Numerous recent blogs and web postings are erroneously claiming that an asteroid will impact Earth, sometime between Sept. 15 and 28, 2015. On one of those dates, as rumors go, there will be an impact -- "evidently" near Puerto Rico -- causing wanton destruction to the Atlantic and Gulf coasts of the United States and Mexico, as well as Central and South America.
That's the rumor that has gone viral -- now here are the facts.
"There is no scientific basis -- not one shred of evidence -- that an asteroid or any other celestial object will impact Earth on those dates," said Paul Chodas, manager of NASA's Near-Earth Object office at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, California.

Everything I Long For is the debut album by Canadian singer-songwriter Hayden. It was initially released in Canada on Hardwood Records. It was later re-released in 1996 (with slightly modified cover art) on Sonic Unyon, and internationally on Outpost Recordings/Geffen Records. A 12" vinyl version was also released in 1996 on Hardwood/Genius Records.
The song "Assignment in Space with Rip Foster" is an alternative title to the children's novel Rip Foster Rides the Gray Planet by Harold L. Goodwin. Assignment in Space with Rip Foster is also attributed in the liner notes of Hayden's debut album, In September, as the recording studio where he recorded part of that album.
The song "Bad as They Seem" was released as a single, and the music video received some play on MuchMusic and MTV's 120 Minutes. The lyrics are from the point of view of a young twenty-something man in a hopeless situation: working a dead-end job ("where [he worked] at fourteen"), still living at his parents' home ("until [he's] at least forty-three"), infatuated with a 16-year-old "girl of [his] dreams", and possibly infatuated with the girl's mother, as well. The man wishes for a life where he can go out and meet someone to be his "better half". The hopeless and depressing nature of the song is reiterated with each verse, which states that "things are as bad as they seem". The third verse of the song ("Job of my dreams…") is absent from the album's reissues.[citation needed]

Thabo Mvuyelwa Mbeki (pronunciation: [tʰaɓɔ mbɛːkʼi]; born 18 June 1942) is a South African politician who served two terms as the second post-apartheid President of South Africa from 14 June 1999 to 24 September 2008. He is also the brother of Moeletsi Mbeki. On 20 September 2008, he announced his resignation after being recalled by the African National Congress's National Executive Committee, following a conclusion by Judge Nicholson of improper interference in the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA), including the prosecution of Jacob Zuma for corruption. On 12 January 2009, the Supreme Court of Appeal unanimously overturned Judge Nicholson’s judgment but the resignation stood.
Thabo Mbeki was the executive face of government in South Africa from 1994. During his time in office the economy grew at an average rate of 4.5% per annum. Mbeki created employment in the middle sectors of the economy and oversaw a fast growing black middle class with the implementation of BEE. This growth exacerbated the demand for trained professionals strained by emigration due to violent crime, but failed to address unemployment amongst the unskilled bulk of the population. He attracted the bulk of Africa’s Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) and made South Africa the focal point of African growth. He was the architect of NEPAD whose aim is to develop an integrated socio-economic development framework for Africa. He also oversaw the successful building of economic bridges to BRIC (Brazil, Russia, India and China) nations with the eventual formation of the India-Brazil-South Africa (IBSA) Dialogue Forum to "further political consultation and co-ordination as well as strengthening sectoral co-operation, and economic relations".

Radric Davis (born February 2, 1980), better known by his stage name Gucci Mane, is an American rapper. He debuted in 2005 with Trap House and followed with albums such as Hard to Kill in 2006, Trap-A-Thon and Back to the Trap House in 2007. In 2009, his second studio album The State vs. Radric Davis was released, and The Appeal: Georgia's Most Wanted was released in 2010, and is his highest charting album so far. Gucci Mane has released many other mixtapes and independent albums as well.
While serving a six-month jail term for assault in late 2005, Davis was charged with murder, though the charges were later dropped due to a lack of evidence. In 2009, he served a year-long county jail sentence for violating probation for his 2005 aggravated assault conviction.
Davis was born in Birmingham, Alabama, and later moved with his single mother to Atlanta. He enjoyed writing poetry as a child, and began rapping at age 14.
In 2005, Davis released his independent debut album entitled Trap House, which featured the successful single "Icy" with Young Jeezy. Disputes over the rights to this single caused a rift between the two artists. Hard to Kill followed in 2006. Hard To Kill included the hit single "Freaky Gurl". The song peaked at number 12 on the Hot Rap Tracks, number 19 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs, and at number 62 on the Hot 100.

Gucci Mane is coming home very soon. Guwop will be gaining his freedom in the next seven months.
According to the Federal Bureau of Prison’s records website, the Bricksquad 1017 boss will be released from Terre Haute penitentiary on Sept. 20.
In January, the Federal Bureau of Prison website stated Gucci would be released on March 6, 2017.
Multiple false rumors surfaced on the net in the past of Guwop’s expected release dates. The most recent rumor had Gucci coming home in March, but it was later dismissed.
The team behind Gucci’s Bricksquad 1017 Instagram was responsible for this rumor.
“Guwop get out in march 2016,” the caption on the post read.
Young Thug’s videographer, Be El Be, told his Twitter followers that Guwop would be released from prison in March.
“Thing is Gucci gets out in March… So y’all might as well add 3 more of those projects
“Wonder if Gucci will put out a project with all of the artists he helped put on. Thug Longway Dolph Migos,” he wrote on Twitter.
Rumors go even back to the summer.
Lil Bank Head, DJ for Atlanta’s Streetz 94.5, announced in June that Gucci was going to be released from prison in July.
“JULY 11 MY HOMIE BACK IN THE STREETS SALUTE,” the caption on one IG post read.
Guwop’s attorney Drew Findling, however, told MTV News the Atlanta rapper’s July 11 release date rumor was completely false.
“We do not know where that rumor came from, so that’s just Internet and social media fabrication,” Findling told MTV News. “We have no idea where that release date came from because we’re still in the midst of resolving things with the Bureau of Prisons. There was some confusion on their part, about his release date.”
Findling reportedly didn’t completely rule out the possibility that Gucci could be granted an early release from his three-year sentence, but he emphasized that nothing has been finalized.
“I can’t get into specifics, but we’re in the midst of corresponding with the Bureau of Prisons,” he added. “I’m trying to iron out a specific release date for him, but that I can tell you that is not his release date. There’s nothing formal about that. It’s a product of social media.”

Tax Free Island In Tasik Kenyir To Be Operational In September 2016
The Pulau Bayas tax free zone in Tasik Kenyir, Terengganu is expected to be fully operational in September. Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Ahmad Razif Abdul Rahman said currently, 75 per cent of the preparation to turn the island into a tax free zone had been completed.
Datuk Seri Ahmad Razif said other than the tax free island, Terengganu also offered numerous attractive products for tourists coming to Malaysia. He said the state government targeted 6.5 million of local and foreign tourists in conjunction with the 2017 Visit Terengganu year.
He said the target was a realistic one based on numerous promotion programmes conducted since the end of last year. Among the promotion programmes held were the 2015 Pesona Terengganu, 2016 Beautiful Terengganu and international level promotions at major cities in China.
According to Datuk Seri Ahmad Razif, the selection of Johor as a location of focus was to lure more tourists from the southern part of the peninsula and Singapore.

Watch in HD! I went out on Saturday to catch the Amtrak detours that were going over the pass on that day, and both turned out to have PV's on them! The Northbound also had an Amtrak Cascades NPCU (Cabbage) on it, and the southbound had a GE P32-8BWH trailing. But before both trains went through, I caught a large amount of traffic moving over the pass. UP signal maintainers were doing Signal Relay tests in the morning so a bottleneck was formed in the afternoon, creating a rather uneventful morning. There were a lot of Warbonnets on the pass on that day (Including an SD75I, not pictured), and most are viewed there. I also spent some time at a couple of new locations, including an overlook above Caliente, the abandoned Tunnel 4 at Cliff, and a pair of new angles at Rowan and Warren. The highest profile of these was in Brooklyn, New York, where the FBI wanted access to an iPhone belonging to a defendant who had already pleaded guilty to drug dealing ...
