Lekh Tandon (born 13 February 1929) has directed numerous Bollywood movies and Indian TV Serials. Recently he has acted in few movies such as Swades. He is brother of Urdu playwright Yograj Tandon.
Lekh's father F. C. Tandon had studied with Prithviraj Kapoor during High School at Khalsa High School, Layalpur in Punjab and had been friends. Prithviraj Kapoor inspired Lekh to work in Bollywood. Around same time, Lekh's brother Yograj was working as assistant-director and secretary to Prithviraj Kapoor.
Lekh started as Assistant Director in Hindi movie industries in 1950's and became director of several hit movies. Then he moved onto nascent TV scene in its early years and started directing TV Serials. His first offering was Phir Wahi Talash on Indian National TV Channel Doordarshan. Lekh is also credited for discovering Shahrukh Khan by casting him his TV serial Dil Dariya.

Synopsis :
Khuda Kasam is about Ranvir who works under Raiszada who is involved in criminal activities. The main message you get from this movie is that no matter what, you should never work for money or do anything illegal for money.
Ranvir Singh is an employee of Raiszada Hukamchand, who is involved in criminal activities. One day Raiszada kills a man named Victor, and asks Ranvir to take the blame for this crime, for which he offers to pay him a lot of money. Ranvir agrees to do so only after Raiszada gives him a written confession, which he gets.
Thereafter Ranvir switches his clothes with that of the dead man, and they burn the place down. The dead man is identified as Ranvir Singh by the police, and his family, Mrs. Ranbir Singh, daughter, Geeta, and son, Sumer Singh, are informed about the same. Years later, Sumer comes to know that his father is still alive, and he is the wealthy/popular Mr. Girdharilal, who is married to gorgeous Latika. When Sumer approaches him, he denies being or ever knowing anyone by the name of Girdharilal. Sumer then decides to expose him, without knowing that he is jeopardizing his own safety as well as his family’s.
