manage the Bolshevik Revolution: Lenin, Zinoviev, Kamenev, Trotsky, Stalin, Sokolnikov and Bubnov.
Kamenev was the brother-in-law of Leon Trotsky. He served briefly as the equivalent of the first head of state of Soviet Russia in 1917, and from 1923-24 as acting Premier in the last year of Vladimir Lenin's life. Joseph Stalin viewed him as a source of discontent and a source of opposition to his own leadership; Kamenev fell out of favour and was executed on 25 August 1936, aged 53, after a brief show trial.
Kamenev was born in Moscow, the son of a Jewish railway worker and a Russian Orthodox mother. The wealth that his father had acquired in the building of the Baku-Batumi railway was used to fund a good education for Lev. He went to the boys' Gymnasium in Tiflis, Georgia (now Tbilisi) and attended Moscow University, but his education was interrupted by an arrest in 1902. From that point on, he was a professional revolutionary, working in St. Petersburg, Moscow and Tiflis. Kamenev married a fellow Marxist (and Leon Trotsky's sister), Olga Kameneva, in the early 1900s and the couple had two sons.
Vladislav Dmitrievich Kamenev (Каменев Владислав Дмитриевич, born August 12, 1996) is a Russian ice hockey player. He is currently playing with the Milwaukee Admirals in the American Hockey League (AHL) as a prospect for the Nashville Predators of the National Hockey League (NHL). Kamenev was selected by the Predators in the second round (42nd overall) of the 2014 NHL Entry Draft.
Kamenev made his Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) debut playing with Metallurg Magnitogorsk during the 2013–14 KHL season.
At the conclusion of his first full KHL season in 2014–15 with Magnitogorsk, Kamenev opted to pursue his NHL ambitions, in agreeing to a three-year entry-level contract with the Nashville Predators on July 10, 2015.
Vladislav (Belarusian: Уладзіслаў (Uladzislaŭ); Polish: Władysław, Włodzisław; Russian, Bulgarian, Macedonian, Serbian: Владислав; Ukrainian: Владислав (Vladyslav)) is a Slavic male given name, sometimes confused with/treated as the same as Ladislav. It is traditionally Latinized as either Vladislaus or (erroneously) Ladislaus, or sometimes Vladislas. Feminine form is Vladislava/Władysława.
In Russia it is often shortened either to Vlad (Влад) or Slava (Слава).
The name is of old Slavic origin, meaning "one who commands fame" from Slavic vlad- (to rule, command) and slav- (glory, fame).
Vladimir Ilyich Ulyanov (Russian: Влади́мир Ильи́ч Улья́нов; IPA: [vlɐˈdʲimʲɪr ɪˈlʲjitɕ ʊˈlʲjanəf]), alias Lenin (/ˈlɛnɪn/;Russian: Ле́нин; IPA: [ˈlʲenʲɪn]) (22 April [O.S. 10 April] 1870 – 21 January 1924) was a Russian communist revolutionary, politician, and political theorist. He served as head of government of the Russian Republic from 1917 to 1918, of the Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic from 1918 to 1924, and of the Soviet Union from 1922 to 1924. Under his administration, Russia and then the wider Soviet Union became a one-party communist state governed by the Russian Communist Party. Ideologically a Marxist, his political theories are known as Leninism.
Born to a wealthy middle-class family in Simbirsk, Lenin gained an interest in revolutionary socialist politics following his brother's execution in 1887. Expelled from Kazan State University for participating in protests against the Russian Empire's Tsarist regime, he devoted the following years to a law degree. In 1893 he moved to Saint Petersburg and became a senior figure in the Marxist Russian Social Democratic Labour Party (RSDLP). Arrested for sedition and exiled to Shushenskoye for three years, there he married Nadezhda Krupskaya. After his exile he moved to Western Europe, where he became a prominent party theorist through his publications. In 1903, he took a key role in a RSDLP schism over ideological differences, leading the Bolshevik faction against Julius Martov's Mensheviks. Encouraging insurrection during Russia's failed Revolution of 1905, he later campaigned for the First World War to be transformed into a Europe-wide proletarian revolution, which as a Marxist he believed would result in the overthrow of capitalism and its replacement with socialism. After the 1917 February Revolution ousted the Tsar and established a Provisional Government, he returned to Russia to campaign for the new regime's removal by a Bolshevik-led government of the soviets.
Lev Lvovich Kamenev (Russian: Лев Льво́вич Ка́менев; 1834, according to other information in 1833, Rylsk, Kursk Governorate – 26 January [O.S. 14 January] 1886 Savvinskaya sloboda, Moscow Governorate), was a Russian landscape painter.
Lev Kamenev born in 1834. Soon afterwards, his father, a small trader, moved with the family in Astrakhan, where Lev studied at the local grammar school, but not finished it because of the father was in need of assistant, and took him to own shop. A passion for painting with Lev Kamenev saw grandfather of Konstantin Korovin, who arranged him to own office and gave him five thousand rubles for admission to the Art school in St. Petersburg. In 1854, aged twenty-one year, he went to Moscow and entered the Moscow School of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture with the coming celebrities as Ivan Shishkin and Vasily Perov, where he studied under the mentoring Karl Rabus, and after his death in 1857, under the mentoring Alexei Savrasov. In 1858 Kamenev was bestowed the title of the professional painter of the 3d degree and became a member of the Moscow Society of Amateurs of Arts, at the expense of it he departed for a two-year trip abroad for learning and mastery of Western European artists. Traveling to Germany and Switzerland, he carried out together with Ivan Shishkin. The real blooming of Kamenev creative came in 1860-70s, when his painting Winter Road took its place in the Tretyakov collection. In 1869 for the painting Winter View from the Outskirts of Moscow and View from the Outskirts of Porechye he received the title of academician of the Academy of Arts landscape painting and became a member and one of the founders of The Association of Traveling Art Exhibitions (Peredvizhniki). Between the 1871-1884 Kamenev took part at the exhibitions of the Association. In 1886 Kamenev died in poverty and solitude.

Trotsky is holding a copy of his book 'Behind The Moscow Trial'. He stands in front of a brick wall. He apologises for his poor English and gives thanks to the Mexican people and their leader President Cardenas. He thanks Cardenas for allowing him to go from being held 'under lock and key' in Norway to being able to talk freely in Mexico. He says that Stalin's trial against him is based on false evidence. This is based on Stalinism - 'the irresponsible despotism of the bureaucracy over the people." He wants to show his personal files to an independent inquiry to prove himself innocent. He wants a counter trial. A Mexican voice calls out cut. N.B. Trotsky was assassinated in Mexico in August 1940. This film dates from between 1937 and then. For those with a Stalinist bent it is inter...

While Stalin is twice-married, both wives die suspicious deaths, the first of "typhoid" after being kicked in the stomach while pregnant, and the second of "appendicitis" after committing suicide. Stalin then systematically murders or imprisons his many in-laws. Witnesses of these events furnish the horrid...

The word socialism itself is often shrouded in an absolute tingling mystery. One can think of Karl Marx and his best mate Friedrich Engles in coming up with the most influential of all socialist theories -- Marxism. Or one can even think of prolific leftist such as Leon Trotsky, Vladimir Lenin, Lev Kamenev and the demure Rosa Luxemburg, all of which championed the very fundamentals of socialism. They, quite proactively and aggressively so, spread the word that privately owned means of production or capitalism if you must runs on exploitation which further churns out wealth benefiting a rather small and segmented group of people thus creating an unequal society. To make things sweet and simple sans jargons and terminologies, it makes the rich richer and the poor poorer. Klik4malaysia ca...
