Aulakh is a Jat clan found in Punjab, Pakistan , Punjab, in India.
Aulakhs claim Lipka Tatar descent.[citation needed] in URDU اولکھ but not اولاخ
The British rulers in colonial India considered Aulakhs good soldiers.[citation needed]
The clan is spread all over Northern India, and is found in many villages of Amritsar District and Ludhiana District of Punjab.
In Pakistan, the clan is found both among both Punjabi speaking Jatts of Central Punjab (from Sialkot in the north to Mian Channu in the south), as well as a large community in Layyah District which tends to be Seraiki speaking. Aulakh "Jathere" are in Jamalpur village as well as Dyal Rajputtan and Shabazpur near Taran Taran (Amritsar). However it is believed most Aulakh are of Jatt Jagirdar clan of Sargodha, Sialkot and Mian Channu, Pakistan. In Gujranwala district, there is village "Aulakh Bhaikay" and also Aulakh Jatt live in Chehal Kalan Village in Gujranwala, Moreover there also live a number of aulakh Jatts in Nalka Kohala, Faisalabad.
