  • SUPPORT BAHAR MUSTAFA - The 2015 annual IWW Conference strongly approved an emergency motion proposed by London IWW to stand in solidarity with Bahar Mustafa, a Goldsmiths students' union officer who has faced persecution in the mainstream media and death threats from the right wing for organising a meeting for BME (Black and Minority Ethnic) women and non-binary people.

  • The IWW is currently leading on a campaign to get YHA workers paid a living wage.

This campaign was first started by workers at one of the YHA hostels, and it soon ballooned in to something a lot bigger. Support came from organsations and individuals up and down the country, as well as from other YHA workers.

However the IWW become involved when the messages for help become too much. Since January we've been trying to organise and support workers in the YHA as much as possible. This, of course, has been completely discreet.
