"The Day Before You Came" is a song recorded and released by Swedish pop group ABBA, their second longest (behind "Eagle") at almost 6:00 in length. It was originally released in 1982 as both a single, and a track on the compilation album The Singles: The First Ten Years. It was the final ABBA recording; however, it was not their final song to be released: the next single was "Under Attack", also featured on the album.
After 1981's The Visitors, Björn Ulvaeus and Benny Andersson took some time off to write new material, yet at the same time, they were beginning to create their first musical, Chess, alongside Tim Rice. Meanwhile, Agnetha Fältskog and Anni-Frid Lyngstad slowly began their English-language solo careers. Fältskog recorded with fellow ABBA backing vocalist Tomas Ledin the song "Never Again" (a hit in Europe) and played a leading role in the Swedish film Raskenstam, while Lyngstad worked with Phil Collins to produce her solo album Something's Going On.

The Day Before is the first EP and recording from Snob Scrilla, released on 18 July 2008 in Australia by record label Ivy League Records.
Jericho is an American television drama series produced by Carol Barbee,Jon Turteltaub, Dan Shotz, Jonathan Steinberg, Josh Schaer, and Stephen Chbosky. The series is set in the fictional town of Jericho, Kansas in the aftermath of the simultaneous nuclear attacks on 23 American cities. Significant story arcs in the first season are the immediate aftermath of detonation of the bombs, the resulting isolation of the town, and confrontations between family, friends, bandits, and neighboring towns. The second season focuses on the arrival of a new federal government, the imposition of a police state, and Jake Green's (Skeet Ulrich) and Robert Hawkins' (Lennie James) attempt to expose the masterminds behind the attack.
Jericho originally aired from September 20, 2006 to March 25, 2008 on CBS in the United States. For the first season, 22 episodes were ordered and separated into two runs of 11 episodes each. The series went on hiatus after the "fall finale" episode of November 29, 2006, and returned with a recap episode on February 14, 2007. The remaining 11 episodes of the first season were then broadcast from February 21, 2007 to May 9, 2007. Because of lackluster results during the latter half of the first season, the show was not renewed. After a large fan outcry CBS ordered seven additional episodes for a trial second season, which began airing on February 12, 2008 and ended on March 25, 2008. Though the second season received favorable reviews, it was ultimately canceled.
"You Came" is the second single from the Kim Wilde album Close.
The single became one of the biggest hits of her long career topping the charts throughout Europe and reaching #3 in the UK Singles Chart. Although it did not continue her United States success, on the pop chart, it peaked at number ten on the dance chart.
The song was released during the summer of 1988, while Wilde was supporting Michael Jackson on the European leg of his Bad tour (the video for "You Came" showed material from the concerts as well as backstage footage). With the Close album becoming a best-seller, this was arguably the point where Wilde was at the pinnacle of her career as "You Came" reached the top ten in charts all over the world.
The song was written by Wilde and her brother after the birth of his first child, Marty.
The version of the song used for the 7" single in Europe and Australia was an edited version of the original found on the Close album. An extended version was also released on the 12" and CD-single format.

Sono riuscito a ottenere la migliore definizione del video di questo brano che adoro. "The Day Before You Came" è stata registrata e mixata in digitale il 20 agosto 1982, con il titolo provvisorio di "Den Lidande Fågeln" (The Bird sofferenza). Indimenticabili!
BEST QUALITY SOUND AND VIDEO. :)

(Benny Andersson / Björn Ulvaeus)
Must have left my house at eight, because I always do
My train, I'm certain, left the station just when it was due
I must have read the morning paper going into town
And having gotten through the editorial, no doubt I must have frowned.
I must have made my desk around a quarter after nine
With letters to be read, and heaps of papers waiting to be signed
I must have gone to lunch at half past twelve or so
The usual place, the usual bunch
And still on top of this I'm pretty sure it must have rained
The day before you came.
I must have lit my seventh cigarette at half past two
And at the time I never even noticed I was blue
I must have kept on dragging through the business of the day
Without really knowing anything, I hid a part of me away.
At five I must have left, there's no exception to the rule
A matter of routine, I've done it ever since I finished school
The train back home again
Undoubtedly I must have read the evening paper then
Oh yes, I'm sure my life was well within it's usual frame
The day before you came.
Must have opened my front door at eight o'clock or so
And stopped along the way to buy some Chinese food to go
I'm sure I had my dinner watching something on TV
There's not, I think, a single episode of Dallas that I didn't see.
I must have gone to bed around a quarter after ten
I need a lot of sleep, and so I like to be in bed by then
I must have read a while
The latest one by Marilyn French or something in that style
It's funny, but I had no sense of living without aim
The day before you came.
And turning out the light
I must have yawned and cuddled up for yet another night
And rattling on the roof
I must have heard the sound of rain
