This was taken off a 2007 Honda Odyssey with a V6 engine. Overheating was intermittent, like a bad radiator. Well the Honda dealership thought it was a blown head gasket. Well they brought it to Bundys Garage and we got him back on the road.

AISIN Water Pump have 6 impeller while GMB water pump have 7 impeller. The problem in my old water pump is it have a noisy sound bearing but no water leaks.

Aisin to pay $35 million US fine for price-fixing
The US Justice Department says a Toyota Group company has agreed to plead guilty and pay a criminal fine for fixing prices. Department officials say auto parts maker Aisin Seiki based in Aichi Prefecture, central Japan, is to pay 35.8 million dollars. The officials say the firm conspired with other companies in adjusting prices of valve devices for controlling engine air flow. They say the practice ran from 2000 to 2010. The case is part of the department's ongoing anti-trust investigations into auto parts cartels, centering on Japanese firms. -

Mitsubishi Electric has suspended operations at its factory in Koshi City, which produces semiconductors for cars.
The Kumamoto subsidiaries of auto-parts manufacturer Aisin Seiki have also been affected.
The company makes car doors and engine parts for automakers such as Toyota.
Toyota says the disruption of supplies from Aisin Seiki will force it to gradually suspend production at most of its assembly plants in Aichi and other prefectures through Saturday.
Mitsubishi Motors also says it will halt minicar production at its factory in Kurashiki City, Okayama Prefecture, from Monday night through Tuesday due to a shortage of supplies from Aisin Seiki.
Auto-makers have tried to procure parts from multiple suppliers since the 2011 quake and tsunami in Japan's northeast. They suffered disrupted supplies of parts from factories in the disaster areas.
There is concern the extended suspension of operation could have an impact on these firms' performances.

A cada 60 mil KM o óleo do cambio automático deve obrigatoriamente ser trocado, isso é chamada manutenção preventiva, o que não sai caro. - If the belt breaks, the engine will immediately stop running, leaving you stranded and with a large repair bill.

Detailed instructions from bolt sizes, special tools, torque specs, how to break the crankshaft pulley bolt loose, plus so much more.
- Timing belts transfer rotational power from the crankshaft to the camshafts, which in turn open and close the intake and exhaust valves.
- Timing belts have perpendicular ridges, or “cogs” that synchronize with gears on the crankshaft and camshafts to ensure that they rotate in precise timing.
- With time and miles, the belts can stretch and the cogs can separate from the belt, negatively affecting valve timing and possible catastrophic engine failure.
- If the belt breaks, the engine will immediately stop running, leaving you stranded and with a large repair bill.
