Gears kicked up this seminal third person shooter franchise that became a staple of the Xbox 360. Now, 9 years later, it has been remastered. There are a lot of subtle differences here. The world is more colorful and vivid. The multiplayer has been modernized in it's movement and feel. In my opinion, this is what a remaster should be. It should stay loyal to the original, but make significant improvements. Many of the recent "remasters" have been upgrades of games that came out only a year ago. Gears does it right. The cutscenes have been fully reworked by Plastic Wax. They feel movie-like. As always we included relevant gameplay, important dialogue and all cutscenes to create a fluid cinematic experience.
