The season 6 finale of The Walking Dead aired last night to VERY mixed reactions.
Fans were finally treated to
Jeffrey Dean Morgan as Negan but were left with a very salty cliffhanger. Fans assaulted, as they’re known to do, the social media world and bashed the finale for its lack of payoff after an entire season leading up to this
point.
On
April 10th both
Showtime and Starz will be entering the binge market when they release all 6 episodes of Dice, the new series starring
Andrew Dice Clay and all 13 episodes of
Steven Soderbergh’s The Girlfriend Experience. Other networks like
TBS have tried such moves with their comedy
Angie Tribeca, but this is a first for a pay channel like Showtime or Starz.
FX’s
It’s Always Sunny in
Philadelphia has been renewed for its 12th,
13th and
14th season on the network. The 14th season will tie the all time record of seasons by a live action comedy show set by
Ozzie and Harriet in the
1950’s.
The comedy, which all started with a camcorder pitch from a
Hollywood apartment originally aired on FX and moved to
FXX, just ended its 11th season in early March.
SUPERHERO RUNDOWN
Jessica Henwick, who recently played
Nymeria Sand on
Game of Thrones will join the cast of Netflix’s
Iron Fist as
Colleen Wing, a martial arts master that has the ability to harness her chi to increase her strength and accelerate her healing power. She plays a central role in Iron Fist’s development and
Danny Rand’s assimilation back into
New York.
In an interview with Collider.com,
Preacher showrunner and
Breaking Bad alum
Sam Catlin spoke about the series not being be Preacher lite or PreacherTV. In other words the dark, violent series, will try its damnedest to appease its loyal fan base who want the darkness it’s accustomed to.
The Flash ventured onto
Supergirl last week on
CBS. The episode gave the rookie series a nice spike in ratings and opened the door for other crossovers of its kind.

PILOT REVIEW: The Path
The Path follows a family at the center of a controversial cult movement as they struggle with relationships, faith, and power. Each episode takes an in-depth look at the gravitational pull of belief and what it means to choose between the life we live and the life we want. The series blends elements of mystery-thriller, romance, and mysticism.
