The newest track was featured on a commercial for this summer’s Rio Olympics’ and it’s safe to say this track is about to be your new self-empowerment anthem! That’s My Girl is the album opener AKA track NUMBER 1on 7/27… You know, Fifth Harmony’s sophomore album… Thanks to the Rio Summer Olympics’ we got a little taste of what we can expect come the album’s release!! I’m not surprised that track NUMBER ONE IS A BANGER... Ally kicks off the first verse, singing, “Who’s been working so damn hard?/ You got that head on overload,” before praising “that flawless body” All the girls sing among some horns and of course that pounding bass singing ‘that’s my girl. That’s my girl. The song was NOT surprisingly written by Tinashe (lyrical Genius) and it’s safe to say this is one of the girl’s finest anthems to date. They are really KILLING it as of late. This album is about to be ERRTHANG. After pushing their album a week (with rumors flying that the push was indeed because Ariana Grande is dropping her album come the 20th (This Friday) we still have over a week until we get to hear 7/27 in its entirety) but hey, I think it’s going to be well worth the wait.
